We come here quite a bit since it's right up the road from our house. Every time we come y'all are always out of the pineapple for the pinapple/blueberry Rita. Publix's an Krogers are right up the street so there's NO reason y'all should be out of it! Once I told our server Haley that y'all are always out if pinapple an attitude came. My husband was the one who pointed it out too and he usually never says anything about servers. We're getting a bit tried of attitudes from yalls servers there. Today was the last straw with Haley. Both my wife and I were a little spooked by the Kiosk tablet device on all the tables. We had ordered lunch and noticed that other tables were being served and we had not yet received our soup and chili yet. I told my wife that we should get the check and go find someplace to eat. within 30 seconds our waitress was at our table telling us our food was on it's way, it arrived 2 minutes later. You would expect good chili based on the name of the restaurant. I commented to my wife that it did not taste right and had an odd flavor. Again within 1 minute another hostess showed up offering a different soup admitting that the chili may not be their best offering and was "missing ingredients". She was quite insistent that I try a different soup and I am glad I did, The chicken enchilada soup was very tasty. Quality had really gone down at the Smyrna location. The last time we went, it too over 40 minutes to get our food and then it wasn't fresh- it had been sitting for awhile. Server didn't check on us from the time she took our order until after we got our food. We had to point out that we were out of drinks and did not receive fresh food. Never saw Manager the whole time we were there. The table next to us ordered AFTER us and got their food before us. We had two people at their table, they had 7! After waiting over 30 mins for our food one of my child's meal was completely wrong; the other child's meal was half wrong and the bun for the burger was rock hard. I asked for a manager who explained there was a "mix up with tables and when corrected in the system our order was lost". About 10 mins later the correct kids meals arrives and now my husband and my food is cold. The manager told us "sorry for the problem. I will be sure to take care of you. I work at a local business in Smyrna and we decided to get lunch for all the guys who work with me. The first restaurant we called was very unprofessional and had no customer satisfaction. When I asked for ideas on meals for several guys he just stated that they didn't have platter meals and there is nothing we could do. He couldn't come up with something to get my business. Also when I asked for a discount for a group he said our prices are what they are. He said they don't discount anything. This wasn't the issue when I called here. The manager directed me on what to get and also stated that they don't usually do discounts but he wanted our business and he helped me out. I order Togo, and when I get there to pick up they said my foods not ready so we have to wait like 15 minutes. My home just 2 minutes away and when I get home and open it. Fries hard to bite, chicken cold as ice and they also mess up my order. I ask for sauce on the side, they told me to wait a minute and they come back with sauce after 20 minutes . Got there about 1:50 on a Sunday. It was crowded when we arrived, but by the time we sat, place was less than 1/2 full. Had a table of 9. It took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. People in our party ordered endless soup and salad and that didn't come for 40 minutes. A table next to ours sat down 25 minutes after we did and had their salads before we got ours. I talked to the manager and maybe got a sorry, but not "I'll look into it" or anything. I hadn't been to Chili's in awhile, I see a lot of them have closed and I don't plan to go back to this or any other Chili's in the near future. There are too many well run places with good food. I usually LOVE Chili's, but this location is awful. The wait staff lacks customer service skills and basic knowledge of new menu items. I ordered the sirloin steak and it was very over salted. When I get there to pick it up at four I had asked it to be curbside and when I push the button some female started yelling at me to come inside that's all she says "COME INSIDE". Stopped at Chili's in Sam Ridley Pkwy on the way to Nashville airport on Saturday around 1:00 pm. Party of 4. Walked into bar area. All available tables were dirty. Asked bartender if it was ok to sit at a dirty table. She barely acknowledged us. Then we sat down and about 10 min later had to ask a passing manager if we could get the table cleaned off. He took the dishes then we had to wait for a waitress to wipe the table and take our drink orders. Maybe 10 minutes later no drinks. We watched the bartender ignore our server's drinks order, clean the bar, serve other people who ordered after us, purposely avoid eye contact with us at the bar without filling our order. We finally walked out and the bartender was unapologetic. The worst experience at any restaurant ever!! And, we regularly stop at this place on our way out of town. read more

