We went to Chili's for dinner and were seated right away. The first table was too small so they accommodated us with something bigger. The waiter was friendly and told us about the specials. My friends ordered the drink specials and thought they weren't good at all. The dye in the drinks made them taste weird. Kinda like when you get a birthday cake with purple or black dye, you can taste the eww. Lol... But it was pretty if that matters. They all got the triple dippers, and I got the smash burger with fries and corn. I should have followed my gut and got the triple dipper to, because the minute I bit the burger the bread and the meat broke down like a bad relationship!! Yikes.. It was downhill from there. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, while I quietly struggled with mines. Lol. Omg. The corn was good though, as always. I also got complimentary chips and salsa. I've never seen a chip crumble the way those did. They were paper thin and couldn't hold the salsa. Half the chips ended up in the bowl of salsa at the bottom. Lol. I have never experienced that. We need more chip Chili's, because wth happened?! The salsa was watery too, nothing chunky about it. I spent less than $22 so I got over it. But the meal definitely could have been better!!! I'll go back for their chicken strips because their good.

This Chili's is located in the Red Mill Commons shopping center. You can see the restaurant from Nimmo Pkwy. There is ample parking available at this location and the parking is detached from the main shopping center. Things have changed here over the years since my original review roughly ten years ago. The inside has been updated since then, and the server that was not so good there (she was in the bar area) is no longer there as well. The overall vibe is still what one would expect at a Chili's location. I have generally been coming in here during lunch time. I have been taking advantage of the the unlimited soup and salad lunch menu. The food has been really good, and it has done well with not spiking my glucose levels as well, so that is a win-win for me. The service has been great since I have been coming back too. They are very attentive and follow up if anything is needed and such as well. Overall, things have gotten much better here for both the food and service. The menu is always changing, but there's always a good assortment of options to choose from. If you are in the area and looking for a place like Chili's, this location is totally worth visiting.

A strand of hair from my cup

The food at this Chilis location was far below average. I got spicy shrimp tacos and they tasted very bland. My order came with rice and beans which were both ice cold. Overall my party's food was cold and salty. So salty that the server had to replace orders. Our waitress really hounded my group about ordering food and was completely unfamiliar with the menu. The other servers kept bringing more food to our table that we did not order. Luckily none of the extra food showed up on our tickets. On the upside the staff was nice and they were able to accommodate a mid-size party Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was a bit dirty and worn down looking. I found a long strand of hair just floating in my drink. The music in the men's bathroom was playing at extremely loud volume setting. The ambience was very average maybe a bit below. I persevered through to the end of the meal and the best part was leaving.

White cheese dip. Not good!!!

I am so disappointed in what this Chili's has become. Before the pandemic, they always got my To Go order correct. But in recent years, my order is never right. It is always missing something that, of course, we paid extra for. This time, we were missing the extra tortillas that we paid for. The time before that we were missing the 2 extra containers of ranch. Also, the portions are smaller. We have been getting the mixed fajitas for years, so I know what the correct portion looks like.

Chili's have the best chips and salsa ever for $5 bucks.... I always come here and get their chips and extra cup of salsa to go. This is the only thing, that I'll eat from Chill's.. Their chips and salsa are better than any Mexican restaurant or grocery store Chips & Salsa.

They made some enhancements to the bathroom and dining areas, which really helped the overall vibe. The bar is large and has plenty of TVs all around the establishment, usually playing all the major sporting events you would like to see. They also have specials when games are going on and later in the evening. Food quality is solid for what you are getting, although the prices are on the high side. I would say that is one of the downfalls, but you also get what you pay for when other establishments are closed. It's hard to complain about that when you can relax while having a few cold ones, solid food, and entertainment on the screens, along with pool tables (and darts I believe) to keep you active. Once again, why we call Kelly's..."old-faithful". A solid place worth visiting, and I'm glad to have it for a "locals" spot very close to our neighborhood.

When you walk in, you can choose to sit at the bar, in booths near the bar or in the dining area so we chose to sit in the dining area since the bar can get pretty loud. The server came over to us right away to take our drinks. Their Pickle Fries are amazing so I immediately put in an order of those. I also decided on the Honey Habanero Burger as well since I was craving a good burger. The Pickle Fries were served piping hot and were very delicious. It didn't take long for the burger to arrive as well and it was cooked 'medium well' just like I ordered it! The burger was amazing but it wasn't spicy at all. When I think of a habanero burger, I think the spiciness would be prominent but the flavors were still great nonetheless. Overall, Kelly's has great food and drinks and the staff is always super nice! This restaurant always has a fun vibe, you can't go wrong dining here.

I walked in, and the entire room seemed to stop. People turned and stared. I smiled at a few of them, hoping to break the tension, but they just kept staring. I sat down at the bar and waited quietly -- five, maybe ten minutes. I had no problem being patient as I understand bartenders can get busy. But while I sat there, I watched her serve others, chat with regulars, and even tell one that she'd just given him some fresh drinks. She continued cleaning her bar but never once acknowledged me. Not even a "Hi" or "I'll be right with you." Then she poured herself a Red Bull into her personal cup, walked right past me, and struck up a friendly conversation with the man next to me -- loud and casual -- asking if he was "golfing this weekend." That made it clear: she wasn't going to serve me. As a BLACK veteran, that moment hit hard. This bar, with all its patriotic décor, made it clear that their version of "supporting the troops" doesn't include people like me. I didn't serve my country to protect ignorance or racism -- especially not from those who wrap themselves in the flag while looking down on others. This place can take their support and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

Our lamb chops weren't originally cooked to the temperature we requested, but the flavor was good and they quickly re-prepared them with no issue, which we appreciated. P.S: The server and host were attentive and nice, so the low rating is entirely for the food. My bf and I ordered a truffle fries to share, I ordered the Braveheart Ribeye with broccolini and risotto(forgot what flavor but it was cooked in a cream sauce), and my bf ordered the Ribeye Lasagna. The truffle fries: the fries tasted fresh but they looked like the b-dub fries. Comes with ketchup, which I was hoping for some sort of aioli for an upscale chophouse. The Braveheart Ribeye: The temperature was what I asked for(medium rare), but the char is straight up crispy brunt and bitter as if I'm eating charcoal pieces. I also ordered a demi glaze on the side, and that tasted and looked like some McCormick sauce. No demi-glaze flavor and the color is transparent like those powdered gravy packets. The broccolini was bitter. They were tucked under the steak so maybe the brunt from the steak went onto the broccolini... The risotto was creamy but they were undercooked cuz they were still hard. My bf said his Ribeye Lasagna just tasted like a normal lasagna like he couldn't tell the difference of normal beef and the "ribeye meat" that they used, but it was a big size and the sauce was pretty good so he thinks it's worth the money. The creme brulee... I have this tradition with my bf which we will order a creme brulee(if the restaurant provides) during our first visit. I'm no Michelin creme brulee reviewer, but I'd say I tried and made enough creme brulee to identify what a standard and good creme brulee is, and unfortunately this just ain't one. The flame on top is a cool gimmick but it melts the supposedly crispy top to a little too soft (we waited for about 5 mins after the flame was gone before eating it). The texture of the creme was NOT creme brulee but more like flan, when the creme should've been more of a custard/solid but creamy like texture. We were told their creme brulee has a little orangey-taste to it, but the orangey taste just totally covers the flavor of creme brulee. All we could taste was a bitter orange flan. Although my bf likes his lasagna, we both agreed that for this price we would've expected better tasting food. I have no doubt that the ingredients they used were high quality, but this is just not gonna go nowhere when you don't have the right chef to cook them.
