Ordered sesame chicken. Food was delicious. A couple of setbacks kept me from giving a 5 star. 1. A little pricey for the usual take out Chinese. 2. Air conditioner was set on 500 degrees. I think I was sweating while eating my meal. Too hot inside the restaurant. 3. Only serve bottled drinks. I drink quite a bit when I eat and refills weren't an option. 4. No plates to eat on. Had to manage by eating out of the top of my container as they pack all food in a "to go" container Overall, will be back, but will take good to go.

I give them a four because they're new, the food is very good, and the service is fast. My hesitation is that I did not see any public restroom. (If I needed a restroom, I would probably go to Publix, in the same strip mall. Restrooms there are in the back, to the right of the dairy case.) Asian House's business appears to be mostly take-out, although they have a decent dining area with several tables. I'm glad to see that the place has been nicely fixed up. E.g., the ceiling tiles appear to be new.

This was my first visit and the third for my companions. First off, heed the warning on the door to pull it open with an extra bit of force. Inside, the setup is simple, almost like a small fast food restaurant. Despite having a good amount of tables and chairs for a small space, most people place takeout orders. Because of my companions' experience in the past, we planned to eat there. There's no menu on the wall, so you have to pick up one of the takeout menus and order off that. The staff brought our food out to us. It was basically packed as a to-go order sans the bag to carry it all. We asked for small plates since we were going to eat family style and they didn't have any. We had to break apart a small styrofoam container to use as makeshift plates. I hope that this is a temporary set-up until they get settled into a routine and can start using dishes for dine-in orders. We wasted so many containers from our meal! We ordered the beef lo mein, shrimp and scallop hibachi with fried rice, sesame chicken with white rice and two orders of pork gyoza. The primary reason for eating there was because, on a prior visit, gyoza was ordered and taken home and didn't taste as good as they were fresh. I have to admit that the gyoza was good. All the other food was good too in the quick (and cheap) takeout Chinese sense. I overheard that the Yami chicken was like a Chinese bbq chicken. Perhaps I will try that next time. Drinks are purchased by the bottle - water and soda. The staff was very nice and checked on us many times. There are bathrooms in the back of the space - one men's and one women's. On a prior visit, the bathroom was extremely smelly but was pleasant during this visit. I noticed that there was plastic wrap covering the floor drain. The one last tidbit is to watch out for exiting the restaurant. The air pressure that requires a bit of extra effort on opening the main door is more apparent when you leave. The gust of air on exit could easily knock something out of your hands!

MORE SEASONING PLEASE! I visited this restaurant with my husband who wanted to "test the waters". I did not really want anything because the menu was a bit limited and I prefer to have my food served in glass dishes with flatware. When dining in, you food will be served on plastic dishes with plastic utensils. My husband decided to order the hibachi chicken with rice and added a side of spring rolls. It was a very generous serving so I shared it with him. The food was just okay. I would have preferred more seasoning and a variety of vegetables. The rice was more of a steamed rice but it was good, not greasy or salty. The food was edible, but I was simply hoping for something more flavorful that would make me want to return since I am staying in the area. This restaurant was clean and casual. The staff was very friendly and we did not have to wait very long for our food.

Best Asian food in our area. A wide range of food from tonkatsu to gyoza. Always kind at the counter and the food is always delicious.

The food is bland and overpriced for what you get. It's a shame because I was excited about trying this place.

Bland rice, one of the worst fried rice dishes I've ever had. I guess we'll keep looking for good Chinese food.

Food is ok. Redfish is better for Asian food. Redfish gives you 2x more food for the same price as Asian House. I won't be coming back....

The exterior alone is adorable! A traditional Japanese building with little figurines and even a large Totoro in the garden. It felt whimsical and nostalgic. I was seated right away and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, checking in without being intrusive. The owner even stopped by each table to make sure everything was perfect but didn't linger too long. I started with the takoyaki, and it was one of the best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and the octopus was tender. The sauce and bonito flakes were just the right amount. For my entree, I ordered the curry chicken katsu lunch special, which comes with a soup or salad. I chose the miso soup since it was cold out and it was absolutely the right choice. The katsu was perfectly crispy and paired beautifully with the rich Japanese curry. I especially loved the big pieces of mushrooms and onions in the curry. Before heading out, I ordered a lychee green tea with boba and lychee jelly to go. The boba was perfect and didn't get tough sitting in the cold drink like some places. 10/10 would go back and would recommend to anyone who is looking for an authentic and fun Japanese restaurant.

I know I was going out to dinner with my husband after work so I didn't want a full meal. Plus, when trying somewhere new l like to test the waters. Boy, was I glad I did. This salad is huge... and fresh! The iceberg lettuce was crunchy, and dressing delicious. The soup was also delicious, hot and generously poured. I highly recommend and I will be back!

Came with my family hoping to replicate the experience on Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm. Place was mostly empty and we were promptly seated. Ordered off the hibachiunch menu and wete brought our soups or salads. Took about 15 minutes for the chef to come out and start making out food. It was a much younger guy and he was not into it. He had an airpod in and was on a 9 way video call of some sorts with his phone on the food cart. He did a little perfunctory interaction with the kids and spatula whacking/egg balancing/fire column at the beginning and then just proceeded to cook out food and mutter into his call. Kinda off putting and definitely a much poorer experience than my first time here. My family liked the food -- we got steak and chicken, chicken, and shrimp hibachi. Portions were all very large. I loved my steak and thought the chicken was dry, veggies a little hard but my half Asian wife thought everything was good so maybe it was just my unhappiness with the chef. I'll probably try again, but maybe go during a more prime time when hopefully the better chef is cooking.

Kind of a hole in the wall place - seating is limited, one comfy four top and then a lot of stuff mostly designed for 1-2 people. The booths can hold 4 people, but it will be a tight 4. They will hand you a menu when you come in, but you will order at the counter when you are ready. Water and unsweet tea were self serve and free, they had canned Coke products (no Coke Zero) -- all the dishes were served in togo/disposable containers. Employees were extremely friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes to sample everything; shrimp katsu plate, chicken gyoza, chicken katsu, beef curry rice and tonkotsu Ramen. Prices are reasonable for Huntville - Curry or Ramen dishes are $15, Katsu plates $12, and Kids (Keiki) are $8. Portions were good and food came out quickly. Wife is half Asian and said all the food was food for the most part. She enjoyed her Ramen and my Curry. I was not a fan of the gyoza (might have been it being chicken and not pork) and felt the sear was light. Vegetables in my curry were huge, but that's a nitpick. Both my kids ate their ketsu and rice without complaint; chicken ketsu I stole was moist. Definitely give it a shot!
