What I love about Chilled Ponds is that there are two rinks, so you can go ice skating almost any day or anytime. They have different times so that different types of skaters can get what they want from their time on the ice. If you go to the free skate, expect to see a lot of people who can't skate well. They are a bit erratic, cling to the sides, and aren't paying a lot of attention to anyone else. There are also a lot of kids with those big bumper thingys. Chilled Ponds has a restaurant on site, so you can get a drink or a bite to eat if you get hungry. The bathrooms have tiny stalls with wide gaps in the door where anyone can watch you doing your business. So, I'd say it needs an update. Still, it has a family friendly, welcoming vibe. Tried to book a birthday party. They aren't responsive to email & don't reply. Called on the phone many times and the "party coordinator" is perpetually out of office. Was told they'd call me back in about an hour - never did. After I called many times, was eventually told don't offer party packages on Friday nights because that's somehow "not the weekend." Went to public skate on a Saturday. Long line to get skates. Once we got our skates on we got right on the ice. It went down hill from there. They have the plastic assist you can also rent. Looks like a plastic walker. The kids use them like bumper cars and try to run into people. I was trying to avoid all the crazy skating the whole time. I don't ever want to go back. I wish they had staff on the ice to make sure people where being safe. It was total chaos!!! read more

My first time ice skating ever! Very nice facility. It has two skating rinks, what looks like a recreational/games one and one for hockey practice. We didn't try their food but they had a lot of dining space inside and outside. Staff were very nice! Only draw back is that it was pretty pricey. They don't have any promotional nights such as family Wednesdays, half off Tuesdays or anything like that. They did do night lights skating or something like that where they turned off the lights and turn on colorful lights while skating. Pretty neat. Went for public skating on a Saturday and was disappointed with our experience. The place seemed like it was run by two teenagers- one at the front desk and one at the skate rental counter. They were not especially friendly or professional. They don't give you receipts for your credit card purchase (so I hope I was charged correctly) and there is no system in place from stopping anyone from just walking in and getting skates and going to the ice without paying. We needed to get a skating walker to help with skating and after waiting in line at the rental desk was told you had to pay $10 at the front desk and then come back and wait in line. Again, no system in place for them to know I actually paid for the skating walker. Anyone could have just said they paid. Once we were on the ice there was no staff in sight during the entire 3 hour skating session. I expected someone working there would be skating with us to regulate the teens who were smashing skating walkers into each other and skating recklessly. At one point someone spilled A LOT of coffee right at the entrance to the ice. I went to the front where those two teens were now sitting together and asked for someone to come mop it up and the help never came. The place is overall dirty and just mismanaged (or not managed at all). The only positive was the snack bar!! read more

I would give it less than one star if that were possible. The staff at the front desk is less than knowledgeable, if you can even find them. There have been multiple occasions that no one was at the desk. When we visited once, the girl at the desk couldn't put her phone down, or be bothered by us standing in line. When we finally got her attention, she was of zero help, and seemed as if we were a major disruption to her. The coordinators for league hockey are non responsive, with multiple attempts both via email and over the phone. It's a shame, really. They have a nice facility, but their staff is far less than satisfactory on many levels. Also, the pro shop has posted hours that they never operate by. Every time that we have gone, they were to have been open until 7 or 8 pm, and both times they were closed when we showed up at 5pm. If you want somewhere to get your skates sharpened, Play It Again Sports right in the same are offers a great sharpening service for the same price, also offering a rewards program. Overall, I'm beyond disappointed with this place, you would think that they would be held to higher standards as they are the practice location of the Norfolk Admirals, but I was sadly mistaken. read more

It's hard to give it more stars because it's missing some amenities. Chilled Ponds caters to a hockey crowd but has a small figure skating community. The food is great and they have an actual chef in the kitchen who's fantastic! There isn't a good off ice warm up area. The bathrooms are a very far walk from the rinks while the hockey locker rooms are near the ice. They offer walkers for beginners. The Zamboni doesn't do a great job of the edges of the rink and some ridges or untouched areas are left behind near the goal lines. The hockey lines are also faded. No wristbands or entry points necessary, just front desk and honor system in place for entering the rink. They could also use more benches for lacing up, most of them are against the hallway walls but there's a ton of open space in the middle. Hopefully they read this and see all the good and potential improvements to be made. Overall, great rink! read more

