Got takeout. The person who greeted me was polite and helpful. Got some egg rolls which were good, but the chicken and broccoli dinner was very odd! It had a slimy texture to it and no sauce/seasoning. As you can see in the photo the chicken is not seasoned and very WHITE. almost like it was just boiled along with the broccoli. It smells horrible in the bathroom, The food had hairs. The water tasted disgusting. The bathroom floor was full with Pee, the sink was yellow and had hairs, and the pina coladas smelled and tasted like fish. We came here for dinner on a Friday night. There were plenty of seats open. Its spacious. We were sat down quickly but had to wait for someone to give us menus. The owners were friendly and checked on us a few times. I ordered a few maki and enjoyed them both. They were fresh. I recommend the before 3 pm special posted as it is 3 rolls with soup for 13.99. Most of their business seems to be take out, and that's all I've had, though I want to eat in sometime. The food is good. Not great, but good American Chinese food. I've not had anything bad in any way. And the menu is extensive! Portions are excellent and the price point is even better! I mean, really reasonable prices! The service (for take out) is quick and efficient. No complaints at all. And while I haven't actually dined in, the ambiance is really nice. For takeout we tested their versatility: hamachi and spicy tuna sushi rolls, pad see Eiw, pad that, garlic eggplant, string beans w malaysian sauce and a mango smoothie for the kid. The sushi was first rate! We were surprised to think this is a new go to for that! We go to 312 sushi in chinatown for similar value/ quality. The thai noodle dishes were in line with other thai places to american taste, well executed. The eggplant was very fresh perfectly cooked, same for the green beans. We went during their soft opening. It was definitely very quiet in there; not only in number of customers, but also in atmosphere. There was no music at all. Anyone can hear anyone else's conversation. I definitely sensed some chaotic energy, which threw off the experience for me. When we were trying to be seated, there was a giant puddle of water under one of the tables that the host had pointed out to us. We were definitely happy to sit wherever, given how empty it was, but he insisted that we get that window seat. We were able to order our food pretty quickly. We ordered a Vegetable Chow Fun, a Spicy Chili Chicken, Salt & Pepper Tofu, and Moo Shu Vegetable. Everything was pretty mediocre. Well, actually, our Moo Shu Vegetable never arrived. It wasn't in their system, so it was manually added then subsequently forgotten. When our server realized it was forgotten, we said it was no big deal, but we'd like to cancel the order since we were already full. Our server then said to us, "What? Oh no. I could've made more money off of you!" Not the best joke, if it were a joke. The Salt & Pepper Tofu was stringy in a weird way. I think too much of the wrong starch was used to coat the tofu for frying. It was also incredibly peppery and salty, so it definitely required rice. We ordered smoothies also, which actually were the highlight of the meal. I really enjoyed my Mango Strawberry smoothie. I guess I am under the impression that a soft opening is a time to at least wow customers with the dishes so that customers can recommend the place to their friends! We ordered Mongolian beef and got Mongolian onions hardly any beef in there and the rest of it was so bad we had to order other food. I've ordered here three times -- takeout each time -- and I think my conclusion is that this is the best chinese in the OP/RF/FP area. They do more than Chinese but my family has not tried any of that yet. In terms of what we did try, what's impressed me most is the flavor. The latest was meal was Szechuan dinner (w/ lo mein and beef), crispy spicy chicken, and General Tsao's chicken. We got kimchi (ok ok it's Korean not Chinese) on the side, and they threw in egg rolls and egg drop soup for free. I expect very little from an extra egg roll, and it was shockingly good. The Kimchi was excellent The preparation is a bit variable over the last few orders. Tonight two of the dishes the meat was a little dry, but delicious. This was one of the worst sushi experiences in my 30+ years of eating sushi. There was no one in the restaurant which should have been an indication. The waitress said the A/c was not working very well and I should sit in the back. (She was right). I ordered all you can eat sushi as I was super hungry. The sushi that came out was so rice heavy I could not fit it in my mouth. The pieces of salmon/shrimp, etc were tiny. I had to scrape off 1/2 of the roll and left a plate of rice. The worker that delivered the sushi as it came out looked like a car mechanic with a dirty shirt and the same when the owner Felix came out, Dirty apron delivering food is not appetizing at all. I could not even pour out the soy sauce from the bottle it was so clogged. When Felix delivered the sushi he commented on the rice on the plate saying he would have to charge me and I said I could not even eat that much rice. I ordered 2 rolls and had a huge plate of rice. He admitted the chef was bad and that he would be let go in a few days. The menus are paper print outs and are dirty stained with soy sauce. When I told Felix that I could not even pour the soy sauce, another waitress came out and was wiping off the outside of the bottle not even cleaning the inside of it. It was bad from start to finish. I left thinking I hope I did not get tainted fish and get sick. The atmosphere was also very shabby and boxes and bottles on the floor. Chairs stacked up in the corner with garbage on top. It's so good. There is nothing I love more than takeout and this place nails it. It can be hit or miss with some menu items but overall it is delicious. I wouldn't sit in, it's not the type of food I sit down to eat. My husband and I were in the mood for Chinese tonight and decided to give this place a try. A little leary as past restaurants that have been in this location wasn't as great. We ordered the Mongolian beef, lLo Mein and Kung Pao chicken. All were very tasty and fresh but what was the standout was the Mongolian beef. Actually one of the best I've had in a long time. The Kung Pao could've been spicier even my husband agreed and he's not one for spicy dishes but overall decent. If you haven't been here give them a try. Great variety of dishes, and unlike every other restaurant I've encountered with such a wide variety, they seem to do everything well.

I stopped by for Valentine's Day, I had no reservation. When we walked in, the restaurant wasn't that packed, once we were seated, the server served us water and was really nice when she greeted us. She asked if we wanted anything to drink and gave us a couple of minutes to look at the menu. A few minutes later more customers started walking in, the restaurant was more than 75% full. They still managed to take our order and did not took long for our food, we had beef fried rice, orange chicken, special beef pho and the appetizer platter. Delivery was prompt. Some of the food was hot, some was not. I got some chicken wings, fried rice, and a chicken dish (General Tso's? not sure). And hot and sour soup. Most everything was doused in five-spice powder. I like five-spice in small quantities, but not when I can't taste anything else. The sauce on the chicken, baby corn, and pea pods was good, hot and sweet, but the chicken was over cooked and dry inside. The hot or sour soup was not spicy or sour, and good tofu but few veggies or pork. I finish the leftovers, but only because my fridge was empty. I'm so sorry! We ordered delivery last night it came fairly quickly and was hot and delicious! We got the dinner special beef & broccoli and Kung Pao chicken and both were very good. My only complaint is that I wish the menu indicated that the egg rolls have shrimp in them as I am allergic (and pregnant!) and had my husband not bitten into his first, it could've been bad. I usually check the menu first but it doesn't say it anywhere on there. My fault for not double checking but definitely something they should list on the menu! read more
