It's a beautiful airport. I loved all the art displayed throughout the terminal, and I especially appreciated that they have a sensory room available. Little things like that make such a difference. Airports can feel rushed and overwhelming, so it was nice to see a space intentionally created for calm in the middle of all the chaos.

Fred Shuttlesworth the civil rights activist) when you walk in your baggage claim is downstairs and you get to the plane from the second floor. TSA pre check is offered as well as clear so if you have those services you can get through the airport rather quickly. You arrive to terminal C which branches off to the various terminals that house American Airlines. You see so many options and beautiful artwork. It's full of history and beautiful plants. The shopping experience is nice you have about four shops to choose from and many vending machines from hot noodles to cakes. It's a small airport but it has everything you need to make your travel experience a great one. They even have a sensory room you can utilize. All and all great time I would fly from this airport again.

But no worries because they have self service gas and access inside using the Unicom code which all pilots know. Inside there is an after hours restrooms with a shower. From the west, you will fly right over Auburn University before landing. There is no tower here, but the airport can get pretty busy with student pilots in the aviation program there. Also, I imagine that it gets pretty busy on game weekends in the Fall or if anything else of significance is going on at the university.

The staff, which seemed to be a husband, wife, and their daughter, we very nice and personable. The entire FBO was clean and had everything you'd need for a quick stop or a long rest. The lounge had some of the most comfortable recliners I'd reclined in in a long time. Fueling was handled with one of two trucks. It was done in a timely manner and the prices were right. Land here.

One man went above and beyond helping my best friend's husband who has had a stroke. Driving up to meet him, helping him off and on the bus...just going out of his way to help. REVIEW OF RARE TRANSPORTATION Event dates APRIL 26-28, 2019…read more It has seemed prudent to wait awhile before posting a review of my experience with Rare Transportation. The first draft was admittedly something of a rant; now that I have heard comments from our visitors and have had time to allow the entire episode to settle, I am ready to post. I selected Rare Transportation for our needs because it appeared to have the largest fleet of buses, and because other groups seem to have been quite pleased with Rare Transportation. In the beginning I felt that Peyton understood our needs and wanted to see that those needs were met. By the time the event happened, it was clear that was not the case. It is with regret that I cannot recommend it. There is a laundry list of complaints about the performance of the drivers and managers. Here I will mention only the most egregious one: no bus came to Embassy Suites Saturday morning to take people to the Botanical Gardens, in spite of a signed contact which included that responsibility. Peyton got mad at me because I pointed out various deviations from the agreed plans for Friday, and he vented his anger by cancelling the Saturday morning shuttle, with no notice to me of cancellation. That is simply not acceptable or professional. If anyone wants specifics on other problems, you may contact me. I can point out a number of details which bear watching, though there is no guarantee that they would be handled properly. It gives me no pleasure to post a negative review of any business. I have been here twice to see the Blue Angels. The first time was two years ago. They put on an…read moreunbelievable show. The first time I came I parked in town at a Kmart then rode a yellow school bus to get here. This time I drove as close as I could get and parked out in a field nearby to watch the Blue Angels do their show about a half mile away at this air port. In summary, I will come back to this airport to watch the Blue Angels. It is worth the long drive from Tennessee.
