Holy Crap!! I just got back from China House off of Mt Holly rd and the food has taken a turn for the worse! What the hell is up with the spring roll? That is not what I was expecting from you guys. It seems like a frozen packaged junk (and it tastes like it) half the size and frozen flavor. I liked the old ones you used to sell. I also ordered a fried rice and lo mein dish but is kinda worried to try it. Quality has gone down in my opinion. Once was my go to spot and bragged to all about how good they are. Now they have changed so much that they hit rock bottom. Gonna need to venture out and find a new Chinese food place. read more

This is my go to spot for American Chinese food. My favorite is their Singapore pan fried noodles, sesame chicken, lo mein, beef and broccoli and shrimp with lobster sauce. I've tried over 8 different spots in the Burlington NJ area and this is the only Chinese food take out spot I would recommend and they are fast, clean and consistently great. They always provide excellent service and if you're a regular customer, owner always offer free drinks or occasionally seasonal treats. This is the best place in the Burlington NJ area and my weekly go to spot for my family. My children always are impressed with their sesame chicken (Request extra crispy), and occasionally they crave their fried crab sticks. read more

Tonight I TRIED to order from this place and after waiting for over two hours for the food to arrive, I finally called the restaurant. The lady who answered tried to give me some lame excuse....amazingly the food showed up right after I called. The delivery driver called me to say he was outside, but I refused it. I have been coming here for about 2 years and never had any big issues except for now. I ordered wings fried hard. When I got to work and started eating the wings, I realized, 1) they were not fried hard 2) they weren't cooked all the way. I called them immediately and explained the situation and how I took pictures. Saying as though I work in a secured facility, we aren't allowed to just leave until we are off. She told me that if I wanted a refund I had to bring the wings back. I explained to her that I could not leave the facility but has taken a picture of the wings and just wanted a fresh order tomorrow. She then told me to bring them back tomorrow and they couldn't do anything if I didn't bring back the old wings (a day later). Seeing as though I never have an issue, this was very unprofessional and unsanitary. I will not be giving this restaurant any more business in the future. The customer is always right and this should have been resolved immediately. read more

It's the better Chinese place in the area of all the ones in the area. They are fast and food is pretty good. I order a lot so I usually get a free 2L with my order. 99.9% I get takeout from this place but the one time I ate in, I wasn't impressed with the decor of the restaurant. The shrimp had the awful alcohol smell which means it's old shrimp plus the sauce appeared to be diluted -- taste was not good. General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice had minimal flavor. Peanuts were added/dumped into the peanut chicken dish; therefore, peanuts were not cooked. Spent over $40.00 and they claimed they couldn't provide more than two chopsticks. read more

The food is always decent. However the first time I ordered I noticed that I was charged a different amount than the online statement. So the 2nd time I ordered I noticed the same thing and decided to say something. I spoke to the (what I believe was the) wiener through the delivery mans phone and was trying to explain to her that they need to reflect the correct fees online (delivery charge). She was very rude and kept blaming the third party vendor and I told her but it is her website and her reputation that will go down. read more

Don't buy here. My experience with this place was very unpleasant. As part of my order, I was delivered an appetizer which was COMPLETELY sub par. They skimped on the ingredients and tried to serve something I doubt they'd ever eat. As a result of my dissatisfaction, I respectfully requested a refund and even made it known that I'd give the driver a tip and that only a bite of the food had been consumed and I'd return the rest. The woman who answered STILL asked "how much did you eat?..to which I replied "A BITE!...I don't like it!). She suggested that I come to the restaurant to get the delivery refund, I declined. Then she said I'd have to wait for another day. I agreed. Her final reply was for me to never order there again...as if she really had to tell me the obvious. I picked this place despite the terrible Yelp reviews because they would deliver after a snowfall and I didn't feel comfortable driving (not from here). Plus, the most recent review was favorable so I figured what the hell, it's Chinese so hard to go wrong. Well, I was wrong. I got spring rolls, vegetable lo mein, and vegetable fried rice. Asked specifically for a lot of soy sauce and a receipt (so I could expense the meal). I got one soy sauce packet and no receipt. Plus some mushy, overcooked lo mein and tasteless fried rice. The spring rolls weren't bad and the delivery driver was really nice, but that's not enough to save this. Easily worst Chinese food I've ever had. read more

We have been ordering from China House ever since we moved into the area so it has been quite a few years. From time to time we have tried other places but we always return to China House. We have never had a bad meal or had our order messed up so there are no complaints. Food is consistently good and prices are comparable to others in the area. This is not a good place to satisfy your hunger at all!. their lomein is incredibly greasy, some of it was still cold. They about hang up on you when placing your order with no total given. Why? If you dont like what you do then change businesses, as i will be changing restaurants. read more
