After a disastrous trip to Chili's at the Ft. Lauderdale airport, this Chili's did the trick to make us happy diners. We went to eat the molten chocolate cake, I haven't had this dessert in over 3 years and it was delectable in many ways. It was warm and moist with a volcanic chocolate covered dome with vanilla ice cream. This Chili's location is nice, it was my first time here but overall the company seems like they have improved their seating with colorful arrays of colors on the wall, contemporary style lighting and ziosk. Ziosk are computer tablets where you can order desserts/refill of drinks, pay for your check without having to wait etc. I like their strategies as a company to move forward with technology and stay relevant. The restaurant itself was not that busy at 6 pm but the floors were messy and slippery. We sat on one of the bar tables, our server was attentive and quick. We ended up getting the 2 for $20 which has one appetizer to share and two entrees. This deal has been going on for a few years now. The cheesy jalapeño fries were a let down, the cheese was over cooked and it had dried out. On to the entrees: Cajun shrimp pasta was good, the mango salsa and tilapia was decent but next time sauce on the side for that, it was a tad bit too sweet. Worst experience I have had in a while. Regular Wednesday evening. Had to wait 30 minutes for some Tex-Mex. Finally got seated (in the back by the bar) and for 15 minutes, no one said a word to us. Food runners and waiters passed by attending to other tables. My husband and I felt invisible so we walked out. Will definetly not return. read more

We went to have a late lunch today, around 3 PM. We arrived in the restaurant and they wanted to seat in the back area, where everybody else is sitting and it was very dark. I asked to please be sitting somewhere by a window, they said those areas were closed but they could put us in the bar area by a window, the seats are fine. The menu not so much this place used to be a restaurant with a bar. Now it's a bar with a restaurant. They serve bar food! And when I did pass by the area that was closed to use the restroom. Every table there was dirty! All of the staff there was probably 12 of them back in the kitchen, laughing and eating and cutting up! While the entire restaurant, looked pretty crappy! read more

We now know why the Chili pepper is relevant. Their Mexican food menu items are terrific! Fajitas and combo meals are plentiful and compete with any good Mexican restaurant. The only negative is their "green rice" which is dry and not very tasty. Ask for an alternative Glad this chain has revamped their menu!!! read more

With our last trip to the Fort Lauderdale airport Chilis being a complete disaster we couldn't wait to get back to Chilis so we could set the record straight. This was my first visit to the Wellington mall location and it did not disappoint. From the outside it looks as if they have redone the place and the inside has also been refurbished. The management has also kept up with the times and every table has a tablet from which you can order and pay for your meal. This is very convenient and using it for the first time I think more restaurants will catch up with this idea. Now the server is still a very integral part of the equation as they make sure your order is correct and bring it out immediately. We ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta and the tilapia as part of the 2 for $20 dinner and later as dessert even though we were full ordered the molten chocolate cake which was super delicious and made my evening. My recommendation: if you head towards Chilis and decide not to have their desserts you are missing out in a big way !!!!! read more

I go to this location at least 3-4 times per month. Last night was the worst experience! First, soup was brought out cold, but the bowl was feeling warm, not hot. I had the soup returned and heated up. Second, when I began eating my soup, my food was brought to the table. I asked to take back the entree to kitchen to keep hot. The male waiter said "Don't worry, it will only get a little cold". I surely don't want to eat cold food. Husbands ribs were over cooked and mostly meatless. He had his food returned. Thirdly, when I was ready for my meal, I went to the kitchen entrance because I was waiting so long and nobody was coming back to my table. I saw that my entree was being removed by a waitress from the microwave and then while not wearing gloves, she proceeded to tough my food with her fingers to feel and see that it was hot. Unsanitary!!! I told her that I can't have it now because of Covid. Spoke to 2 Managers about this and made them aware. Fourthly, our original waitress took our order and mostly sat down at the table near us taking another order and chatting with them, This was at least 3 times that she sat with them and never came back to check on us until it was time to pay. When I asked her about sitting at the other table and chatting so much she said"those people are my regular customers", so basically they are more important than my family and my table. The food at this experience was Horrible!!!! To see someone fingering my entree and sides during this pandemic was the worst! We will only go back, but we will only trust the waitress "ChiChi" who has been our waitress in the bast numerous time, and we never had a problem like this. I do own a restaurant in Broward County, I have my Managers Certificate, and I'm also a proctor for ServSafe. So I know how to run a restaurant the correct way especially during these times. read more

