Some seem very suspicious as if they were created by the same person under different account names. Let's face it, this area doesn't win any awards for diversity. Yelp for food and you get a dozen Pizza options in the area. The food options are pretty basic. To have a small business like this working against many odds to succeed in such an area should be commended rather than mocked. The food has good flavor. You can see the kitchen area clearly and it's clean + organized. This place is focused on take-out now. They give you an estimated pick-up time and they're usually on-time. The price is fair, all things considered. Customers don't realize how much food costs have risen. Rent and overall overhead is more expensive. Menu items are more expensive than what they were 2-3 years ago. That's just how it is. Get used to it, don't blame a small business. Tell me why I ordered from China Fun in Lopat after just getting home at 7pm from going for surgery at 10am this morning. Having eaten and starved I order from DoorDash. It comes one meal and soda is missing. I simply call to let them know and the man is arrogant and nasty and blaming door dash. I call the dash driver who is extremely kind and even explained he asked the staff if the soda was in the bag because it did not look like it would have fit in the bag that was waiting. All the menus still have their old prices, website not updated. etc etc. When questioned all they say is new prices costs went up. Like the 2 other reviewers, I'd say decent for late Sunday take out when you've got nothing left in the fridge, but nothing at all special. Hot and sour soup was good. Ribs were too saucy. I prefer my Chinese style ribs broiled and left at that, but through the open kitchen I could see the ribs being wokked with the sauce glopped on in the wok leaving them too saucy and sweet. Also, the pork in black bean sauce had very little black bean sauce. Not sure what was going on there. Shrimp in spicy sauce was just OK. On the upside: Price was reasonable. Fed 7 people for $54 plus a free 2-liter soda. Very quick service. Probably be going back because of limited options, but if there's anyone out there who wants to corner the Chinese food market from Philipsburg to Clinton, NJ, it's WIDE open!! read more

Since moving to the area, this has been the go to spot for chinese food. The place is clean and they're pretty quick. Typically a take out spot, but they're a couple of tables if you want to dine in. They never messed up my order, so thats always a plus. Im not a fancy chinese eater like some people, so I just stick to the basic, pork fried rice and chicken wings. I add a fried egg to the order for a lil more flavor. Rice is always tasty and the chicken is always well cooked and crispy. We order from here fairly regularly because they're close and convenient. The food is typical American-Chinese take-out with a few Westernized Japanese additions, but there's nothing that sets it apart from any other Chinese take-out place in the area. The food is hit and miss. Most of it is on par with other places, and indeed, they seem to purchase their dumplings from the same supplier as every other area restaurant (thick, doughy skins and all), with a few exceptions. Their Kung Pao Chicken is terrible: pea-sized chunks of mixed vegetables and rubbery chicken in an insipid, watery sauce. Their General Tso's Tofu is amazing: firm-tender triangles of deep-fried tofu in a thick, fragrant, pleasantly sweet sauce. It's even better if you ask them to make it extra hot. Their Egg Foo Young is puffy, tender, and flavorful, but the Hot-and-Sour Soup has so much cornstarch in it that it is actually slimy. Usually, though, I order the vegetable dumplings. They are a little on the bread-y side, but they are cooked well and are never waterlogged. And they have them! Most places in Northwestern NJ do not. Most importantly, delivery is fast and accurate.
