I thought this Chili's would be great considering you are in Scottsdale. However it was very mediocre. No soap on the bathroom, and our waiter Charlene which was also the bartender was so lifeless and super weird to us. She was being super friendly to a table of ladies that she clearly knew however not to us. She was giving us a mean face and not being nice whatsoever. My 13 year old was asking me why does she work here if she's going to be like that? You have to be nice to new faces not just to the people you already know. Amazing visit! We were seated immediately, for a party of 4 on a not-too-busy Thursday night. Our server was a kind, older gentleman (he had an accent), we found out he was from Rhode Island. Unfortunately don't remember his name but he was awesome! I got the 3 for me, a Coke, chips and salsa (a MASSIVE bowl of chips btw and they were delicious, a perfect amount of salsa too), and a big Smasher burger with fries for 10.99, just under $15 with tip. My food was delicious! I think our server was bored because he kept checking on us and got excited when my friend agreed to a refill on her water hahahah!!! Great visit. This location is good. Had never been to a Chili's before, honestly didn't have much expectations for it since it is a chain restaurant. However, the food was really good and arrived really hot. I got a mango Arnold Palmer which was really good. Our burgers has great flavor. I was honestly most excited to try the Nashville hot mozzarella, which were a 10/10!!! Our waiter Griffin was really attentive as well. He was the bartender for the whole restaurant while he was also waiting on multiple tables and the bar area. Mateo was our wait person for lunch and gave us outstanding service. He went above and beyond the norm, always a smile on his face. He explained certain dishes and made sure our order came out in a timely manner, always checking back to see if we needed anything. I'm so used to just getting the bare minimum in other places, I was pleasantly surprised! We'll be sure to ask for him next visit. The food did not disappoint either. Every dish was tasty and hot. Hubby had burger and fries and I had their triple appetizer platter with different dipping sauces. Crispy chicken tenders were crunchy and succulent inside, southwest egg rolls perfect with just right amount of Mexican seasoning and refreshing dip with an edge, and finally cheeseburger sliders with bacon crumbles with some sort of ranch. So much food that I know what I'll be eating for dinner tonight and loving it all over again. The store manager even made the rounds of all the tables making sure all was well. At least that's who I assumed the friendly guy wearing the ear piece was. When we asked for take home boxes, Mateo even packed up our tortilla chips with container of fresh salsa. This rating is purely because of service. Their service is excellent. The managers were constantly walking around checking on how things were. I had a bowl of enchilada soup and the manager offered chips to dip with the soup which I thought was so kind. The food was okay. I had a bacon cheeseburger. The burger was well done which isn't what I actually wanted. The burger bun looks as though it was smushed and was even ripped on top so the burger was difficult to hold and cut. I was starving so I didn't necessarily have time to get a photo but the children's pizza was delicious and the fries were good as well. The cleanliness of the restaurant was ok. There was tons of food on the ground from a family prior which I still don't understand how that happens, families should definitely do better of trying to be cleaner at their tables. They wouldn't do that at their homes. Anyway, off of a tangent. Chilis in my opinion is good but not something I would say is super special other than I think the pricing is great. Let's say this, chilis is definitely better than Applebees. I also will say that this chilis has amazing service. Great job guys! Is Chili's was the worst i've ever been to. I ordered their crispy chicken tenders and they were literally awful!!!! The chicken was so overcooked and it tasted like rubber... it was so tough you could barely bite the tender and get a small piece to eat, it required two hands. I was so embarrassed for this restaurant for preparing a meal that tasted horrible. The french fries were cold and the most disappointing was the mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese sauce was like water.It had no texture, no taste and no thickness. I literally removed the cup of Mac and cheese from my plate and put it in the corner of the table. That's how bad it was... It's amazing with restaurants like Chili's struggling for customers and struggling to succeed. Then when customers go to these restaurants and they served horribly prepared food. The general manager of this property's name is Josh and i'm sure he is not paying attention to anything. If he tasted the chicken tender and/or mac and choose he would be ashamed of himself for allowing this to be served in his restaurant. read more

