My first experience at Chili's was 6.5/ 10. Service was slow but the waitress great we had was very nice, very helpful. The cleanliness of the resturant was moderate. The place was packed around 6. Bathrooms were disguising my son and bf said there was a lot of urine on the floor. I didn't bother to go to the women's bathroom after I heard that. We got our drinks and chips and salsa while we waited for our food to come. Took about 10/15mins when we got our food. My son ordered kids cheese burger and fries but when we got his order it was just a burn patty and dry with nothing on the buns. We flagged the waitress down to fix his order to get cheese melted on the plate patty and got a side of mayo. We were able to get my son's order fixed. I shared the 3 for $10.99 that's on the back of the menu hiding that they promote on commercials on tv. We smash burger with fries with my boyfriend. My bf ordered fried mozzarella (3 pc) that were a size of hot pocket. We ordered bone in wings honey chipotle and buffalo. The wings were ok the sauce was really light. Kids meal rating from my son is 5/10 Smash burger was 6/10 kind of greasy and by the end of the burger the bread was falling apart. Mozzarella rating from my boyfriend 8/10 and son was 10/10 Bone in wings was 6/10 the sauce was too light. I also got an Arnold Palmer strawberry it did not taste like lemonade or strawberry tea at all. There was no sweetness or tartness or the lemonade to the drink, It was watered down 4/10 for the drink. For my first experience trying chilis was alright I was not blown away from the food. I probably won't be coming back again.

Haven't been here in a while and I am impressed with this dinner visit. The team worked efficiently and service was friendly. The ambiance is casual with tv in the background. The food was prompt and delivered fresh. Recommend after this visit and eat better than my visit from a long time ago.

We visited during dinner time and, despite it being crowded, we were seated pretty quickly, which was a great start. We came specifically to try the fried mozzarella, which is offered in three flavors: Original, Nashville Hot, and Honey Chipotle. My favorite was definitely the Nashville Hot--it had the best flavor and a nice kick. The order also came with marinara and ranch on the side, which paired well. Overall, the food tasted good. The only downside was the cleanliness, which was a bit off-putting. My knife had visible food spots on it, like it hadn't been properly cleaned from the previous guest, so I didn't feel comfortable using it. The bathroom was not very clean either.

TikTok got me! The spicy mozzarella sticks have been all over my feed and I finally caved and made the trip to the Tanforan location in San Bruno. For a weekday, this place was genuinely busy. But the wait wasn't bad at all, we were seated pretty quickly and the food came out fast. Service was efficient and the overall vibe was fun. Our table went all in. Spicy mozzarella sticks, wings, chicken tenders, and pasta. It was a full spread and honestly a solid representation of what Chili's does. The mozzarella sticks are crispy, cheesy, and have a little kick to them. The rest of the food was consistent and exactly what you'd want from a casual chain. Nothing fancy, just reliable comfort food that hits the spot.

This Chili's could be hit or miss. To-go's are usually a miss. Tonight was fine. Their 3 for me $11 is cheaper than a McDonald's Big Mac meal $11.69. Service is great when you sit at the bar. There are four TV's to watch the games. The qp burger is a 8oz patty burger with two slices of cheese, pickles and onions. It comes with soup or salad or chips/salsa and a soda/ice tea. Instead of fries, you can get vegetables. Their fries are too salty anyways. My Bud Light beers, $5.79 each, were served in chilled mugs. Great job tonight everyone at Chili's.

I've always wanted to come try their "3 for Me" deal, and I finally decided to visit on a Sunday night. We arrived at 5 and were seated immediately. We ordered the Smasher Burger, the QP Burger, and a bacon burger. For appetizers, we got a cup of soup and two orders of chips and salsa (which are endless, so you can get free refills). The chips came out warm, and the portions were very generous. The "3 for Me" deal also comes with a drink. The food came out quickly, and our server was very attentive--she checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. The place was clean, and parking was easy since they have their own lot. I'll definitely be back.

I have been on a roll checking out the casual restaurant chains, Chili's on deck. Arrived around 3pm on Friday, decent sized parking lot shared with Wells Fargo mostly Filled. Inside the Bar was lively, the dinning room areas about 1/2 full, with Ziosk table side tablets. Signed into my recently created account via the Chilis mobile application after being quickly seated at a table. Happy Hour specials Beers, Wine Pours, and $6 Monthly Margarita at any time. My order the Big Smasher Burger, House Salad, and a Lemonade all part of the 3 For Me anytime combo meal. My beverage mug came out with minutes ( I requested limited Ice as to reduce the number of refill trips), the salad though not huge was a nice mix of ingredients and was quickly provided after my order was placed. My main the Smasher Burger came with a generous side of flavorful seasoned fries. The food was good. The numerous staff were busy on the floor taking orders, serving food, drink, and providing customer assistance, working interchangeably amongst the tables making it painless when needing a server. FYI, I had just recently dined at Outback & Red Robin also between 3 & 4 pm, but the serving staff here was far more available and engaged. Overall a nice dinning space, staff, food quality / quantity, and easy payment option via Ziosk. I want to plan on coming back to experience other menu Options.

