I'm rating this restaurant for what it is, a Chinese takeout restaurant. And for that, it has very good food. I have eaten their food on multiple occasions and I have never been disappointed. I have tried multiple different dishes from the menu and all were delicious. With each item on the menu you'll get an ample serving and if you order a chief's speciality, you will probably have enough for two meals. If you're looking for good Chinese takeout, you can't go wrong here. read more

I had something tonight that I can't say I've ever had before...burned Chinese food. When I got my bag from my dasher, I immediately smelled smoke but really didn't think anything else about it. We started with soup - me, hot and sour, the hubs, egg drop. Served with a bag of crispy wonton strips, the soup was fine - nothing special but a decent start to a meal. Since I ordered combo meals, each came with an egg roll. They were overdone - barely missing the line of being burnt. We ended up sharing one because neither of us was thrilled. Finally, it was time to dig into our entrees. We first opened the General Tso's chicken. The description on their menu says "...in a mildly seasoned sauce with broccoli." I guess two pieces of broccoli technically is "with broccoli" but a few more pieces would have been great. Upon biting into the chicken, I was surprised by how hard it was - the chicken was dry, not just "not moist" dry but dried out dry. Many Asian restaurants prepare the chicken for dishes like General Tso's ahead of time, storing it in the fridge until it's time to use. At that point, the chicken is thrown into hot oil to finish the frying. I think the chicken in our dish was stored in the fridge too long. It was not good. The meal went even further downhill when we opened our Mongolian beef. This is where the smoky smell was coming from. The meat was actually charred. I tried to eat it but couldn't get through even a few bites. My husband ate a small serving but didn't go back for seconds. Ordered from here through Postmates. Excellent food and quick on delivery. Spicy, flavorful, and food was warm when delivered. We got General Tso's chicken, crab Rangoon, wontons, hot and sour soup and beef lo mein. Will definitely be returning. read more

Definitely the best local Chinese place in Harvest. Love the fact that you can call up there and go pick up your order in less than 20 minutes in most cases for large orders. Dumplings are always spot on perfect. Lo mein noodles always perfectly prepared. and their staff is always friendly at the takeout window that's been put in place since COVID restrictions. Just wish that they had more of an online presence and could order through delivery channels, or at least an website with their proper menu items listed instead of a paper menu. read more

I've had better, we bought 5 different lunch platters and sesame chicken was the best. For the rest it all tasted the same with made no difference in the chicken lo mein, teriyaki chicken, and bourbon chicken. read more

Keep have been by this place many times. It looks not overly inviting. And they are takeout only. But tried it. Turned out good. Food was fresh. Veggies not soggy. Fried rice a little blan but I like lots of flavor. So will leave that as live with it. Human beef was flavorful and hot fresh. Surging size filled me up very well. My wife cut her thumb trying to open their disposable aluminum takeout tray. I felt this accident was unnecessary: Their order taker understood from the start that we were eating in. So, we'd expected that our order would be served on a dish. Our Cashew Chicken with extra Egg Roll was a little better than average. The wife said the food was excellent. However, she observed that the place needed a good cleaning. The tables hadn't been bussed since the previous diners. The restrooms needed cleaning. She even said their floor was dirty, and she was surprised the Health Department wasn't on their case. I think the health department rating on their wall said 83. I believe if the rating is below 85 they come back within a month to reinspect. read more

This is a very typical chinese restaurant with the packaged menu and the silver takeout trays. However, it's delicious when you are really in the mood for some yellow fried rice and greasy egg rolls. It takes about 15 minutes to get your order so if you're in a hurry, call ahead for takeout. read more

better than panda express && most every chinese place i've tried. their "seafood" in their "happy family" is all real..no imitation crab, scallops, shrimp all delicious..just goes to show how important it is to support our small businesses/mom && pop shops..i refuse to eat at mcdonald's anymore etc bcuz these fast food chains are 8/10 disgusting && don't care about what they serve you.. especially mcdonald's..i would not eat food that already smells absolutely nasty..china dragon is always yummy.. read more

This is a small establishment with typical Chinese American menu. No sushi bar. A few tables for no frills eat in. (Not a date night out atmosphere :-) Great for carry out or delivery. Food is consistently very good. Fast service and delivery. Cash or checks, no credit cards. We get delivery about 3-4 x per month. Have frequented for several years. My new favorite menu item is the house special soup. Great price, loaded with veggies and protein. Edit: The steamed chicken was my favorite until one busy night recently it was slightly under cooked :-( blah. If I ever order it again, I'll tell them to make sure it's thoroughly cooked. I'd scratch any other place off my list for that, but I can forgive one iffy meal out of over 200 which is why I'm not changing my rating. read more

There mongolian beef is the best. I order from here a couple of times a month. My son absolutely loves there chicken love mein and sweet and sour chicken. The prices are low and the service is always good. This is my go to place for Chinese food + they do have delivery. The lady who runs the restaurant is always delightful and nice. read more

Not much to look at both inside and out, but the food was out of this world! I grabbed a pint of Pork Fried rice to take the edge off before dinner and was floored! The order was loaded with pork bits through out, unlike the typical four or five pieces of pork on the top of the container, plus the taste was very nice as well. Good beef dishes include: Broccoli, Mixed veg, Pepper steak, & Mongolian. I hear the Happy Family and Shrimp lobster are good too. Pros: Most dishes good. Inexpensive (small plates plenty for 1 person for under $5, large for under $8). Small dine-in facility. Local delivery for a small fee. Cons: Pass on the Sweet & Sour - bland batter, no veggies, and super sweet candy-red sauce. If you prefer a sweet dish, try Honey or Sesame chicken instead. read more

We ordered the general tso chicken with the fried rice..... the rice was so bland we tried to put soy sauce on it (didn't help) we could get over that... but as we started eating our chicken all 3 of us found hair in our plates.... we called to let the manager know and her response was "ok have a great night" then she hung up the phone... ridiculous! The Food is wonderful, but they have a cashier that is very ugly on the phone. I've been looking for Chinese takeout that is as good as the old Wok Express in Five Points. A friend recommended China Dragon and said it comes close. He was right! The Food: Crab Rangoon (perfect), Mongolian Beef ( a few too many onions but great), Sesame Chicken( small little perfect size chunks...some of the best I've had), Pork Egg Roll ( pretty good but tasted a little like shrimp), Hot and Sour Soup ( yum! Doesn't have that strong bamboo shoot flavor like many places, right amount of heat). Fried Rice (saffron yellow, a little greasy, not enough veggies) The Service: Room for improvement. Other than the cook, nobody looked over 23 yrs old. A little training and more experience could be used. No greeting, no thank you's, no smile. The other concern was that one employee walked out of the Hookah Lounge next door when I pulled up, he smoked a cigarette and went straight into the restaurant behind the counter handling the food. He didn't stop to wash his hands or put gloves on. That was a little disturbing. If I was a little more particular I probably would've asked for a refund and walked.