I came Saturday at lunch. It was fairly busy but everything moved quickly and efficiently. Sheyenne was our server and she was great. She checked on us frequently and refilled our drinks as needed. The food was ready quickly. I had the 3 for me with the 6 oz sirloin. It was cooked medium rare, exactly as I ordered it. The size of the steak and sides was perfect. The enchilada soup was great as an appetizer. The employees at this Chilis seem to all work together as a team and help each other carry out drinks and food as needed, which is nice. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing and the value/quality of the food is outstanding. For $17 I got a steak dinner, appetizer and a drink. You can't go wrong with that! I visited this Chili's around 12:00 PM on 3/29/2025 and had a very unpleasant experience. Shortly after arriving, an older male manager became visibly irate over a large party reservation and proceeded to angrily confront the hostess at the front stand. He was clearly frustrated, using expletives and checking the seating tablet in an unprofessional manner. When we reported this behavior to the female manager on duty, she just said "ok" and walked away--zero accountability or concern. On top of that, our waitress was rude and made us feel like we were an inconvenience just for being there. The food was mediocre at best--not worth the price or the poor service. This is my first review I have ever set. Thats how pissed off I was with my order. I ordered To-Go. Unbeknownst to me the restaurant was near closing time. I went to pick up my food and the door was locked so when I picked up it was my fault for not checking this stuff. I ordered the smokehouse combo. Honey Chipotle chicken Crispers, brisket quesadillas, loaded mash potatoes, and salad. The best thing that came out of that was the salad. I got 3 plain tenders. NO SAUCE on the chicken no dipping sauce. I had to dip it in my mash potatoes because I clearly got the crusty small chicken tenders. The quesadillas were underwhelming. No sauce in it or on the side. Thats a 25 dollar combo that wasn't worth 10 to be very honest. My other order the sirloin steak. If that was 6 oz we need to revisit options. That was not what I was upset about though. Who orders steak at a chili's? If you do, you know the quality you receive. But the missing side. C'mon guys. I ended up getting another mashed potatoes but no soup. I was befuddled at how bad the order was construed and messed up. Then you just throw the food in the box. My kids could prep better. 58 dollars AND they missed my chips but hey I got a cup of salsa. Very poor establishment. Hard to mess up Chili's but congrats y'all you showed the force is strong with you in that aspect. read more

This is a COVID-19 Take-Out Review I'll keep this short, because I have mixed thoughts about my only experience ordering from here. We were a long time customers of their original location on Shea Boulevard and were sad when they closed. I found ordering online to be mixed. Only after filling out their easy To Go Menu and went to pay, did the system tell me they wasn't accepting orders. Huh? This was at five-fifteen on Saturday afternoon. Next I tried calling and that too was unsatisfying. Let's just say I got a giggling employee, who told me "she didn't know how to use their system because she was new. LOLOLOL". Then half way through she passed me off to someone else who was only slightly better. The Food. The food was typical Chili's, but with a mixed, slapped together bagging. Thankfully everything came in a huge plastic bag which saved my car seat from a greasy mess. Grrr Will we come back? Most likely, when things calm down. But I think about last week's positive take out experience at Texas Roadhouse and the juxtapose is striking. The Chili's server/deliverer though was masked up and stood at a safe difference. Nice. I'm visiting from Juneau Alaska. I looked up restaurant/steakhouse on my phone search bar and chose the place nearest to me with the best reviews, most stars. I ordered from my phone online I drove to the designated parking for curbside and my food was delivered before the allotted time. I ordered the new surf n turf, steak with shrimp. Chips and salsa too. I received a medium-well steak like I asked and was good. Two servings of mashed potatoes which surprised me because I expected one. I probably had not been in a Chili's in 15 years and thought, "What the hell?" Say what you will, Chili's is a survivor. Based on previous Yelp reviews, it seems this location opened in 2019. It is nicely designed (I loved the lighting in the main dining room) and in generally good condition. Like everyone else, they clearly have some challenges