I honestly don't remember the last time I went to Chili's, but I decided to stop by after seeing the Triple Dipper go viral. The service here was amazing. Our waitress was super friendly, attentive, and checked in on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was great overall. Some items were a little on the salty side, but everything still hit the spot. The fried mozzarella was the star of the show. That cheese pull was so satisfying. it alone made the visit worth it! Honestly, I'd skip the Triple Dipper next time and just get a bigger order of the fried mozzarella. The restaurant had plenty of open space and wasn't too crowded, which made for a really comfortable dining experience. It's a shame there aren't more Chili's locations in NYC. read more

First time in my life having Chili's. Came here for the memes before a concert and also because I've had a $25 Chili's gift card I haven't used in almost 4 years. At any rate, per my wife's suggestion, we got the triple dipper and steak + shrimp fajitas + a Coke Zero. Also signed up for Chili's rewards program for free chips and salsa. The triple dipper was fun. Nothing was necessarily out of this world, but totally enjoyable in the greasy American food diner type way. Southwest egg rolls were interesting. Nice flakey exterior. Chicken tenders were decently crispy. And mozz was crispy although weak cheese pull. The steak was a bit dry, but overall the fajitas were solid. Shrimp was ok, too. Chips and salsa were good although my biggest gripe was half the chips were basically crushed out. So not the funnest. As far as vibe goes... it's exactly what you'd expect from Chili's. Good ol' chain sit-down. A bit pricey though. After the gift card, total came out to about $33 after tip. So as far as food goes, a solid 3 stars! But an extra one has to go to the great service. I know chain restaurants get a lot of flak but I had a great time at Chili's. This was my first time and it reminds me of Cheesecake Factory lol. Of course I had to get the triple dipper! Our server William was very nice and refilled our waters very often. Ambiance was a casual, bar feel. My choices were the big mouth bites, honey chipotle chicken crispers, and the original mozzarella sticks--nay, BRICKS. All for me. The chicken was so good. It was the highlight of my meal. The big mouth bites were eh, kind of dry and reminds me of the burgers I used to get in school. The mozzarella sticks were just as they said it would be in the TikTok videos--super cheese pull. Finally made my way to a chilis to try the infamous triple dipper and I can't lie it was good, but not GREAT. The 3 for me deal on the other hand was fantastic, I would've rather we ordered two of those because it came with an appetizer (soup, salad or chips with salsa) and an entree (cheapest options were burgers or chicken sandwich but the smash burger was REALLY yummy). For a Friday night, it was pretty busy around 7pm but the wait wasn't too long even without a reservation (for 2 people) and the waitress was super friendly. Noise level was as expected, you did have a to speak to have a conversation but it wasn't so loud where you had to shout to be heard. I also think they redid the interior so the restaurant doesn't look as outdated as it did years ago. Overall I'd definitely visit again especially if I'm craving some regular American food such as a burger. read more

I came here for one thing and one thing only - the infamous Triple Dipper. We started off with some drinks; the Patron Marg with Mango was way too sweet. Also, either the waitress was confused by my order or was trying to upsell me into getting a more expensive margarita. Either way, it was overly sweet and I didn't really taste any mango flavor. Next, the Triple Dipper came but it originally had the Southwest Eggrolls instead of the Big Mouth bites that I ordered. My friends were also missing sauces, got the wrong sides, etc. They took back my entree and brought it back without the Southwest Eggrolls and told me those would come out separately. I actually waited for them to bring them; after all, it was my first time here and I wanted to get a photo of my Triple Dipper! It was just disappointing that a simple order was messed up for every person within our table of 4. I will say the Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers were delicious and the Fried Mozzarella were just as good as people say with an awesome cheese pull. The Big Mouth Bites were dry and could absolutely be skipped, in my opinion. After catching a movie on Friday night, we decided to stop by Chili's in Secaucus for a late bite since it's literally a 2 minute walk from there. The place was busy, mostly with high school kids, likely enjoying their summer break. Our server and staff were friendly and attentive. However, I was disappointed with my drink--it had too much of the mixer, obviously I still finished it, and didn't want to complain since it was busy. My suggestion, if you're going to try these it may be best to eat them right away so you have them fresh. Now, I am a fried mozzarella fanatic so the fact that I did not care about these was a bit concerning lol. We ordered a 6 count (sharable) which comes with marinara sauce. The classic combo is always good. We listened to social media and tossed these with their honey chipotle sauce that you order separately. I did not like these at ALL. It tasted like a vegan hot dog specifically, which I don't mind when I know it's a hot dog. It was just a weird taste for fried mozz. Have to say that the triple dipper and salad that we ordered was definitely an improvement from the last order I made here. Our waitress was fantastic and really went above and beyond--she remembered one of my friend's favorite drinks, which made us feel special right from the start. The highlight of the evening was when the manager surprised us by bringing out a delicious dessert to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it truly made the night unforgettable. The service was friendly, and the food was, as always, great. Highly recommend this location for both great food and outstanding service! This location is great - in a really lovely shopping mall plaza. Plenty of parking. Inside was clean and updated enough where it felt modern and comfortable (not stale and outdated). Many new restaurants have opened close by but this location just gets better each time. The interior of the restaurant is usually spotless considering the amount of traffic it gets. They go out of the way to make sure you get exactly what you ordered and enjoy every bite. I definitely recommend asking for your fries well done they are delicious when they are extra crispy. Just stopped in for a quick drink and an appetizer. Tltge place was very quiet and empty. We waited for a very long time for the bartender to even acknowledge us. We ordered 2 drinks and chips with 3 dips. I ordered a drink with olives. It took quite a long time to get the olives. We had: salsa, guacamole, and white queso. The queso was not very hot. I personally don't make it a habit of looking up reviews for chains because it feels like it should be generally the same experience. However, this location was absolutely abysmal. Upon entering, three people were arguing in the host station and this lasted a few minutes before, whom I assumed was a waiter, left to go tend to his tables and the remaining host(s) took me to a table nearest the bar. When I was sat at a table, the host advised me that he'd be back to clean the table and beneath the table as well (he did not). Several tables ahead of mine were also left dirty. My waitress was kind and attentive to my request for a Molten Cake and Margarita but as far as experiencing anything superb, it fell short since I waited about ten minutes to be acknowledged when I initially sat down. I came in on a Monday at 2pm where there wasn't many customers in the building. Overall, if I had to recommend any fixes, cleanliness would definitely be one of them. read more