I have played pickup hockey, league hockey, sticks pucks, and open skating for several years at Chilled Ponds. My family went for open skating on Sunday afternoon. The ice was resurfaced prior to the skate but it was still a little choppy. The rink has rental skates. During Covid19 they require reservations online along with payment. It's easy and straightforward. The cost for open skating is $15 for the session. The rink didn't have that many skaters. The store and skate sharpening is not open on Sunday. Keep that in mind if you need skate sharpening. None of the vending machines worked but the bar restaurant was open. There are two rinks available. I don't like skating with a mask because it hampers breathing. Masks are required for open skating. read more

I brought my kids, niece and nephew here for a public skate to escape the heat. The woman at the front desk was very short with me and outright rude when I was asking her basic questions about skates. Maybe she was having a bad day so we got our rental skates and laced up headed to the ice. On the ice was a free for all. People going in all different directions and two older female instructors giving lessons and not paying attention to the other skaters on the ice. There were some skaters practicing who were oblivious to anyone but themselves. One of the figure skaters (late teen, young adult) seemed pretty unsteady and tried to throw her back leg up except dropped it and her blade came close to my child's face. Very dangerous and no ice monitor in sight. On top of the danger aspect there were groups of hockey players and teen girls hanging out in the lobby areas using terrible language loudly. It was very uncomfortable for a family outing with young children. read more

I love taking figure skating lessons here! Much better than the other rink I used to do lessons at. I go here 4 times a week and everyone is really nice and helpful. The coaches give great advice and they have great shops. The food is yummy, well atleast their fries are since that's all the food I have had there but great prices. I can't wait to try out their party packages for my birthday soon ! read more

Not even sure where to begin. The place is filthy. Perpetually filthy... I'm talking the carpet, bathrooms, seating...everything. it also doesn't help that the place is dark and dated. At least one ice surface seems to be broken at any given time. It is next to impossible to talk to anyone working there who has any clue was is going on. Phone calls or messages left for people in charge go unanswered or never returned. Nothing is ever on time. It is pretty evident that they know they have no local competition so it's like they don't even try. Your only other choice is to drive to Virginia Beach or Newport News. read more

So looking at Yelp reviews to find "the best" Ice Skating rink here in Hampton Roads was not all that helpful so I'm hoping this review will be - for a certain patron: This review is for "normal people" who just want to go Ice Skating - to take their kids, take a date, just do an activity that gets you out of the heat, etc. It's NOT about Hockey, Figure Skating, or anything like that. In fact, I think most of the bad reviews all of the Ice Skating places get are due to disgruntled parents whose child was benched during a hockey game, so-called "grown ups" bickering about coaches playing favorites, and so on. We just came to Ice Skate! I chose Chilled Ponds because it had: 1. Informative Website 2. 2 rinks 3. Pro Shop (not that we used it) 4. Attached Sports Medicine Bon Secours (not that we used it) 5. Training Facility for Norfolk Admirals (not that I care about the team) It's a little difficult to find coming from 64 and Greenbrier Exit but it's basically behind the Regal Movie theaters in the next complex over (the whole area back there is like an industrial park). Put the address in your GPS to help you out! It was $10.00 to skate for the 2 hour "public skate" from 7-9 pm on Wednesday night. Pro Tip: Check the website for the schedule. The public skate times vary day to day but usually there's a session earlier in the day (10 AM or so) and one later in the day (up to closing at 9). We were a touch early and had to wait a few minutes for the Zamboni to finish re-surfacing the rink. This did go over into the public skate time by about 10 minutes but it didn't bother me too much - 2 hours was plenty of skating time for beginners like me and my sons. There wasn't really any supervision - one figure skater opened the rink and turned on some music, so it wasn't like a "structured" or "organized" type of event. They opened the door, and we basically just got out on the ice and tried our best not to fall! Pro Tip: Your success and fun are greatly dependent on the skates - if they don't have an "edge" they will slide out to the sides too easy (or at too steep an angle). My first pair were like this on the left skate but I took them back and traded them for another pair as my youngest had to go down a size as well. The young lady from the front desk again helped us and traded them with no problem. There were very few people there - our group of 3, a couple of figure skaters, a couple of couples, and a few solo skaters. Some were basically Olympians, others spent more time on the ice than on their skates. So all levels were present. There were maybe 12 to 14 skaters total. Pro Tip: non-skaters can sit inside the rink area and watch - they should bring a light jacket and wear long pants. Skaters should wear long pants and good socks (the rental skates are very stiff) but we wore jeans and t-shirts and stayed plenty warm as long as you're active skating. Anyone who is likely to fall more might benefit from some gloves, just to keep their hands warm if they're constantly pushing themselves up from the ice. Non-skaters can also sit outside in the lobby which is "regular indoor" temperature. There is a refreshment area and it does serve alcohol. It was closed while we were there (which is just as well). As to condition - it's an Ice Rink. Not much to say. We paid money, got our rental skates, sat on the bleachers and put them on, then got on the ice and skated. Luckily, the music choice (which was just someone's play list I bet) was non-offensive and I actually liked most of the material, so it was OK. That was the extent of our involvement so I can't speak to the locker rooms or food service or anything like that. The lobby bathroom was clean. I went in in socks! The only thing is, since people wear skates off the rink, there are skate marks in the floors everywhere so in many places it's clear the type of floor material is something very durable, but it gets gouges and discoloration. But nothing there was really dirty or messy that we could see. As a parent of teenagers, I would say it's the kind of place where you should go with kids and observe (if not skate) one time before you decide if it's something you'd do a drop off and pick up for (unless they're going for a group party or people who regularly go). Besides, pictures of your teenager busting their butt can be good for all manner of embarrassment later. But it really is kind of "it's $10.00" and "here are your skates, go skate" - a very laissez-faire kind of thing. The staff are probably people who go there all the time as kids (Hockey or Figure Skaters) and end up getting jobs there as they get older - or at least that's who they staff it with on odd hours or for "less important" events. Kind of typical of Ice Rinks, Skating Rinks, Pools, etc. But we had a great time for $10.00/person for 2 hours. read more