recruiting staff but the service was excellent. I sat at a high top in the bar area and Jose, the bartender, took care of my table on a recent weekday lunch. I overheard him talking to another guest and it turns out he has worked in the industry for 20 years and it was obvious. He was 100 percent on his game. My set meal included a dessert and when I attempted to order it he insisted I decide after my main course so I would know what I really wanted. Not being rushed is a rarity these days! Indeed, every employee encountered was smiling and friendly. One thing that I have to say about Chili's is that some of the weekday lunch packages are an excellent value. They offer a number of different options that are a steal. We chose the option for two. We ended up with two side salads, two entrees, and a shared dessert for $25. We both chose the chicken fajitas and I fully expected a small portion size. Nope, we each got the full-size fajitas. It was a lot of food. At lunch, they were packed, but everything flowed seamlessly, including a visit to the table by the manager. Side Salad: Decent portion size and a good mix of ingredients. Two small containers of dressing. I would be tempted to order a salad next time as my entree based on this one. Chicken fajitas: I appreciated that they served the sides on a different platter (guac, salsa, grated cheese, tomatoes). There was enough chicken that I had to get a to-go box and honestly could have been split between two. A small portion of rice and black beans accompanied it as did a few flour tortillas. The fajitas were good, not great, but totally OK. My only criticism was that the grated cheese was pretty dry and the flour tortillas tasted a bit like cardboard in terms of texture. This is not a place where you would bring a first-time visitor to the Southwest for Mexican food, but for a quick meal? Why not! Cheesecake: Hearty size and a strawberry sauce on the plate. Not the greatest dessert I have ever had, but tasty. It is easy to see how Chili's has survived over the years. Present a menu that is safe and recognizable and don't overcharge for it. As food prices (and everything else) rise, we may all end up in Chili's a bit more often. read more

My boyfriend and I love Chili's cause it's good for the price. We come here every other month or so and we come all the way from North Scottsdale since this is one of the closest ones. We've always enjoyed the food but the last couple times we've had this female server that pushes the margaritas too much. Literally first sentence was "hi my name is blah what flavor margaritas can I get you?". I said "no margs but I'll have a blackberry--" and the server cut me off to say "margarita?" And I said "no lemonade". and she's like "are you sure you won't want any margaritas?" Just cool it, damn. She also said men should be the only ones paying. I'm like what?? So so weird. I took advantage of a Free Appetizer promotion if you order an adult entree. I LOVE chicken wings, and made my adult entree the sirloin steak so I could get the chicken wings appetizer. Otherwise I'd have no interest in an adult entree. Well Brent the manager, described the "boneless chicken wings" as getting 11 pieces instead of the bone-in chicken wings where you get 8 pieces. And the "boneless" has all the caloric toppings on it. So I chose boneless wings to go. When I got home, the more I ate the "boneless chicken wings", the more I realize this is NOT chicken wings, it is chicken BREAST chunks, breaded, and I guess fried. I got more and more disappointed that I got "tricked and gypped", and dupped into thinking it was really "boneless chicken WINGS". I was looking forward to the skin and fat in the wings, the favorite part of the chicken for me. I called Brent and gave him feedback that this is NOT WINGS, it is chicken breast, like chicken tenders. He said the bone-IN wings are actually hand-breaded at the location, but the "boneless wings" come already breaded from supplier and they don't really know what is in it. Well it wasn't a WING! I hate chicken breast, because it is usually overcooked, like sawdust, and taste boring. The sirloin wasn't that great either, tho the cook did cook it medium rare, and red on the inside. It was tough, and every piece I spit out the fibers. Not really the restaurant's fault, cos it is "sirloin" not "ribeye" which Chili's also offers but you have to pay a lot more. I won't be ordering that "sirloin" again. I would have given 1 star for my disappointment, but Brent was very nice and accommodating. So I am giving an extra star above 1 for Brent's managerial service. I don't know WHY Chili's LIES about them being "wings", when they are NOT WINGS! But that answer is beyond Brent's chair. I would like an answer, tho, if someone from Corporate could get me one. Cos, I feel lied to, cos I've been looking at those "boneless wings" for a long time!
