Holy Crap!! I just got back from China House off of Mt Holly rd and the food has taken a turn for the worse! What the hell is up with the spring roll? That is not what I was expecting from you guys. It seems like a frozen packaged junk (and it tastes like it) half the size and frozen flavor. I liked the old ones you used to sell. I also ordered a fried rice and lo mein dish but is kinda worried to try it. Quality has gone down in my opinion. Once was my go to spot and bragged to all about how good they are. Now they have changed so much that they hit rock bottom. Gonna need to venture out and find a new Chinese food place. read more

China House - Spring Roll! - Chinese Near Me - Burlington, New Jersey

Good food good staff what else do you need? What else could you ask for love? The food love the location cause my kids can go and play across the street. And I could feed my stomach love it read more

Typical Chinese restaurant, got some egg rolls to go and they were great. Friendly employees

This is my go to spot for American Chinese food. My favorite is their Singapore pan fried noodles, sesame chicken, lo mein, beef and broccoli and shrimp with lobster sauce. I've tried over 8 different spots in the Burlington NJ area and this is the only Chinese food take out spot I would recommend and they are fast, clean and consistently great. They always provide excellent service and if you're a regular customer, owner always offer free drinks or occasionally seasonal treats. This is the best place in the Burlington NJ area and my weekly go to spot for my family. My children always are impressed with their sesame chicken (Request extra crispy), and occasionally they crave their fried crab sticks. read more

I honestly don't know why. This place has such a bad rating.I love this place friendly lady at the front and great food. What more do you need

The food was delicious and the lady in the front was nice. Would definitely go again!!!

I would give them no stars. She was very Rude. My sister and I ordered 2 platters. We wanted to eat inside. My boyfriend had food of his own because he doesn't eat Chinese food she waited till we sat down and we're already eating to tell us we couldn't eat there because my boyfriend had something that wasn't from here even though me and my sister were 2 paying customers already. read more

Delicious boneless spareribs and great customer service. I can tell my coworker loved his meal but refused to comment on it for the sake of this review (I don't know what his deal is, he has some weird food related issues. Like he won't even accept food or a snack from anyone. I invited him over for thanksgiving just this year and he brought his own Ellios pizza!) anyways, I will definitely be coming back here whenever I'm in the area! read more

Does not follow instructions. I made a simple request for a different type of rice with my meal and they either didn't pay attention to it or chose to ignore it. I am spending my hard earned money with them instead of a different restaurant and they can't even be bothered to read the order? Not going back. read more

Tonight I TRIED to order from this place and after waiting for over two hours for the food to arrive, I finally called the restaurant. The lady who answered tried to give me some lame excuse....amazingly the food showed up right after I called. The delivery driver called me to say he was outside, but I refused it. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

I did not get to try the food because the lady inside it was so rude it got to the point where I asked for my money back didn't want to deal with these people extremely rude to the customers all I asked was if you guys had Sriracha sauce she looked at me with no response like I was crazy read more

I will be back ! Food is good, people are friendly and quick service... my broccoli was fresh the pork tasted perfect and the rice was not clumpy. Another good meal from China House! read more

See all

I have been coming here for about 2 years and never had any big issues except for now. I ordered wings fried hard. When I got to work and started eating the wings, I realized, 1) they were not fried hard 2) they weren't cooked all the way. I called them immediately and explained the situation and how I took pictures. Saying as though I work in a secured facility, we aren't allowed to just leave until we are off. She told me that if I wanted a refund I had to bring the wings back. I explained to her that I could not leave the facility but has taken a picture of the wings and just wanted a fresh order tomorrow. She then told me to bring them back tomorrow and they couldn't do anything if I didn't bring back the old wings (a day later). Seeing as though I never have an issue, this was very unprofessional and unsanitary. I will not be giving this restaurant any more business in the future. The customer is always right and this should have been resolved immediately. read more

China House - "Fried hard" wings - Chinese Near Me - Burlington, New Jersey

It's the better Chinese place in the area of all the ones in the area. They are fast and food is pretty good. I order a lot so I usually get a free 2L with my order. 99.9% I get takeout from this place but the one time I ate in, I wasn't impressed with the decor of the restaurant. Customer service wasn't bad though. read more

This place sucks. Dirty and smelly. First time I ever had bad lo mein at any Chinese restaurant While waiting for my food, honestly, 3 people came in to find their orders were messed up They actually told one lady that they ran out of brown rice! OMG they're nuts The low life's hanging around outside just complete the experience!!! read more

Manager screams and belittles its employees in front of customers. that is bad business- She doesn't care. I simply put my menu back, told her that it was bad business to belittle employees in front of costumers. read more

The shrimp had the awful alcohol smell which means it's old shrimp plus the sauce appeared to be diluted -- taste was not good. General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice had minimal flavor. Peanuts were added/dumped into the peanut chicken dish; therefore, peanuts were not cooked. Spent over $40.00 and they claimed they couldn't provide more than two chopsticks. read more

I agree with the preview review. The food is good and quick service. I am not going to bother experimenting with other Chinese restaurants in the area. read more

Recently visited and found the recipe for my favorite item seems to have changed. Overall the food just didn't seem as good and I probably will not return. read more

The food is always decent. However the first time I ordered I noticed that I was charged a different amount than the online statement. So the 2nd time I ordered I noticed the same thing and decided to say something. I spoke to the (what I believe was the) wiener through the delivery mans phone and was trying to explain to her that they need to reflect the correct fees online (delivery charge). She was very rude and kept blaming the third party vendor and I told her but it is her website and her reputation that will go down. read more

Don't buy here. My experience with this place was very unpleasant. As part of my order, I was delivered an appetizer which was COMPLETELY sub par. They skimped on the ingredients and tried to serve something I doubt they'd ever eat. As a result of my dissatisfaction, I respectfully requested a refund and even made it known that I'd give the driver a tip and that only a bite of the food had been consumed and I'd return the rest. The woman who answered STILL asked "how much did you eat?..to which I replied "A BITE!...I don't like it!). She suggested that I come to the restaurant to get the delivery refund, I declined. Then she said I'd have to wait for another day. I agreed. Her final reply was for me to never order there again...as if she really had to tell me the obvious. Chinese restaurants are EVERYWHERE...if you are in this area, I would advise you to put your money anywhere but here. read more

Previously a devoted lim fongs customer, I was pleasantly surprised when trying this place. Their tofu dishes are really good, as well as their chicken dishes. I haven't tried the fried rice or lo mein yet but rest assured I will be back to try these items out! read more

I picked this place despite the terrible Yelp reviews because they would deliver after a snowfall and I didn't feel comfortable driving (not from here). Plus, the most recent review was favorable so I figured what the hell, it's Chinese so hard to go wrong. Well, I was wrong. I got spring rolls, vegetable lo mein, and vegetable fried rice. Asked specifically for a lot of soy sauce and a receipt (so I could expense the meal). I got one soy sauce packet and no receipt. Plus some mushy, overcooked lo mein and tasteless fried rice. The spring rolls weren't bad and the delivery driver was really nice, but that's not enough to save this. Easily worst Chinese food I've ever had. read more

We have been ordering from China House ever since we moved into the area so it has been quite a few years. From time to time we have tried other places but we always return to China House. We have never had a bad meal or had our order messed up so there are no complaints. Food is consistently good and prices are comparable to others in the area. Folks are friendly and courteous. read more

This is not a good place to satisfy your hunger at all!. their lomein is incredibly greasy, some of it was still cold. They about hang up on you when placing your order with no total given. Why? If you dont like what you do then change businesses, as i will be changing restaurants. read more
