Our bartender was Paige on a Sunday afternoon for a football game. No personality and looked like she didn't even enjoy doing her job. The guys next to me even made a comment on how horrible she was. We asked for the appetizer first and it came out all together with our meal. We weren't going to send the main dish back so we were forced to eat it all together. It just seemed like we were a bother to her and the vibe was felt within the other customers as well. Will never come back with my friends for Sunday football. In fact, we always look forward to grabbing dinner here when we have business on Staten Island. It's basically like any suburban Chili's. This is our go to place for casual family dining since Outback has raised prices so much over the past few years. We like Chili's better than TGIF and Applebee's. While similar there tend to offer more variety, and do have a couple of things with a bit of spice (most is mild, don't let the name scare you off). Food is generally prepared well, lots of kids menu options, and they generally have some very affordable specials. Surprised to see so many wait service complaints. I NEVER had a bad experience here. The staff is so friendly and the food never disappoints. Not to mention 2 for 1 frozen or on the rock drinks is an awesome deal and it goes on at anytime of the day. The chips and salsa are the best way to start a meal. As well as the appetizer sampler. I really love Chili's. As far as chain restaurants go, Chili's is by far my favorite. They have delicious mini sliders (def. dip them in the ranch dressing, you'll thank me later). Love the appetizer sampler, get the boneless wings and southwest egg rolls. They also have really yummy chicken crispers. Chili's is my go-to spot if I'm looking for cheap, greasy food. Do not come here looking for real food. Don't order a steak or pasta dish and then complain when it tastes like crap. What did you expect? You have no one to blame but yourself. I will say that they really need to step up their game a bit as far as service goes. I'm completely understanding when a place is crowded and I may have to wait a few extra minutes for my drink. That makes sense. But the last time I was here, it wasn't crowded at all and our waitress was horrible. She took forever to come see us, then forever to bring us our drinks. Once we did get our food she didn't even come over once to see if we needed anything else. This Chili's is okay. The food is usually on point but the service is usually not the greatest, and is extremely slow. I went there yesterday around 8. We ordered drinks and 2 appetizers and we didn't leave until after 10 because we were trying to hunt our waitress down the entire time. She only checked in once, and we had to ask a different waitress to help us out because ours was visiting every other table, just not ours. read more

Horrible service and management. I went there to pick up a to go order and they were over 30 minutes late for a pick up order. When I requested to speak to the manager, a male manager walks up to me and tries to justify why my order is taking so long. I've watched people walk in after me and leave before me. Finally my order comes and the employee throws it at me on the desk and walks away. The manager stood right there and did not say anything to his rude employee, hence I am a black woman being treated this way. This is my favorite restaurant of all time, we come here every weekend as a family and it's always great, the service is usually pretty good, and the food tastes delicious. so i'm very upset. i went into chilis before, and i had my service cat with me because i suffer with severe anxiety.. i never had an issue before having him in there.. but the girl goes "omg is that a cat?" i was like yes it is she was like "hold on" .. goes over to her manager and tells him. he comes over to me. asks me for my service animal paperwork. which is not an issue. i only had a picture of it present with me, and he did not accept it. i told him, they never ever give me an issue here as i was told they're not allowed to ask you about it. not to mention, it was literally empty and he's very well trained and just sits and sleeps on the bench. very upset with you guys chilis. i almost never wanna go back there again. read more

I always like to go to Chili's. There are great menu options and of course the 2 for 1 priced margaritas keep me happy. My current favorite meal is the Santa Fe chicken salad. The restaurant is always clean minus the bathroom that needs some attention. Friday nights are crazy, but you can always get a seat at the bar. Service is good. Ice water comes in nice mugs. Chicken is flavorful. Salad is sorely lacking in greens and character. It is the most dressing drenched salad ever made, with inferior tasting ingredients. It's right near my house so it's very convenient. 2 for 1 margaritas are decent, but obviously not as good as Jose Tejas. You need to know what to order on the menu to enjoy it. This restaurant is so past bad customer service it was ridiculous how our server only " played " server for a hot second . Worst service ever! We had a party of 11 - which is a large group! But only half of our orders came out and after 25 mins, the other half were still no where in sight. We look over to see that our waitress is enjoying her dinner. She never checked to see if our orders were okay or not. Once we told her we didn't have our food yet, she checks to see that she inputted our order wrong in the beginning and the other half we're never rung in and the kitchen was only NOW starting them. Now I've frequented this Chili's location several times. My only gripe ever was the service is slow especially on a Sunday until today. My boyfriend & I was seated in the bar area, had a server named Hamze that appeared to be new but he was trying. We ordered honey chipotle chicken crispers for our entree & my boyfriends had a hair in it. Being that he is bald & I have a head wrap on, it's not neither on of us so we tell Hamze & he takes the food back to kitchen, comes back and ask should he place another order or have his manager remove it. Not one apology left his mouth but maybe he didn't get the customer service training. We tell him put in another order. What was baffling is that the general manager Anthony Acampora never stepped out to extend an apology. Makes sense why Hamze didn't know it's better to offer an apology. Comping a meal would've been nice but an apology is all that was truly needed. Now he may of been busy but I would hate to think race is why Anthony Acampora could not take 30 seconds to apologize.
