The ethereal nostalgia felt by this establishment is like none other. After abandoning chilis for around a decade I found myself in a unique position where my ex roommates unanimously decided to dine at our local chilis franchise. From miles away I could see the beaming red chili in all its glory, and like moths to a light our Uber brought us to this iconic restaurant. Excitement rushed through my body as our hostess sat us down and eloquently handed us our menus. The food options were delectable and diverse, but what caught my eye was none other than the chilis 3 for me deal! "Wow in this economy?!" I thought, I was inspired by the commitment of this company to feed America's hardworking honest money citizens, I was honored to order this dish, truly. As I bit into the Nashville chicken crispers, the most instinctual, passionate, almost carnal reaction completely blinded my psyche, before I knew it...the chicken was gone. Not only was this dinner delicious, but we were serenaded with two birthday celebrations for our neighboring tables. Service was great had a young lady that waited on us . There were times we tried waving her down but she was so much in deep conversation with another blonde head older woman. I can actually say this was the first time we werent happy with the food . Question are people using hairnets in kitchen.My daughter had a mushroom swiss burger and when she bit into it it was hair hanging from the tomatoe which grossed our whole table out ,because we didnt want nothing else out the kitchen we decided to get our deserts to go. We paid our bill and we even tipped the girl. When we got home and start to eat our cookie and ice cream opened the vanilla ice cream another piece of hair . We then just threw out all leftovers and deserts. We knew it wasnt our waiter because ahe had blonde hair. The hairs in our burger and ice cream was short and black . I like the special deals 3 for meal for one including starter, drink, and main course. For the starter, if you choose tortilla chips, you will get a full basket of it. (very generous!) For the main courses, burgers and sandwiches are served with a generous amount of fries. For the drink (fountain), it is refillable. You can get pretty decent food with good price. Racist much? This is the second time my mom and I have been here in the past few weeks. First time, we were given one menu only in Spanish. Other tables had one menu each. We don't even speak Spanish. We were told they didn't have more menus because they were busy. Place seemed 50% capacity. Second time, place was less than 10% capacity. The hostess wiped down the table but did not wipe down the seats. There were still spilt food on the chairs/booth. I wiped them down because the hostess disappeared fast. We were again given just one menu. At least it's English this time. I asked for another menu and was refused. No excuse given this time. Server said to use the machine on the table. The screen was never sanitized. When I asked if it was sanitized, server said yes. I really wanted to leave at that point but we were tired and already had full day with doctor appointments, so we stayed. Two white men came after we already placed our orders. A few years ago, I said I'd never eat at this location again. Tonight I remembered why. If you don't want to read the rest, I still haven't and won't forget why anymore. Our family is trying to give restaurants in our area some business, and the kids suggested Chili's. When we walked in, we waited a few minutes to have our name put on the list, then told it would be 30-35 minutes because there were only 2 servers. Totally fine-I get it. But I noticed there were two hosts who kept walking back and forth between everyone who was waiting. We sat on a bench away from the family of 3 and the other couple also waiting to be seated. 10 minutes later, a family of 4 walked in, as well as 2 others in a separate party. The names went on the list, and the children in the family of 4 walked past us with masks down (they were over 8 years old) towards the bathroom. At that point a server approached us and asked US to wait outside or in our car because they were at capacity. I asked why us when there were others behind us and she said she's going to ask them, too. So we walked out and waited for 3 minutes until I called another local restaurant to check their availability and left to eat there and had a very short wait and a great meal . I wanted to see how long my wait would be at Chili's so I didn't cancel it. They texted me 33 minutes after taking my name, so the 1 star is because it was within the initially-stated time frame. read more

