Chicken Bone-In Wings

I think there may be some kind of demon in this chilis. After sitting in this chilis for nearly 2 hours and digesting some of this nearly intolerable food me and the group I came with were nearly delirious. Either a gas leak or a demon was preying on our sanity. For the entire meal a lady swept the floor. The cheese stood straight up and did a salute. The lights flickered. I was glued to my seat and every muscle in my face hurt.

I went there on Saturday March 16th around 2pm. The restaurant was clean. However, it didn't appear to be that busy but it took forever to get my food. I ordered the trio tortillas plate. I want to say that it was delicious when it finally came out after waiting over half an hour but I don't know if I was a prisoner of being so hungry that anything would've tasted good at that point The coconut margarita was really good The presentation of the food was really good as well My last thing is the waiter kept forgetting basic things like silverware, straws and napkins

Went here on a whim. Came to Tupelo from Starkville searching for Busch light apple and found an experience that filled me with home grown warmth and comfort instead. Waited 15 minutes for a table, which isn't bad, and boy was it worth it. Our host? 10/10 wanted us to be there. Felt the love when he seated us. Our waiter Phillip made me the best radical Rita. Called us babe too, which made me feel like he wanted me there more. The manager stopped by our table to make sure we were doing okay. Better now seeing him HOT DAMN. Buss boys were sweet too. Very attentive. I have never seen someone clean a table so intently. They had the pillow fight championship on the tv so I was throughly entertained throughout my time. Also the dynamic of the waitstaff had me so intrigued there's definitely some lore i want to dive deeper into. There's a silver fox I would love to know more about. Wasn't married. I checked. I fully have plans to leave the country for a job but if he asked me to stay I would. AND THAT WAS ALL BEFORE THE FOOD CAME OUT. We ordered two triple dippers (obv). Delightful. Amazing. Everything i imagined. Food was interrupted by the sound of children crying. It added an apocalyptic feeling to the vibe. For better or for worse I guess. Also other patrons were fully dressed to the nines??? Southwest eggrolls to die for, as always. Lava cake was great and peanut butter pie was alright. Tasted like a peanut butter pie. Nbd. I think the ambiance of the place really sold it for me. Ngl was there for two hours and enjoyed every second of it. Much better than the last time I was at a Chili's cause that's where my parents told me they were getting a divorce. Will be back.

Texas Roadhouse - 16 oz Sirloin

I think the reason most of us go to a chain like Texas Roadhouse, is for consistency and…read morefamiliarity. If that's what you're looking for, it's certainly the case here. This time around I had the 16 oz Hand Cut Sirloin, with Green Beans and Mixed Vegetables. The meal was excellent and as reasonably priced as you can hope for in the 2026 economy. Service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was in line with the chain experience.

Our family recently visited Texas Roadhouse and unfortunately the entire experience was extremely…read moredisappointing from start to finish. We arrived around 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was not packed, we didn't have to wait for a table, and there appeared to be plenty of staff working. Despite that, our visit lasted nearly TWO HOURS from the time we were seated until we finally received our check. Our waiter seemed completely unable to manage multiple tasks at once. It took 20 minutes just to receive two Cokes and two sweet teas. Our appetizers took another 30 minutes after that. We didn't even receive our actual meals until about an hour and a half into the experience. What made it even more frustrating was the amount of staff visibly gathered throughout the restaurant laughing, gossiping, and socializing instead of helping customers. It genuinely felt like customer service was the least important thing happening there. The final straw was the restroom situation. The "family restroom" might as well be renamed the employee restroom. My husband and daughter stood waiting while employees continuously went in and out as if it were reserved for staff use only. Then when I entered the women's restroom, it felt more like walking into a high school hallway than a restaurant bathroom. Multiple groups of female employees were gathered inside laughing and gossiping, blocking the space, and after waiting several minutes I realized many of them weren't even waiting for stalls -- they were simply hanging out in the restroom. To top it all off, the food itself was subpar at best. Our steaks were overcooked, and the appetizers tasted like they had been sitting under heat lamps for far too long before ever reaching our table. Every concern, question, or complaint we brought up was met with irritation or complete nonchalance instead of any attempt to correct the situation. Needless to say, our family will NOT be returning to this location.

Visit #1: I ordered the Voo Doo Tots and the prime filet. The tots? Okay, these were amazing. Like, I could've just eaten those and been happy. The steak was a solid prime filet--cooked well and enjoyable, even if it didn't quite steal the show from the tots. Visit #2: I tried the Chef's Charcuterie Board (which, plot twist, is served on a plate... not a board) and the Forklift Fried Chicken. The chicken plate was a little disappointing for me. The collard greens and cornbread were definitely "not how momma made them" (kidding... kind of). Still edible, just not memorable. Both visits left me satisfied, but it's more of a "stroll back" than a "run back" kind of place. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, which always bumps a restaurant up a notch in my book. I didn't try one of their Old Fashioneds--apparently what they're known for--but I did go for the Fire of Mordor cocktail. Tequila-based, delicious, and honestly the name alone sold me. Cozy restaurant, and we had reservations both times even though it wasn't packed. Overall, Forklift is a nice spot to land for a good meal in Tupelo.