An accommodating place for a large group of friends and I! On a Friday evening, our large party (nearly 20 people) came in, and we waited barely over an hour to be seated. The restaurant was fully packed, yet they were able to help us get seated in an area all together. I ordered their Ancho Salmon dish, and my order came out within 20 minutes. My friend and I also shared one of their Triple Dippers, which included boneless BBQ chicken wings, fried mozzarella, and big mouth bites. The Ancho Salmon was expensive in my opinion and had a smaller portion size than what I would've liked. However, it still was flavorful with its cilantro and pesto sauce. I wasn't a fan of the fried mozzarella, but the BBQ chicken wings were crispy and delicious when dipped into ranch. While we were paying, it took slightly longer than expected and was disorganized, but eventually we were able to get the individual bills.

I think the last time I was at Chili's was in my 20s. We recently met a couple of friends here for dinner because our friends said Chili's has some good deals. On a Friday night around 6:00 p.m., the wait was about 15 min for a table of four. The place was busy and bustling. After getting seated, it took a little while for our server to come take our drink orders, but totally understandable since the tables around us were all occupied. I ordered the four piece crisper meal which came with fries and Mac n cheese ($15.99). My husband got the full rack of ribs with fries and Mac n cheese for $28.99. Our friends both got the 3 for me deal with a smash burger, fries, side salad and a drink for $10.99 each. Signing up for a Chili's account on the app also gets you free chips and salsa with every visit. We ended the meal with a skillet chocolate chip cookie topped with ice-cream for $10.29. Service was great, atmosphere and food are what I'd expect from Chili's. Overall a good experience that I'm willing to do again.

I haven't been to Chili's in 10 years+. They discontinued the country fried steak which was my favorite menu item. We ordered the viral tread mozzarella sticks, quesadillas and couple of margaritas. Good food and pretty affordable. Service was prompt and you can pay at your table with the tablet. Lots of empty tables but not enough staff to help guests. It created a bit of a wait

    Crispy Chicken Crispers Combo ($17.39)

Oh man, as soon as we drove into the parking lot and saw the crowd spilling out the door I knew this was going to be a happening - and not in a good way. The pros: Staff really on their game, incredibly service oriented but trying not to show they're struggling. Great spicy margarita. Shout out to the busy manager who smiled, made peppy banter and checked on us and the bartender who handled the constant slam of orders with confidence and calm. The cons: 30 minute wait for a table, mediocre food, lousy grade of meats (steak had an unappetizing silver skin on the fat, $25.39). The boneless wings in Buffalo sauce ($15.49) were gobs of deep fried coating, little discernible chicken and definitely not Buffalo sauce. They did offer ranch or bleu cheese dressing, a pro move. My son had the Crispy Crispers ($17.39), chicken fingers, fries and a ramekin of mac n cheese. He was happy, this is what he wanted for dinner. Should've ordered the fajitas, Chili's used to be good at that. You pay at the table on a sticky little device. 1.75 stars for food 4.85 stars for service Blended score of 3 stars - a gift - because the staff is so nice and too hard-working

I came here for dinner with a group of friends. Good thing we joined the yelp waitlist ahead of time before arriving, otherwise it would've been a long wait outside the restaurant. When we arrived, it was exactly our turn and we were seated right away. We all came here for their drinks which was kind of average in my opinion. We also ordered a little bit of food, which was also a little average. The food was really filling though. The server was really nice, he kept coming back and check up on us. Would only come back here once in a long while.

Parking can be a little sparse, but if you're down to walk a block or two, you're set. Service is simple and easy. Walk in, order at the bar, and grab a buzzer that lights up and vibrates when your food's ready. The space itself is very cool. Tons of big TVs playing sports, rows of pinball machines ready to eat your quarters, and a laid-back vibe that makes it perfect for hanging out. And the food? It HITS. Huge, juicy wings sauced to absolute perfection. Definitely do half-and-half for max flavor fun. The burger also delivers -- super juicy and made me feel borderline primal while sipping a cold beer. Only hiccup was asking for pepper jack and getting blue cheese instead, but the bar was super apologetic and comped us a free beer for the mix-up. Shoutout to them for that. The beer menu leans lighter, crisper, and a little sweeter, with lots of lagers and ciders. Everything I tried was genuinely tasty. Overall, like I said... I'm absolutely coming back to work my way through the rest of their food and beer lineup.