As a weekly customer, I can say that this is a really solid Chili's. I would recommend their Ribs, Fajita's, and my personal favorite, the Buffalo & Ranch chicken sandwich. (Which I mentioned in my original review.) Service here is top notch. We've gotten great service from Joey, Jarrod, Alex, and Ana (who is usually working weekends). The management here does an excellent job running things as well. Recently, this restaurant completed a major renovation, and it now feels much more open. Even if you are not a fan of Chili's or chains in general, I highly recommend this location. read more

I am not a huge fan of Chili's to begin with. The server was extremely slow, never bused our table when bringing new items. We had no space for anything. We had to ask for refills, when we could find our server. I got the margarita chicken. It had zero flavor and was very overcooked. My fiance got the fajitas, his chicken was also very overcooked. My experience at this Chili's lasted about 20 min total and in that time I did not see a single employee in the dining room. Entered and waited a solid 3 min before deciding to take my children to the restroom hoping someone would be at the host station when we returned. About 7 min later still no one up front so I took it upon myself to grab menus and sit in the bar area booths where there were a few tables seated and eating. 10 min later our presence had still not been acknowledged so we got up and left. In the time it took me to get my children back in the car I did see 3 employees outside smoking however so clearly it was break time. Unacceptable. read more

Chain or not, I'm a sucker for a Chili's and they can really vary wildly on location. This is a great location. We have been here several times and never had a problem. This one is clean, the service is excellent, and the food above average. They don't have a great beer selection, but their 2 for 1 happy hour all the time is pretty great. Disappointed. My family has been coming for years. We come at least once a week. We usually order the same thing but tonight was different. First, it took fifteen minutes before we even got drinks. Bad sign. There's about five waiters but the place is so packed, they're too busy to even let us order. After we ordered drinks, we went to order appetizers but our server didn't have his iPad, Sure, Okay. So he left and came back about FIVE minutes later. We ordered our appetizer with ease, which backfires, luckily. The server said he'd get our meals after. The appetizer comes and we order our starters and meals. The appetizer was fine until we checked the burger bites. They were not cooked. My family has health issues and needs it well done. We sent those back. We got them back but one of the burgers were missing, i.e. they gave us the bread but it had no meat or cheese. We sent them back, again. They gave us two fresh burgers, while we were eating our dinner. The dinners came out relatively fine except for mine. I ordered broccoli with mine but it came with green beans. I didn't get my broccoli for at least ten minutes. The server we had apologized to us for the problems we had but even still. This is an unforgettable experience, in the bad way. Some nitpicks were that my mother wanted crackers with her chili and had to wait about five minutes. We had to wait for most of our meal for one refill of drinks. read more

We were told we would need to wait 20 minutes for another server to come in. 30 minutes later, with over half the restaurant empty, we were offered to split the party up (no communication about this prior) we asked if we were able to put the tables together and were told no, we asked if we could sit together at a larger table about 10 feet behind it. We were told by the manager we could take the two tables offered or nothing. We chose to leave. If that's the kind of service we get from The manager the expectation for the servers must be through the floor. I had placed a curbside To-Go order and was given an expected pickup time of 7:55. I arrived at 7:50 and was asked by an employee my name for my order. They went inside and i waited patiently. The time rolled by and it was now 8:40 with no update as I watched multiple people coming and going with food in hand. I decided to head inside and get a status on my order. Upon heading inside a different employee greeted me, and I explained my situation. No apology for the wait, and I was given my food. Upon entering my car I already feared that it would be cold and my assumption was correct. I opened the items and every item aside from the side that was packed separately upon me entering the building were cold. I went back inside and asked for a manager, they had my food remade the only apology I received was from an entirely different employee. By the time I left it was 8:55 a full hour after the expected to receive an edible meal. It didn't seem like this was too new to the staff, an hour wait for curbside pickup and a terrible experience overall. read more