Wow, I really can't believe the other reviews. My experience has been nothing but pleasant. Staff is great and friendly, the place is really well put together, and the ice is great. Out of every skating rink I've been to in VA, this is by far the best. They also host an amazing Pro Shop. The people behind Ice Industries are great and super knowledgeable. You can tell they love working there and are truly passionate. Again I really can't believe the other reviews. Maybe management has stepped up recently, or maybe they were unlucky. I am only giving this place 4 stars because my daughter enjoyed it. We came here for a kids birthday party. I saw the pricing for the birthday room and skating and my jaw just about hit the floor. It was something over $300. I love my kids, but that is good chunk of money for a birthday party. What I liked about the place was that it was easy to get to, plenty of parking, they have two rinks available and they serve beer. The bathrooms were really clean and I thought that it was cool that your kids could have a skating lesson while you get a bite to eat and drink. When we got there, they were having figure skating lessons. When I returned, there was a full blown hockey game going on. As a parent, waiting for you kid to finish skating with the party, there was plenty to do while they played around. My only hesitation would be the cost. I've been thinking about posting a review for a while now, but I was worried about the backlash I could receive from posting this. Below are just a few reasons why I do not recommend ever spending your money at Chilled Ponds. They do not care at ALL about figure skaters. If they didn't need the money that the figure skaters bring in, I believe they would get rid of figure skating altogether. I've personally been told by the manager that the freestyle sessions bother her. The ice is some of the worst I have ever skated on and I've skated on outdoor rinks in 60-degree weather. The Optima rink constantly struggles to keep its humidity levels right, so there are huge bumps on the ice from water dripping from the rafters. Their rental skates are rarely sharpened. Only one or two guys employed by the rink know how to sharpen the rental skates, and they were only given a quick crash course on how to do it. Also, they are probably about 18 years old, give or take a few years. Many have to be repaired and even then they are not supportive, which is not the best for new skaters to use. The quality of the skates is likely to cause ankle injuries, or even worse. The ice resurfacer, which is an Olympia brand zamboni, is constantly having problems and its blades only get sharpened before a showcase or playoff weekend for the junior team. It's not uncommon for the ice resurfacing to be running late, which, I admit, is typically due to issues they cannot control (such as a game running late). However, a couple weeks ago when a couple of figure skaters and myself realized the ice was never resurfaced for the freestyle session (the last resurface was at noon, it was now 3:30 pm and the next resurface was not scheduled until 6 pm). The maintenance manager replied "I'm busy" when asked if it was going to be cut. As far as we could tell, he was just replacing ceiling tiles in a back room. Meanwhile, the ice was dry, bumpy, and dangerous and they expected the figure skaters to skate on it. They will not give a refund/credit for any reason. Even if you did not get on the ice, they won't do it. I was an employee there and gave credit to someone because before they could get on the ice for a puck shoot they got a call to come to the hospital because their mother was in a car accident. When my manager saw that I credited their account, I was chewed out for it. The other rink I work at has given credit to people who got injured or never got on the ice. They are the only rink in the Hampton Roads area that does not have separate prices for admission and skate rental. At Hampton Roads Iceplex it costs $6.50 for admission and $2.50 for skate rental. At Chilled Ponds, it costs $12, even if you have your own skates. Although they do offer a military discount ($10), only those with a military ID will receive the discount. This means that if a military dependent has not yet reached the age to receive their dependent ID, they will not be given a discount if their parents already used their military ID to pay for themselves. If the people that work there seem like they hate their life, it's because they do. The ladies that work the front desk will get blamed for things that are not their fault and are never listened to by management. Some of them can also be very rude, cold, and completely disrespectful to customers. While working there, I suggested multiple things that I believed were necessary for the rink or could improve business. It took almost eight months after I left for them to take my recommendation of buying an automated external defibrillator (AED). The carpet in the lobby, which is the same carpet from when I first started skating there 18 years ago, is made up of patches of random carpet pieces. I wouldn't recommend sitting on the floor in the lobby. A dog left a trail of poop through the lobby and even though it was cleaned up, picking it off of the carpet only does so much. The locker rooms for the guest teams or men's league teams are in horrible condition; toilets won't work, the sinks are broken, and if someone takes a shower there will be a puddle of water in the locker room for days. I believe they have improved them some since the last time I saw them. The maintenance staff typically doesn't have time in between games to clean the locker rooms, so they can get disgusting. If you go on a busy Friday night, be careful because their skate guards are typically 14-16 year olds that typically don't pay attention to whats happening on the ice. Public skates are also super wild, unorganized, and a lot of times fights break out between teens in the lobby and even on the ice. The Junior hockey team always gets priority over everything else that goes on in the rink. Good rink? Theirs. Prime ice times? Theirs. Smooth fresh-cut ice? Yup theirs too! The boys are sometimes rude to the other customers at the rink (Figure skaters, coaches, and others) and they have a persona like they are more important than everyone else in the rink. read more

