I have no idea how this place has less than 4 stars. I have been to this restaurant multiple times, and every time I am always amazed by how good the food is. The service here is always quick and they certainly put effort into their food. I have to fight off an addiction from this place each time I order from here it's that delicious. read more

China Garden Used to be my favorite place to order food for around 15 years and it was amazing. I hear chinese people dont even own this place anymore and it shows. We ordered 3 General Tso's dinners last night and 3 orders of crab ragoon. The bill was $80 but they deliver and charged my card $100. The chicken was dry and tough and grisly almost as if the ran out of chicken and fried whatever they use for filler. The crab ragoon had no cream cheese and looked like catfood on the inside. The entire order was inedible and when we called to complain they refused to replace or refund the order. After a second call they said they would refund the crab ragoon almost as if they misunderstood what was wrong with the chicken. Also that they would have a talk with their cooks and correct them somehow. A lot of good that would do but hey who knows. All i know is me and my brothers will never order from them again!!! Avoid this Place read more

Much smaller portions than other places around (didn't know they made rice containers that tiny!) and also really lacks on flavor. It misses on every mark.... What a waste of $30. Better options out there, hard pass. read more

Our go to place for Chinese. NEVER AGAIN worst food ever 37.00$ down the drain general so chicken was tuff grisly and seemed to be pork. Fried rice was so dry and tacky had no flavor and the crab ragoon was by far thw worst. We will never waste our hard earned money. I would have gave -s but you have to pick 1 or your stuck read more

I Had ordered a large fried rice, large crab Rangoon, four egg rolls, a large order of sweet and sour chicken. The women who answered the phone to take the order was rude, the delivery male was rude. The crab Rangoon was not done right, the egg rolls were over cooked, the sweet and sour chicken was mostly breading. When I had called back to let them know they were rude and didn't want to give a refund or resend the order cooked properly. I will not recommend any friends or family to go there! read more

China Garden is usually my go to, but my car broke down and when I ordered through grubhub they seemed to have double charged me and didn't give me the sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour chicken and absolutely no silverware or condiments at all and when I called to complain they hung up on me. I am sick of everyones shit. read more

I have called this place several times and now when I call since I ask for delivery they raise the prices and try to charge me more the guy that runs this place is Chinese and he thinks since it is delivery that he can raise the prices and try to charge more just because it's delivery the PRICES are on the menu AVOID his place at all cost read more

Just want to let everyone know this is the WORST place to order delivery from if your paying with cash. We waited over 2 1/2 hours for our food..WHICH NEVER CAME AFTER MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS all Management could say is "WE SO SORRY" We have ordered multi times paying with card and have had no problems. They seem to think that they have soooo much business that customer service is no big deal and bad 1 review or yelp post won't hurt their business. They must not know that word of mouth can be their best or WORST or BEST advertisement. read more

We loved this place when we lived in the nearby neighborhood and still do even though we now live out of town. The Crab Rangoon, Chicken Fried Rice, and Sweet And Sour Chicken are so good that we consider them gourmet quality. We enjoy this style of Chinese so much that we decided to make sure and treat ourselves to a visit at least once a month. read more

Good food. Nice staff (Delivery). Before you order delivery make sure it's a minimum order of $15. Food was fresh and hot upon delivery. I ordered Crab Rangoon, Fried Dumplings and Sweet and Sour Chicken. No complaints other than the sauces had a heavy vinegar taste. read more

The service was not good. I ordered online and when I received my food parts of the meals were missing. When I called to tell them I had items missing they asked me to come pick them up. I explained I could not and that is why I paid for delivery. They said they would send the driver with the missing food. I waited and finally received my missing food after an hour and twenty mins. We already ate the food we got. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

Horrible customer service over the phone. The guy was incredibly rude and hangs up after asking if I was going to pay cash. ZERO STARS!!!!!!!! read more