Went in at about 9:45 with my husband (they close at 11) We ordered our drinks, appetizer and entree. We ended up leaving at 11:15 and our food STILL WASNT READY!! Our server, Chichi was super nice, but the cooks and the rest of the staff were horrible!!! I would have understood if we went in 10 minutes before closing time, but we went in well before closing time and our food never came. We didn't make a scene and the manager (whoever he/she was,) didn't even have the courtesy to say sorry or anything. Go to Applebee's or Friday's instead! Had the best service I've ever had at a Chili's. My sister father and I went out to the hot air balloon festival in Wellington and when we were finished we wanted to go get something to eat. Our server Krystal was so great. She madE us smile and didn't pressure us to leave. She was very personable knew that we were having a family night. Great place to go with your significant other! Start off with the Texas cheese fries. The cheese is hot and melted on the French fries, which have their own nice little season on them! It's so hot they come in the pan itself and it taste so good. The mini slider burgers very delicious for an entree, because the bacon and cheese are so juicy. The patty itself has a great amount of juice and really compliments the saltiness of the fries and bacon. The chicken crispers with the corn on the cob taste super delicious if you're looking to get something casual, I would recommend those. Definitely get dessert but go for the chocolate chip cookie! It's a big, warm, soft cookie that taste so good when you bite it and feels likes it's home made. The food is good, this restaurant has good service too, we went today and we literally go out nachos appetizer in about 3 minutes. The cheese was nice and warm and it has black beans in them so it tasted awesome! It did have a little bit of Cajun in it so it had a little spice, so be careful because it's not on the menu. My steak tasted great and was super juicy! The asparagus has a nice touch of butter with pepper and salt and they tasted nice and crispy rather than soggy! Also the broccoli was your average homemade steamed broccoli.The TVs are big, it's not super loud like a sports bar, which I prefer! But it did have some football and other sports on so it was great to live it up on a Sunday night. The bathrooms usually smell good as well and they are updated to a modern style. Chilis has been hit and miss lately but the last two times I've gone it's been downhill. The food has no flavor and the salad I has the lettuce was wet and lumpy gross. Needless to say after the last visit I will not be going back to this location until a new manager starts. The cleanest of the place has not been so clean either sticky floors. Ah, it's so nice to come here between lunch and dinner. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant and I could actually have a nice early dinner with my mom. Our waitress greeted us and sat us at our table. We got the 2 for 20 deal. The cheese sticks were good and they brought us out a side of ranch dressing by request as well. We both got the honey chipotle chicken crispers that was oozed in a lot of sauce and I got the corn of the cob while my mom got extra fries with hers. I've been to Chili's from California, to South Carolina, to Florida, etc. Every time I visit a Chili's, I know exactly what to expect and they never fail to deliver. I've been going to Chili's since I was 10 years old and it has always been my favorite restaurant. I gave a two star review because the food was as decent as it can be for Chili's. I don't have very high expectations usually because I find their food to be overall flavorless and poor quality. However, I agreed to go with a co-worker after work last night. My friend got there before I did and sat at the bar. Big mistake... When I showed up, the woman behind the bar, who obviously hated her life and her job, walked over and said something to the effect of, "What do you want?" I didn't know at that moment what my beverage was going to be. Instead of perhaps telling me some things on special, she walked away. My friend had to lean over the bar to grab me a menu so I could browse the drinks. She finally came back and I gave my drink order. Now, I have been a bartender for over 12 years in corporate and unincorporated restaurants and there is one thing that I know to be true; Smiling gets you more tips and makes a guest want to return! We didn't get one smile from this woman. Not. One. Subsequently, I literally had to get the bartender's attention for every, single item we ordered or needed from our appetizer, to silverware, to a glass of water, and then the check. Mind you, she had one other couple at the bar the entire time and one man who was unfortunate enough to find himself in the same predicament we were in, sat down midway through our dinner. At one point, I heard him ask for some hot sauce and she shoved the pepper shaker at him! I tipped her 20% because as a former restauranteur, I understand that every day is not a great day. Maybe she's losing her house or her kid isn't doing well in school and she was distracted from properly executing her job. Now looking back on it, I regret my 20% tip that went to someone that was absolutely miserable and hate the fact that we practically served ourselves. Worst service without a smile. PS- Chili's, you can save your generic "We are sorry to hear that, please give us another try" response. If a store manager can't take the time to personally respond to your guests' comments, then I can't take the time to try your awful restaurant again. read more

Probably the worst and most unclean restaurant I've been to in years. I was a large party, 12 to be exact. The hostess sat us at not only a table missing chairs, but their was nothing but crumbs, trash, food, all over the floor. Their obviously was a highchair at the pervious table before us. We asked the hostess if she could sweep it up and she replies back with "well I was going to do it while you were sitting down." Let's be honest...