DISGUSTING LOCKER ROOMS AND BATHROOMS! I've been playing hockey here for several years, and the locker rooms are getting worse. EVERY locker room is frequently flooded from the showers. I don't think anyone could tell you the last time they cleaned the toilets or sinks in there. There's no soap, paper towels, or TP ever. NOT EVER! Recently, a locker room toilet was backed up for several days (at least) and it was left uncovered so you could see all the "mess" (or add to it, as I'm sure many did). A sink in the main men's bathroom also backed up for WEEKS, but was never 'out of order.' NO ONE CARES! The condition of the ice is usually adequate, but the ice needs to be cut deeper, or more water put down or something, because there are frequently deep grooves that don't get fixed with one Zamboni pass. The front desk employees are friendly enough, but when you have a difficult question, good luck getting someone higher up to return your message. On the last eight out of nine times I've been to the rink, at various days and times, the pro shop has been closed. I believe it's owned by a different company, so I'm not holding that against Chilled Ponds, but it's still useful information - don't go there expecting them to be open; call ahead. Wall hooks and overhead shelves in the locker rooms would be a great addition (I believe one locker room has them). I applaud the addition of adequate exit doors and new doors/hardware on the locker rooms. Baby steps, I guess? read more

I've been here a few times but I came recently with my wife and daughter who is almost 4 years old. She had never been ice skating before and I wanted her to try. First of all, the place always has something on the schedule being one of the only ice skating rinks in the Hampton Roads area. Between figure skating, hockey practices and games etc there is plenty so check the schedule for the public skate times. The rental skates themselves are as you would expect... Kinda old and a bit ratty. Oh well, my daughter got right out on the ice and had a great time! After skating for about 10 minutes she noticed some of the other little kids using a PVC pipe apparatus that looked like a small soccer goal with no net to help them stay up and balance. Long story short, you can rent those for another $5 and if it helps your child find a love for ice skating rather than hating your guts with a bruised tailbone all the better! This is a relatively clean, family friendly location that I'm sure we'll be back to in the near future. read more

