I've dined here occasionally over the years. It's convenient and easy to get a table. The kids love it, but let's be honest - it's over priced, cliched Asian fusion food; unimaginative and bizarrely made way too sweet. The restaurants decor and atmosphere is great, I just wish the food was better

Enjoyed sweet pickled red cabbage with sesame seeds, and the 5 succulent duck pancakes. Great way to spend Sunday afternoon Finishing off with a lovely sweet coconu sago with spiced cherries. Yummm

Tapioca ridiculousness !!! Eat this !!

Ridiculously amazing ... We had the banquet and were in heaven after the first dish. Will definitely be back again and again for the rendang. Ps must have is the tapioca dessert ... I don't even like tapioca !!

Wow! Amazing Asian fusion food - best shared! We love to sit in the front area, grab a booth if you are lucky but if not sit at the bar or on the shared table and take in the vibe. If you are wanting a more formal experience head out the back to the Shanghai 1920s themed dining room - but be sure to book! This place is expensive but we cannot fault the food or the amazing cocktails - go with the lemongrass and coconut sour. As far as starters go pick the chicken and sesame spring rolls and the mixed dumplings. For mains the green curry is delicious if you are up for something spicy or the sticky pork ribs are a popular choice. You really can't go wrong with your food selections here - but be warned the bill can creep up on you especially with a cocktail or two!

Ok food, very expensive and very loud bad 80s music while we were dining. A lot of hype about this venue but a very mixed experience.

Seeking a bit of fuel before an afternoon Bondi to Coogee walk, I stopped in at Harry's having…read moreheard particularly good things about their hotcake - I wasn't disappointed. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? The service at Harry's isn't what I would define as particularly warm, but the atmosphere is more than enough to build into a fond memory. I appreciated that, clear as day, there was a 20 minute + warning tied to the hotcake on the menu, so I was ready when that's almost exactly how long it took. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $16.50 AUD for what was a well portioned hotcake absolutely covered in berries and cream was reasonable, and the rest of the menu was priced comparably. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Before I get onto the specifics of the food shout out to what was a stellar $5.00 Latte that powered me through what would be my several mile walk to Coogee. From there, this was a very strong hotcake. The way it was grilled gave it a stellar sort of sugary and flavorful crust on the bottom that was memorable, and the berries and cream came together in a way that made it as much a dessert as a breakfast. Two Stars. Star 5: Would you be excited to go back? I fully understand why Harry's is known as a must-visit in and around Bondi. Star.

The girl organizing the tables was super nice, asking what type of table we'd prefer (inside/outside) and letting us know when one was available. She apologized for the wait, and was really friendly. We sat outside at a table in the sun, which was really nice in the winter. I ordered a soy capp and a vegan shakshuka, and my partner ordered an OJ and a chicken sandwich. My soy capp came pretty quickly, and the food arrived not too long after that. I was actually surprised at how fast the food came out, considering how big this place is. I was soooo happy with the vegan shakshuka, holy moly it was truly amazing. Good portion size - I left stuffed - and our total bill came to $41, which is amazing for Sydney standards. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something other than avo toast or an acai bowl for breakfast. I'll happily return! PS another pro - there was more than 1 vegan option on the menu :)