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered delivery as we were out of town. Had to call back 4 times because it had been almost 3 hours at this point. Kept being told food was almost there. Finally got food which of course was ice cold and their only offer was to refund $2.74 of my order. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I ordered the wrong restaurant on Door dash. They sent me there. I was watching the puter to keep an eye on it during the game. It was set to be delivered at 7:15 it Arrived at 7:18. Pretty Good. So I opened it. The egg rolls were Fantastic and Crunchy same with the crab rangoon for some reason I lost two of them. they make them like lil Tacos not the Flower. Pork fried rice is tied with Gracies But garden had more meat. Beef Lo Mein was smokin excellent Noodles and Plenty of Beef. Not large containers But still competitive. And yea I had the rest of the crab Rangoons for Breakfast and Beef Lo mein and Fried rice for Lunch. HTH! read more

Ordered delivery from them. They charged my card. Waited a while. Called me back saying they can't deliver it. Refuse to refund my money. When I call back, the OWNER just hangs up repeatedly. If I could give them zero stars; I would. Update- they eventually delivered it. It was immediately thrown away... as my trust in the product was immediately compromised. We recently just moved to the area and order a lot of Chinese delivery, so the jokes on them. They lost a lot of future money. read more

We ordered a delivery order, which they said would take 45 minutes to get to our workplace. About 5 minutes later, I called back to ask them to include soy and duck sauce (as I forgot to mention it when I ordered). The owner answered and after asking him to include soy and duck sauce, I couldn't quite understand what he said, thinking he said he would transfer me to who I ordered from. I waited a moment after the phone sounded like I was put on hold, then the call dropped. So I called back, thinking I just got disconnected and told him that I thought we got disconnected... He was very rude and yelled at me saying "I TOLD YOU THE DRIVER IS ON THE WAY AND I CANNOT ADD TO ORDER!!!!!" He was extremely rude and yelled in my ear, then hung up on me before I could tell him I simply misunderstood what he said, and try to apologize for the misunderstanding... I called back one last time to tell him that he was rude for yelling at me and hanging up on me, and I will never order from his place of business again. I genuinely mean it. I would rather eat chicken feces than eat there ever again after the way he treated me on the phone. read more

China Garden is one of the only Chinese take-out places located in central Evansville. When I went there, I ordered the General Tso's Chicken dinner combination, which was moderately priced and came with pork fried rice and an egg roll for around $7.50. The meat was dark, but fairly tender, and coated with a sweet sauce. The pork fried rice was yellow as opposed to brown, and appeared to have fresh vegetables in it. The egg roll was nice and crisp, not mushy. All together, I was satisfied with my meal. China Garden isn't a place to go for a date or a dinner with friends, but it is a good spot for to stop at for a bite to eat on the way home. read more

We used to love this place; good food, fair prices. They blew it tonight. They screwed up an order, gave us the wrong thing. Not a big deal, but their handling of it was horrible. Made us drive back to get the replacement (told us for them to deliver would be forever due to the line in front of us); made us return the screwed up item (so we have nothing extra at this point, and are in the hole with an additional trip to their restaurant). And to top it off, the replacement item was screwed up as well. When you screw up, you need to own up and give some kind of credit to the customer. We were net negative even if they got the correction right; but they didn't. Need to find a new joint. read more

I call to place a delivery order its 220pm and they said they don't sell lunch special after 2pm its not 3pm

After taking my order and address , which is 5 miles away, call me 30 minutes later to tell me they cannot bring my food. Worst chinese delivery ever. read more

i will never, ever , ever, ever order or come to china garden again! we have ordered many times from this place and every time the man on the phone is beyond rude!!! we pay with our cards sometimes and cash others. the man who answers the phone i either lazy and will not take a cc payment on some days or just rude and wont do it. i called back to speak to a manager and he advised me that he was the manager for this call and would not transfer me to who was in charge. he told me that they neve know when a manager or an owner will be in the restaraunt, but that he would take the complaint. i am not sure thats how it works but i continued to make my complaint about him to him, but he doesnt care. food is good but they have lost at least 20 peoples business due to the lack of customer care and service. rant over for now. rudest man i have ever met!!!!! there is not a star given. zero stars for him!! read more