I would pick up something before a game if they had more than fries and wings (btw, the parking lot reeked like fryer oil). Recently the owner of Chilled Ponds became part owner of the Admirals and has been transforming Chilled Ponds into a pseudo-Scope Arena with Admirals signs/posters everywhere. I sure hope some of this redesign money goes into something that actually matters, like the condition of the locker rooms or keeping the ice surfaces functioning. Step it up Chilled Ponds. read more

The public skate and birthday parties seem to be a tertiary part of the business plan. It took a month to get a party time because of hockey and figure skating. The kitchen ran out of pizza before our party even began. A kitchen staff member was walking around the complex carrying a ball of pizza dough. Theparty host was no where to be found. We go ice skating for fun not sport so the review is from that perspective. The place could use a good freshen up but who cares it's an ice rink and they did have ice. It was rough and needed to be resurfaced but it was ice. The reason for the one star is the condition of the rental skates. They have no edge at all. When I told this to the attendant she said the sharper is broken and they are all that way. She said the pro shop will sharpen them for $8. ( I already paid $12 to get each family member in) I sent an email to management and haven't heard back. Until they sharpen the skates I won't pay to get in again. read more

Parents were hogging them and not returning them. when I complained they should have rules on use of these devices the girl at the front rolled her eyes at me and when I asked for a manager she just yes we have one but never went and got them for me to talked to. I have a special needs child who had never been on ice skates and she need one of those carts and we couldn't get one and the staff didn't seem to give a crap. I have given CP a chance for almost a year now, and every time I run into a mess. First, the condition of the facility is appalling considering it's age. The bathrooms are a disaster, the locker rooms are disgusting and unclean. There is always water on the floor, TP and other gross items. It would take no time at all for the staff to run checks after teams leave the locker rooms. They don't properly care for the ice so it's usually pretty bad. Speaking of the staff, this is perhaps the most consistent let down. From the owner on down, no one really seems to care at all. Every time I enter, I am greeted with the "I hate my job" look by someone just going through the motions. I brought my kids to skate during a really busy open skate. The line to "rent" a helper for the kids, the metal horse that kids can hold onto and skate, was at least 10 minutes long as it was run by the same person handing out rental skates. Someone in line was waiting to return theirs and explained to me that they are $5 that is refundable when you turn it back in. So, I gave him $5 and saved us both 10 minutes of ice time. When I went to return it, I was told by the owner that because I didn't have a wrist band for it, that I could not get my $5 back. She accused me of lying and was just down right mean. Maybe if she bothered to notice I was skating there at that point 3 times a week, she would have known I was a regular customer. In any case, I was out the $5 and I certainly wasn't thrilled about the reason given. I don't understand why anyone would steel these anyway, all of them looked to be falling apart, like the rest of the place. I play hockey, and decided to play for a team there. I only ended up playing half of the games, and as per my prior experience, should be refunded the games I did not play. After speaking to the hockey director, she said she would look into the matter and get back to me. My phone calls to the cell phone she gave to me went un-returned for a month and the texts I could see her reading were met with the same fate. After calling from an out of town phone number, she finally picked up and said, she had just been busy. I was then told she herself was owed a refund for over 6 months and to take it up with accounting. I later find out that the accounting department is the owner, who also doesn't bother to return my calls. I have been skating and playing hockey for 25+ years and have never been treated so poorly. Stick to Iceland where the people are friendly and the programs are well managed with competent staff. read more

The metal push around little kids use to help learn to skate is an extra fee here! It is not an extra expense at other rinks and are readily avaliable for anyone learning how to skate! The learn-to-skate program at Chilled Ponds is a complete and utter joke. I had my little girl try out the program and what a total waste of money! It is poorly run by the current director Erin who allows unqualified kids to help in the program and is pushy about offering her services for private lessons. Although I am only a parent it is quite obvious to me that there is no proper technique being taught and no really high level skaters whatsoever. Go to Iceland, at least it's cheaper or even Iceplex. been going to the Pickup Hockey games for the past 3 Wednesdays. guess no one really plays on weds, but i'd say an overall OK experience. Nice hockey rink, and boarded well. Locker rooms are big and there's 6 i believe. Smells each time i go in though, but i guess that's what they're supposed to smell like?? I like pickup there 'cuz its spacious, but i wish it would be cheaper, i mean cmon 12 bucks for pickup and u bring your own pucks? not to mention the last time i went they didnt level out the ice with the zamboni. I like Chilled Ponds. I've been to the other two ice rinks in the area (Iceland and Iceplex) and I prefer CP over both of them. I play hockey at Chilled Ponds in the adult league and take the adult hockey lessons as well. The rink is pretty well maintained, the locker rooms are the best in the area. I brought my 13 year old daughter and 2 of her friends to skate on a day school was closed for a teacher work day. The lady taking payments and handing out the skates was courteous and efficient. We got there just after noon and there were a few skaters, but it wasn't crowded at all. The front rink was being used for hockey practice, so we skated on the back rink. We had fun and left around 2:30. It was getting pretty busy by then. We turned our skates back in with no problem. This is a great place to take your kids to get them off the couch and get them moving. They offer group lessons in 8-week sessions. They even have adult lessons. read more