We were previously fans of Local Kitchens (LK) from trying other locations in the past. Over the years since they opened, the menu has changed a bit. There are still some of the original partners, but there has also been some turnover. Square Pie Guys and Boba Guys are two staples that are still available. This has become one of our favorite spots to get pizza in the area. The thick crispy crust is some of the best, and we like the wings too! Other newer options include a Sonoran-inspired menu from Chef Rick Martinez with dishes such as: Chips & Frijoles, a Jalapeño Ranch Wedge Salad, Carne Asada Taco, Chicken and Vegetable Adobada Tacos and Burritos, Rice Plates and Berry Dessert Nachos. The tacos are pretty tasty, and we recently tried the salad -- I have to say it was surprisingly spicy. This from people who order everything spicy, both the wifey and I made comments about the mouth tingles it gave us. The order comes with two pieces; make sure to eat them as soon as possible, as they will get wilted from all the dressing and sauces. There's a middle-eastern style menu from Israeli Chef Einat Admony with dishes like: Black Garlic Cauliflower, Homemade Hummus and falafel, and pita bread. They have a very tasty Amba Chicken that you can get in a Pita wrap, Rice Plate, or Hummus Plate. You can also get the aforementioned options with their Housemade Green Falafel. My wife is a huge fan of the yellow Amba Aioli, and we love to get the cauliflower dish with the black garlic sauce, even if we don't get anything else from that menu. If you're looking for a burger, look no further than their collab with Chef Alvin Cailan. On this menu, you can get the signature SOB Burger (regular, hot, or with bacon), a double ("The Overachieving SOB Burger"), fries, a Molasses Chocolate Chunk Cookie. We really like their burgers, and were even invited to the launch of this menu, where we got to meet Chef Alvin and watch a live demonstration of him making his famous SOB burger! While they no longer have Proposition Chicken by name, they do have a rebranded version featuring Chef Ari Feingold, who is the Executive Chef and Owner of Prop Chicken. The menu is a little different, featuring options like: Fried Chicken Tenders, The Fried (and spicy) Chicken Sandwich, Fried Chicken Salads, and "Prop Spiced Fries". We are big fans of the Prop seasoning. It's really good on the fries, and I love ordering the chicken tenders since they use it on them, and the breading reminds me more of a fish & chip taste, which I love! Each of the places has their own selection of sauces that you can add to the dish, or order extras of on the side. Most of them are $1/each, aside from the Mike's Hot Honey ($1.50) and the Pecan Salsa Macha Norteña ($2). A moment of silence for some of the Opening Day options that are no longer available at the San Bruno location: The Melt, Sushirrito, Nopalito Taqueria, Humphry Slocombe, Milk Bar. The staff has always been very friendly when coming in, greeting us with a smile. The food tends to be ready on the early side of the estimate when placing orders on the LK app. There have been times (including our recent Super Bowl order) where items (mostly sauces) have been missing. We always make sure to do a quick check inside the dining room or in the car before taking off. This most recent time we were missing several sauces, but the guy at the counter was super accommodating and eventually got us everything we paid for. Thanks LK for always churning out reliable quality food -- we look forward to new menus dropping soon, and hopefully more fun launch parties! @bbnem.eats

I enjoyed the Elvis pancakes--named for the fact that they're made with peanut butter, honey, and bananas. The flavor profile was good, but the pancakes were chewy and dry. I enjoyed the flavors, which is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1. Beyond that, the service was not great. Our table was dirty and while the server said she would come clean it for us, she never did. The table only had one set of silverware and I was never brought any during our meal, I had to grab them off of an adjacent table. We were not given water, or asked if we wanted any, and our server checked in on us so infrequently that we had to flag down a different one just to ask for water. The prices were fine. However, they also forgot the BBQ sauce that was supposed to come with it, which would have been a nice touch. The patty was a bit on the salty side. All the meals had fries on the side, with the giants burger coming with garlic/parmesan fries.

FINALLY got to come to try a pizookie (and honestly got to try a loooott of everything else…read morehahaha). I was running a little bit late, so I don't know what everyone ordered but " we basically got one of everything" so that sounded comprehensive. I always expected this place to be more mediocre quality because it's a chain - but I was pleasantly surprised that most of the food was pretty good (for a chain). combine with late hours BJ's is a super choice for late night munchies or post-concert grub. My favorite were the sliders, but honestly would get the appetizer spread again with friends. The Pazooki part, however, wasn't as stellar as my friends were hoping because allegedly the cookies and cream version wasn't as good. My take is that it was wayyyyy smaller than I expected (how it feels like to be a woman lol jk). I'd come back for the late night hours (especially with Chili's closing at 10pm) - so it's great to have this option in the Peninsula.

Hello, I'm writing…read moreto report a very disappointing experience at BJ's Restaurant while celebrating my twin daughters' 4th birthday. We arrived around 2:00 PM and experienced long delays--our children's food took about 40 minutes, and our meals came even later. Items were missing from our order, and it took additional time to receive them. Although another server stepped in and was helpful, our assigned server (AJ) became visibly upset when we requested our birthday desserts to-go, acted unprofessionally, and made disrespectful remarks. Manager Eva Lucero did apologize, but the situation continued when the server returned and behaved inappropriately, which was unacceptable. To make matters worse, other tables seated after us were served much faster. This experience negatively impacted what should have been a special celebration. I would appreciate this being addressed, as I also requested a refund that was not resolved.
