You walk in pay for your buffet , and sit where you like . Real casual dining experience. The only negative thing i experienced was the dessertb, they were out of both cobblers for a little bit , didnt want to wait l,so tried a piece of each of the cakes they had in bowls. Chocolate Cake wasn't bad, butbwhat i believe to pineapple cake or something was very dry no flavor. I dont go to buffets for the deserts, so..the chicken an the rest of the food made up for the issue. A closer to home buffet , they did have a sign up for all you can eat crab legs on Sat 3-7pm.

The desserts were on a table in the back and were pre cut so I imagine they were dried out. I found an empty pan where there was supposed to have been a hot cobbler but it was not filled while we were there. The waitress was friendly and attentive. When I went up the first time there was no shrimp and I was very disappointed. I tried the fried chicken but it wasn't that good. The veggies I tried were good. Some were fresh and some were not. The second time I went up there was shrimp so I felt a lot better about the dinner. The shrimp were done well and the sauce I found was good. The atmosphere is homey/country and nothing fancy. I only saw tables but there was another room that I didn't go in so it might have had some other kind of seating. It's as expensive as the larger buffet's , even with a senior discount, which was a surprise. Tea is an extra charge, so I can't comment on that. I would give it another try if in the area again.

So we drove by this place before it opened, so we were excited to finally give it a try. I ordered…read morethe steak and chicken hibachi and was amazed that it was only $13.70, you can barely get McDonald's for that price anymore. It's a quick service restaurant, so you seat yourself, which we didn't mind at all. I thought the dining area was clean and cutely decorated with lucky cats, giving it a fun atmosphere. My meal was actually really good, especially for the price. I do wish the rice had a little more flavor, but I used the steak sauce that came with the meat, which helped. The steak was tender with very little fat, and I loved how flavorful the chicken was. It was cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and pleasant, and I think this is a great spot if you're looking for a quick, affordable meal. Overall, we highly recommend it for its great value, good food, and clean dining area.

I've been to this restaurant three or four times since it opened. The food is genuinely good, and…read morethe sushi is consistently enjoyable. Unfortunately, the biggest issue has been the front-of-house staff. Every time I've visited--and every time my partner has gone--the staff has been different, but the experience has been the same. They appear to be younger employees (likely high school or recent graduates), and they've consistently come across as standoffish, unwelcoming, and, at times, a bit rude. One example: if you ask for extra sauce, don't be surprised if you're told to walk over and get it yourself. The self-serve sauce station is also noticeably unclean. The sauce bottles are often sticky, which gives the impression that the area isn't being cleaned regularly. Also, when you ask for more sauce, and they say it's in the bag and dismiss you, check the bag in front of them, because when they did that to us, there was no sauce lol At this point, if I return, the service will determine whether I leave a tip. If the same level of rudeness continues, I don't feel it's deserved. It's worth noting this hasn't been an isolated incident with one employee--I've had similar experiences with at least four different front-of-house staff members, including two young men and two young women. The food keeps bringing me back, but the customer service makes it difficult to recommend the overall experience.

You can't beat three rolls for $12.99 and a drink. The staff is always friendly and polite when I go in. They have awesome yum yum sauce. No problems when I ask for modifications to rolls, tho there is a charge for extras but that isn't a problem. My go to order is the manhattan roll, tuna roll, and salmon katsu roll. I do ask for my tuna roll to have cucumber and avocado added to it with the rice on the outside and never have an issue with my request. However, this time I tried the Alaska roll (very delicious!) and I will incorporate it into my sushi rotation! They have a good California roll if you're in need of something basic. Their noodle plates are large portions. Enough for two or three meals. The fried rice is just fried rice no veggies in it, and is perfect for those who just want some basic fried rice. I've only ever ordered to go, but the inside is clean and comfortable. I see people dining here from time to time. Overall it's a great sushi place that I'll gladly keep coming back to!

It's hard to find a restaurant where you can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner anytime, and have the food consistently be this good. The waitresses are always friendly, pleasant, and efficient. You can tell they work hard, but they still take the time to make you feel welcome. Our food comes out quickly and hot, which is especially nice when you're hungry! And the food is just delicious. The portions are generous--definitely enough to leave you satisfied--and the prices are very reasonable. In a time when restaurant prices seem to keep going up, it's wonderful to find a place where you can get a really good meal, a generous portion, great service, and still feel like you got your money's worth. Blue Grill has that special local, hometown feeling that is becoming harder and harder to find. It's the kind of place you want to support because the people are friendly, the food is good, and you know you're going to have a good experience. If you're in High Springs and haven't tried Blue Grill, you really should! We highly recommend it and are happy to support such a wonderful local restaurant.

I think I was in there once…read moreback when it was a barbecue place, but since then it has also been a bakery, and now a grill. I went in for lunch, figuring it was another place to give a shot. The menu is pretty standard for a diner style restaurant, with heavy emphasis in the morning for omelettes, then your usual burgers and other homestyle goodies in the afternoon and evening. I went for the Texas burger, asking for it to be cooked medium. What I got was more rare, bordering on blue. Not a good start. The fries that came with it were predictably SysCo style fries. No proof that they were actually provided by such, but they definitely had the style. Staff were friendly, and the seating at the bar was comfortable. Realistically, I don't see myself going back any time soon, unless a group of people invite me to go. It is a bit of a trek from Gainesville, so going specifically to eat there is not in the cards.