This place is ALWAYS busy so ordering takes a bit of time but our server was so awesome. They took their time getting everyone's orders, checked on us frequently and even went out of their way to make sure our questions were answered. I didn't know what to order at first but then decided i'd give the Honey Chipotle Crispers, Mac & Cheese & french fries platter a try. Again to my surprise, the food was fantastic. We were a party of 6 people. All of them my coworkers who worked in the Secaucus area. We decided to go here for lunch on a Friday to celebrate the end of a long work week. The table and seating was small. There were no bigger tables so we have to jammed 2 people on one booth style seating and 4 chairs. There was not enough space for all our food especially when the entrees came after the appetizers. Luckily most of the appetizers were finished so it was a matter of shuffling plates. The appetizers we had were the fried mozzarella and the Nashville version of of it. As well as 2 servings trays of chips and salsa. The mozzarella was great. We especially loved the Nashville version because it provided a kick and was well spiced without it being too overwhelmingly spicy. Even though I personally would like it to be more hotter. Suggestion: Ghost Pepper Fried Mozzarella. The chips and salsa was good too. The chips came out warm. And it is very addictive. You just cannot just eat one. Lol. The watermelon lemonade was just okay. I tasted the lemonade but not enough of the watermelon flavor pushed through. The brisket burger was a tad too salty for my taste as well as the accompanying fries. The bbq sauce on the burger was too cloyingly sweet. It is also very sticky and there was not wet naps to clean my hands or plastic gloves to prevent the burger from sticking to my hands and fingers. All in all the food was okay. Chili's has one of the most limited menus on the semi fast food market. That said most people can find something to eat and be happy. I do enjoy a Strawberry Margarita when I come to Chili's. The food here is fine and the prices are fair. The staff is always too busy these days to get any real attention. I was happy to be given a paper menu so I could decide my meal the normal way. The restaurant was fairly clean, and the service was prompt. I did have some issues trying to get napkins and trying to pay. I asked how I pay and was told to use the kiosk on the table, but my order was not in there. The server finally fixed the issue, and I was able t pay and tip to a decent degree. Both my friend and I were generally satisfied but this is a semi fast food restaurant so don't expect to mush service. If need be, feel free to go up to the staff and make your requests but don't try to wait for staff to check on you. read more

My girlfriend and I have made a tradition of going to Chili's for our date nights, and we usually have a pretty uneventful experience. BUT the Secaucus, NJ location was astonishingly different. Our server (whose name I do not remember) was lovely and funny and very helpful! The food was cooked perfectly and plated akin to a Michelin star restaurant! I don't write many reviews but I had to for our waiter at Chili's in Secaucus nj because I think he deserves the recognition of how great he is at his Job . His name is Ephraim and he was so patient with my family and I which was me my husband and our 2 kids my daughter is only 9 months old she tore every paper and napkin up on the table , our son who is 11 asked so many questions and wanted many different dipping sauces, my husband always takes forever picking his food . Through it all our server was so patient after we ordered he always made sure we were good. When he spoke to us you could tell he was a people person. Thats what it was for him customer service not just a job to get a check it's like he really did enjoy satisfying his customers and leaving them with a positive dining experience and for that alone he made our lunch/dinner experience with Chili's a great one .Ephraim don't change how you are with your costumers because you never know hoe much you really impact them like you did with my family today. I visited this location last Friday, 02/14/25, and sat at the bar. The bartender was new and extremely unprofessional, not to mention cold. Her demeanor was distasteful, after having 2-3 drinks and 1-2 shots, she cut us off and told us that she can no longer continue to serve us. Here's the kicker, almost everyone else at the bar preceded us, but she proceeded to serve them. It's also worth noting that we toggle back in forth between Chili's and Outback, but rest assured, I will NEVER step foot in another Chili's again.