Don't go there if you have a choice of another rink! Their party room is awful and the place is filthy and in disrepair. Management doesn't seem to care about the happiness of patrons either. When we arrived to celebrate a child's birthday we found the party room decorated with left over bits and pieces of different colored plastic sheeting (frayed, torn on angles--ugly!). Also, the closed off party room is so far away from the rink that parents can't observe their small children so it makes it uncomfortable to be there- and I'm not even talking about the freezing temperatures either. If it wasn't for one employee overriding her absentee managers poor decisions about accommodating us with another place to eat our cake and pizza we would have left the rink and taken our party elsewhere. Until management cleans up this place; makes repairs to walls, floors, etc.; I will NOT go back. This place has seen it's day. From all appearances, management doesn't care about their patrons and they don't have any pride in their surroundings. read more

This rink is very poorly managed. Some of the front desk people are nice, some act like they can't be bothered; very poor customer service. The girls that give out the rental skates are the same way. One of them gave my child a snarky comment & look when she verified the size of the skates. I was handed a pair of skates on which the laces had been clipped & you could barely tie them onto ONE of the hooks! I brought them back & told them the problem, she just grunted at me, put them back the shelf & handed me another pair, without a word & without looking at me. We have always gone on weekends, there is NO staff supervision on the ice....there were rowdy teenagers terrorizing the ice, skating at speeds they were incapable of, picking up ice & throwing it at each other (most of the time they missed & hit a bystander) but there is no one actually ON the ice to speak to about it. The middle of the ice, the area that is usually for more experienced skaters, is not marked in any way....even 4 orange cones places at the corners would be a good start!!! People just skate right thru the middle...many near misses with people colliding with someone doing a jump, spin etc & again...NO staff on the ice if someone gets hurt!!! The food is HORRENDOUS, save your $$$! The bathrooms are a MESS. They really need to step up their game! read more

We had our daughter's birthday party at Chilled Ponds last year and had a great experience, so we decided to have her party there again this year. This year's customer service experience was totally different. Check-in felt like forever. The line was packed up to the main door. I was advised they have a group of 50 that they didn't know about. There were at least 2 other computers and 3 young ladies behind the counter, but only one was checking people in. The pizzas delivered in our party room didn't come form their own Bar and Grill. We found out that their pizza oven is broken, so they had to order elsewhere. Things break, and the company had to compromise - we understand. However, we were given medium size pizzas. The pizzas that come from their Bar and Grill are larger than that! For a party package, at least. One would think that you will receive the same size pizza from this other place to make it comparable to what they offer in-house. WRONG! Our drinks weren't delivered, and I had to send my husband to track down our hostess for it. No staff was there in the public rink to referee or advise skaters to skate in one direction. There were adult skaters moving on the opposite direction ramming into other skaters. Not very safe especially when there are children around. read more

If you are wondering where is a good place to go ice skating, Chilled Ponds is a great place to go. It is located in Chesapeake, VA. It is awesome there. After you pay you can stay until it closes. There is a place where you can sit down and watch people play hockey or you can even pay to play hockey. On Sundays you can skate in the dark but you can still see. It is not that dark. You even skate with music. If you cant skate very well and can't balance, there are little balance things, but you have to pay to rent them. There are also vending machines. YOu can even have birthdays there. So as you can see, Chilled Ponds is really just a fantastic place to be. read more

I'm definitely a fan of the Chilled Ponds and think it's pretty cool that the Bon Secours patients can watch what's happening on the ice while they're doing rehab or working out. I really wish they'd go back to 2 ice sheets or keep the turf and go ahead and add a 2nd sheet like they are approved to do. I highly recommend. read more
