The hotel itself is a bit older (some peeling paint/wall paper) in the room, but it was clean, the furniture was in good condition and the linens looked fresh. It was such a relief. Very thankful for the kindness and professionalism of the staff here. They were willing to help me out of a nightmare. I did not end up staying here after all, as I had another opportunity- but I absolutely would have.

After a long day of traveling, we arrived and left in tears. It was absolutely foul. I called the Holiday Inn, traumatized, and they were able to get us a room. The hotel is 100% non-smoking, bright, clean & fresh smelling. The staff was wonderful, particularly the manager. She was hands on and her presence was known. The breakfast was plentiful and well managed. Clean environment, well stocked. My kids ate like royalty (lol.) The rooms were clean and in good order as well. Linens looked fresh. A/C was crisp.' My kids loved the pool! There was a fire alarm while we were there, and after a brief evacuation we went back inside...The next day the manager found us at breakfast and gave us back my daughter's iPad- that we hadn't even known we lost outside during the evacuation. One of the employees had turned it in. Which shows how honest and cohesive the team is here. My only feedback would be to add more washer/dryers. There is only one laundry room we could locate, with only one set of washing machines. And we had to wait several hours for it to be free, the night before we had an early flight. Thank you Holiday Inn for fixing our nightmare, sleeping in your clean and safe environment after what we almost had to endure was such a relief!

There was a hand written note and envelope left by the maid that said "please don't flush paper towels down the toilet, and leave your tip in this envelope." Mind blown. There are only three hotels in this town- and this is definitely the WORST. I went right over to the other two afterwards and checked their rooms before booking. This was the bottom of the barrel for sure. Do NOT make the same mistake I did. Only positive, the woman at the front desk was very lovely. She needs to know her worth and find work elsewhere.

My son is in the Army and when he gets to come home and visit, we put he and his wife at the Hampton Inn. We've had several issue with reservations and the lack of apparent training of the front desk staff; but I feel I need to bring up our experience this week: 1. Sunday, 1 June - I check my son and wife in, asking for a room from Sunday to check out Wednesday. It took the front desk person about 15 minutes to figure out how to do that and she eventually got help from what appears to be the housekeeping manager. 2. Monday 2 June - (I paid for the room), I get a call from the front desk asking why there is luggage still in the room. I replied that we got the room through Wednesday. Front desk person had no idea what to do and had to call me back about an hour later. 3. Meanwhile, they get locked out of their room and once again the front desk person can't get them another key. 4. I get the call back from the front desk person who tells me that they can stay tonight (Monday), but will have to check out and back into another room on Tuesday as the room they are in is reserved for Tuesday night. 5. Tuesday 3 June - I go to the front desk to recheck in for Tuesday night. A different front desk person can't handle this and has to call someone to help. After 10 minutes, she says we don't have a room for Tuesday night and there are no rooms available. So now I have no place in town to put my son and his wife. 6. This is either complete lack of training or incompetence by the front desk staff or each front desk person was not being truthful just to get me out of the way. Regardless this is really unacceptable and has really put us in a bind. I'm going to have to send my son 30 minutes away to get another hotel for tonight and I can assure you it won't be a Hilton brand. I worked as a front desk and a night auditor for hotels while I was in college and these tasks are not rocket science. Bottom line, this is extremely disappointing and inconvenient.

The woman who checked us in made no mention of a pet fee or it being in cash and hotels. Com made no mention of a pet fee. My partner and her got into it about the need of it being in cash and him not having cash. Barb was very rude and unwelcoming. She treated us as if we were criminals or low down scum. It was disheartening. Also, upon fighting over getting a receipt over this supposed fee, she gave us a receipt that had the wrong credit card on it. It states the last four of a card we do not have as well as the type (Mastercard). The receipt we got for the fee was not very official either. This shows how unorganized and unprofessional this place really is. I guess that Tatiana was correct about her rating in 2015. Nothing since has changed apparently. From the professional and friendly staff, good morning breakfasts, and location, it's worth considering for an extended stay. Be aware, they are upgrading rooms so the hallways may not have carpet and you may hear some construction noise during the day, but not to worry, your sleep will remain undisturbed during the night. Great decent sized gym with equipment and dumbbells to maintain your workout. Plus: * Professional, friendly and caring staff. We wished to move our room so we will not be facing the parking lot; without any questions, they quickly moved our room. * Gym - great set of dumbbell 5-75 lbs, threadmill, Ellyptical, Pelaton bike, kettleball, etc., outdoor pool + basketball * Location - off of busy 280 in Inverness - easily able to drive to any restaurant, store, location in the area...all dependent upon the time of the day Minus: * Actually will become a PLUS as they are renovating rooms to make them more comfortable The Homewood Suite brand provides a home away from home as there is a small kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. The Inverness property adds to the Hilton brand with it's great staff and location. Definitely worth considering when staying in the area.

Our sheets were not cleaned crumbs and hair on sheets and bedding was old rough and extremely worn. Our room appeared "cleaned" with tucked sheets but it really was not. I reached out via the chat in the app and that did not work no one ever responded. The elevator is down so you have to hike to the room if you are on the opposite side of the building. There's a sign that says it's broken. The hallways are dirty crumbs debris candy in floors. They have major construction going on the first floor on both sides of the buildings. It shouldn't be open and they shouldn't be accepting guests. Also asked for late check out as a Silver Elite and was told they had given all the late checkouts out as only allow 5 late checkouts out of 95 rooms for the entire hotel! Which means they do not allow them and only 5% of rooms are eligible for late checkout. They do not honor elite members. Based on the construction and some rooms you can see furniture being stored in the rooms, I'd guess they are operating on reduced capacity as well. Operations wise the hotel is a mess and should be closed until they can get it together or close out parts that are very bad shape.. I do not recommend. Was told there was water leak issue the reason one part of the building was under construction. The other part I'm not sure what the issue was. Our room was missing a light the microwave didn't have a light so it's dark in the living area. The suite should've never been rented out. I do not recommend this hotel when it was 400.00 for one night. It was not clean, under construction, service awful, and just not worth the cost. Find another place to stay!
