This is a dumpy and busy rest area but since they are few and far between, it's one of the only options. Decent area to let the dog get out and stretch.

Large nice outdoor area. Easy to access from the highway. Nice vending area and plenty of room to walk & stretch out during a long drive!!!

    Super clean rest area

Super clean and convenient rest area! Staff were so welcoming and kind! Highly recommend stopping to stretch your legs and walk your dog!

One of the cleaner rest stops along I-65 between Birmingham and Montgomery along I-65. When ya gotta go, ya gotta go. And this was a good spot for it with spots for people and for doggies. The "U R HERE *" on the map in the building really sells it.

Clean restroom with cheap TP and paper towels stocked and available (most important lol) and plenty of porcelain thrones were available. Inside the building there are free maps and "Alabama Civil Rights Trail" pamphlets to take. There was a vending machine area, although I didn't check out their selections. Plenty of grassy areas to walk around and I liked the sheltered sitting areas to rest. Dogs aren't allowed in the building, except for service animals of course, but their is a good amount of space to walk your dog. We didn't have our fur babies with us for this trip, I wasn't paying attention if there were doggie poo bags were provided. It was still daylight, but I felt safe and that it was unlikely that I'd be murdered.

One of the cleanest rest areas that I have ever been in. The staff inside was both polite and friendly. But the oddest things were in the vending machines. Granted they were odd to me, but probably not to professional drivers: 5 hr Energy, Vienna sausages and Eye drops. I think these are probably necessary for the job.

I swear Alabama has some of the nicest rest stops! There is free information, free restrooms and so beautiful here. This is a great location to pull off and stretch your legs. Restrooms are big and clean as well as the rest of the facility. The vending machines accept cards and Apple Pay which is very convenient. The drinks are ice cold and snacks are in good shape.

There has to be a better place for the smokers pots than right in front of the doors! Who really wants to walk through smoke?

This time we grabbed the banana pudding and chocolate chip cookies, and both were good. The restrooms really deserve their reputation. They are some of the cleanest you'll find at a gas station, especially considering how many people come through them. We were just passing through, but we're always pleased when we stop at a Buc-ee's.

I really appreciated that they even provide disinfectant and cleaning products so you can wipe down the toilet seat before using it--a small detail that shows they care about cleanliness. The selection of food and drinks is outstanding. Whether you're looking for hot meals, fresh sandwiches, cold grab-and-go items, snacks, or desserts, there's something for everyone. The coffee station is impressive too, with so many creamers, flavors, and toppings that you can customize your drink just the way you like it. I also loved the fresh roasted nuts--warm pecans, cashews, and other varieties that smelled amazing and tasted fresh. The store itself is huge and well organized, making it easy to browse without feeling crowded. As an EV owner, I was especially happy that I could charge my Ford F-150 Lightning while taking a break. Being able to recharge both myself and my truck in one stop made the experience even better. Overall, Buc-ee's is much more than a gas station--it's a clean, convenient, and enjoyable travel stop. If you're passing by, it's absolutely worth stopping.
