For the price its really worth coming here. Its fantastic and fun. S and I came here for the day trip and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. We did the corn maze. the maze 1 was quite challenging. Maze two was a bit easy (except we kind of cheated a bit with the map). We also did the tractor ride and I have to say its a very great experience. Its not like we get to do tractor ride everyday. Also they have a pumpkin toe area, **blush blush. There is also putting area for kids. S beat me in the putting area but that means I will need to train and improve at home before we play again. There is a petting zoo but we didn't get to pet any animals. You get to look at them. Still fun. You can also rent fire pit here and this includes wood as well. This mean you can make snores. I like snores over camp fire! Not to forget there is a pumpkin patch area. I think we came a bit too late and all the big ones are gone. But its ok, I threw away my carving knife so I didn't get a pumpkin. This place is quite fun.

    Somewhere in the maze.

To answer the obvious question, I went here because I was already attending an event in Chilliwack, and had a 2 for 1 coupon. A corn maze, at night, in Chilliwack, in pouring rain, away from a pub on a Saturday night might not sound like something I, or anyone would want to pay for, but I can only say one thing: A-'MAIZE'-ing. This was too much fun. And the rain and darkness made it even better. The entire maze was a muddy slop, 6 inches deep in some places. Luckily I brought my rain boots, but those boots, and my jeans were covered in mud well above the knees. There are two mazes to choose from. They estimate that one takes 45 minutes and the other takes 15 minutes, and that's pretty spot-on for timing. In each maze, there are clues along the way which present you with a left or right option at a series of skill-testing questions at strategic forks in the path. Throughout the maze, dead-end corners, neverending roundabouts and invisible voices from mere feet away lead you into a disorienting adventure. The scale of it is hard to comprehend when you're in it, but look at it in Google Maps, or on their website, and you'll notice the clever pattern, a message, and logo carved into it. Hint: It's all for a good cause. Better still, wait until after you've completed it and then find out how much ground you've covered around this farmland. Get dirty! It's fun! If you have kids, they'll love the pedal-cart track, petting barn, giant jumping pillow, hay bale maze and an upstairs hockey rink/basketball court in the barn called the NHL (National Hayloft League). When all was done, I was soaked, muddy and grinning from ear to ear. I only wished they had roasted corn on the cob or something to end the experience right. 28/30: #30DaysOfYelp

Deserving of an updated 4 star review for still bringing amusement park fun plus mini golf, haunted…read morehouse, midway games, climbing wall and concert entertainment to the city in 2025. I had a blast on their thrill rides such as the OG wooden roller coaster which was built way before we were born in 1958...yup, its age does add an extra rocky and spooky element when you are on this ride. Their mini golf course was cute and with enough challenging designs for family fun. Hole in one at hole 16 and 17 was a thoughtful and encouraging design too. Paid parking available and free street parking is possible if you park further away. Staff is overall quite friendly. Vendor foods' costs are of course usually higher at an amusement park but hot dogs, burgers, pizza, donuts and cotton candy are the standard food options at an amusement park. Tips: Recommend to visit on a less sunny or even cloudy day to avoid the heat while in lineup. Do bring a hat or sunscreen on sunny days and stay hydrated. Look for online promotion when buying admission tickets for better value and please don't compare Playland to Disneyland. I chose to visit Playland when PNE is not open for less crowds and spent about half a day there. Put your hands up on the rides and scream for a good time :)

Attended the PNE summer fair this year on their very last weekend! I love their summer fairs, but…read morethis time I thought their food selection was not as good as last years. :: Pig racing - they had their petting zoo open which had many farm animals and a pig race! We were so excited for the pig race, we dropped everything to make sure we make it. However, we were pretty disappointed... the race was for 20mins in total but we only got to see the pigs for probably 1min. They only did two races. The space was also very tight so it was hard for people to see, on top of that, there was no ventilation so it got very stuffy and hot. Considering this is a part of their summer fair, it would've been nice if they some water coolers or fans. :: Superdog show - hands down best part of the fair!! The show was for 30mins and we got to pet the dogs after which was amazing. The show itself was very humorous and had lots of fun elements. Now the food - :: The Tochi YVR flights were amazing, 5/5 would recommend (especially the coconut one) :: Slush Zone - we got their slushies from the Slush Zone which came in funky bottles that looked big but did not hold a lot of fluid. You had to pay $2 to refill them which was not too bad. :: Shrimp Basket from the Shrimp Basket stall, pretty good! The Shrimps were fried to perfection. I wish they had the foot long fries, they were my favourite at PNE!! Hope they bring them back next year.