Went to chilis today because a coworker and I were able to get off early for work. We both had Chilis rewards and coupons to use. It was told to us that we can't use both coupons even though we were paying separately. The service manager Jerry came by and explained you can use 2 rewards at one table. I wish the coupon would of explained this or Jerry could of atleast allowed me my coupon to my half of lunch. He refused to apply it even though one of the waitress said he could easily do it. Horrible service!! Horrible management!! Every time I give chili's another chance I'm left disappointed. Placing a togo order over the phone should have been my first clue to give up. I was spoke to like I was inconveniencing them and they were annoyed I was calling. Then told if I want my order I'm going to have to come in and get it. I went in to the bar and sat down. There were 3 employees behind and around the bar. I sat there for nearly 5 minuets before anyone even said hello. They were not busy at all. Once I got home with my order I realize it was not complete. I was missing the dressing for my salads. When I called and spoke to a manager he told me my only options were to come back and get the dressing or bring the food and receipt back for a refund. This is their company policy he said!!! I always feel so blessed when I find out she is going to be my server. (I ask for her now) She is so polite and always gets things correct, keeps my glass full, and has a smile on her face. I usually love to come to Chili's, partly because they make it easy to know what I can have, having a gluten allergy. But today, the manager, Josh, made two people at our table cry, and then didn't even make it right. Let me start by saying, I work in customer service and hold myself to a high standard. I try to do everything in my power to make my customers happy, because I understand that if not for them, I don't have a job. I told our server, Cheyenne (who was lovely, by the way), that I had a gluten allergy, which I watched her write down. My husband and I both ordered the 6 oz. sirloin. While my husband is not picky about how his meat is done, I am. I ordered medium, and because meat at a restaurant is so lean, if it is even slightly overdone, it is tough, in my opinion. So when it came out, Cheyenne asked us to check it before she left the table. I felt mine was a bit overdone, but because we had already waited 40 minutes for the food, I was willing to suck it up. However, the manager, Josh, had seen that it was a problem for me and took it to be fixed. Within moments, he brought the same plate BACK out to me and told me that it WAS cooked properly, and that in the future, I should order medium rare. While I didn't appreciated being told **I** ordered wrong, I decided that the best thing I could do is just leave it be, because obviously, I wasn't dealing with an accommodating management staff. However, as he walked away, Cheyenne came back and wanted to know if I was okay with everything, because she genuinely cared. I said it was fine, but as I was saying that, I looked down and realized there were fried onions that were stuck in my mashed potatoes. Because of my allergies, I could not eat it, so I put my face in my hands and asked her to take it. I didn't want anything else. I then had to leave the table and go to the bathroom to compose myself because I was emotional. I just wanted to eat lunch with my family at a place that would/could be respectful of my dietary needs. I know I take a risk when eating out, because there is always a risk of cross-contamination. But I do also think that when an allergy has been made known, the staff should make a reasonable effort to help. When I came back to the table, my youngest was crying and my husband told me that the manager had come back to the table and told him that he didn't see anything on the plate (indicating that he didn't see fried onions and essentially calling me a liar), but that he would get me something else. I had lost my appetite and no longer trusted that the staff would make a true effort to keep me from getting sick. I had already ordered something that was supposed to be GF. All this to say, when a customer has a problem with the way the food is cooked, just make it right. Don't lecture me on how I was wrong and then call me a liar. Oh, and he removed my meal from the ticket, but there was no apology or attempt to make our dining EXPERIENCE right. Very frustrated, to say the least. I am glad I decided to leave before the ticket came. I came home and made myself a lunch, while my husband stayed to finish his meal. If I had stayed, the entire restaurant may have heard this review in person. read more

I've ate here a ton times. Getting 4 stars purely based on convenience and local competition. They are the best we've got "late night" except for maybe singha. Well, that's Chili's for you. 15 years ago it was actually a good chain, but they have apparently taken a big step back on the quality of food and are just catering to the younger crowd that doesn't seem to appreciate good food. First off, we ordered queso dip ... big mistake. It tasted like velvetta mixed with hormel chili and some chili powder. Worst dip I've ever tasted in my life. I ordered the Cajun pasta for entree .. big mistake #2. I guess I was expecting something besides chicken alfredo with a sprinkling of Tony Chacere's. Sent that one back, in exchange for ribs. Remember when Chili's baby back ribs were actually good? Well times have certainly changed. I couldn't bear to send back another dish, so I just ended up leaving. I love Chilis every where I go but not fond of this particular location. The waiters are hit or miss and if you do give a bad review on their tablet the next time you go the manager puts you right back in the location you were sitting and has you endure the waitress slyly bring up the stuff you wrote. This has been literally the worst experience I've ever had a restaurant. We waited 20 mins to be seated... on a tuesday night. After being seated we waited 30 mins to order and then another 30 to get our food. The waiter got everyone's order wrong and one person had a hair in their food! The manager then came out to apologize and didn't sound like he cared at all and basically made excuses that they were short staffed and i kid you not he said that they should have waited to seat us even longer so that they could clean up.