I hope it stays that way. Food 5/5, though the cookie skillet had a bit too much hot fudge. I have a sweet tooth but even that was a bit overwhelming for me. Their 2 for $25 deal is always a go-to whenever my mother and I come here for dinner. It's pretty great for its value since you get an appetizer to share, one entree per person (selection is alright), and for dessert you get to choose between cheesecake or the cookie skillet, which comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and hot fudge drizzled over the cookie. Service this time was actually quite attentive and friendly, while previous visits were a little sub-par. I hope this remains as consistent as their food quality. Their food is nothing to complain about at all -- in fact, my mom and I really like their sirloin steaks here (cooked medium-rare). It comes with a side of broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes (bacon, cheese, and green onions). The general manager came around checking on everybody and asked us if the food was alright. Absolutely the worst Chili's i've ever been to. Flat beers and heated up food. Nothing is fresh. Service is horrible. Got our meals without utensils and napkins before we even got our drinks. I will say, I am not a huge fan of their lunches and or dinners. I've eaten here in the past (way past) and was never really a aficionado of their meal selections. A friend of mine always rants and raves about their Happy Hour Menu, loves their specials and also mentioned that they crowd is a bit on the cool side. After a day of "Hard Labor", we decided to come here and watch the 7th Game of the World Series. Well she decided but I agreed to trail. I will say one, it was packed at the bar yet as soon as we entered a table freed up at the bar!! Score! Do, we sit order our 1st round of drinks and of course some grub. - 5.00 16oz (I think) beers, winning! -Chips and Salsa warm extra-thin corn tostada chips with fresh Guac! I had to update the last year Chili's review. I was shocked I got excellent service at the Service Pickup for online Orders. I wish I look at her name tag, but shes Caucasian, red hair (I think) wears glaases & kinda on the not so chubby, but chubby side. I had her open the gigantic bag to make sure I got everything I ordered. She did NOT give me an attitude & said, "I glad to do it, if it was my FOOD, I'd do the ssme." It preserved your food until you got home and the stopped using those paper type brown recycle Containers that sucked out all the flavor from your Food!!! The 2 for $25 Deal was the best, way better than Apple Bee's (sorry Apple Bee's) but you've let me down 2x in a row already, like your burnt artichoke dip) The 6oz Sirlion Steak has melted butter on top like I would make it at home, and the House 1/2 BBQ Ribs was fall off the bone has good seasoning. Then the $25 came with your one Appetizer of choice two sides!!! For $1 buck more, the Asparagus garlic & baby tomatoes was really good.. The loaded mashed potatoes has always been good, not so good on the waistline. Haha.... The Cold Slaw was acceptable, this could use a face lift, like add some Fresh Herbs. But may bring up price, so it's okay, I always have Cilantto & Parsley in Fridg. We havent been to Chilis for almost a year because of the lockdown and today is our first dinner for 2021. We were told to wait outside and will get a text within 20-30mins when our table is ready. We were indeed seated after 30 mins, the worker at the door was really nice. We ordered the 2 for 25 meal, steak fajitas and pizza/fries. Unbeatable value for the money and generous food portion. The servers are all friendly esp the MANAGER ON DUTY who also served us "IAN" :) He went the extra mile to make sure that he got our orders correct, checking if we need anything and how we like our food. He even sent us home with more chips and salsa and free dessert! They are strictly following social distancing, all are wearing mask and everyone seemed to be enjoying their dinner or just happy to have the chance to eat out at a restaurant again :) Always LOVED Chilis but today was by far the best service we ever had at this location in San Bruno. When you ask to be prompt to a representative, someone actually does answer the phone. BUT... guess what?! They do not take phone orders because the representative says they are CLOSED!! My least favorite Chilis they're always under staffed and the staff they have aren't that friendly. One of the staff there also stole my Air Pods 2 case that was on the table. I left when they were closing and mistakenly left it on the table. I went back and the doors were locked so I figured il just grab it the following day. I ate here was about 15 years ago and wanted to go again because I never forgot their Lava Cake desert. That did not disappoint. Nor did the hamburgers. They were very good. The fries not so much, nor the Margarita (overly sour sweet, no taste of alcohol at all.) Also, I thought they have chips and salsa but that never came out. Service was okay. We asked for some utensils that never came, but overall not bad. If that was all they would get 4 stars. I was starving but there was NO WAY that I could have finished the massive burger n fries I ordered here...no way! Large portions...good food (a little greasy but uh it is CHILI'S! - expect it!) and stiff drinks....did me in and that was that. Called it a night. We visited Chili's in Prescott Valley, AZ for our anniversary a week ago and I have to comment on our server, Jordan. He was a busy server, handling many tables but he had a calmness about him and a cheerfulness that made our visit even better! He was engaging and efficient. The blinds on the window seemed jammed up but he even took the time to climb on a stool and fix them so the sun wouldn't interfere with our meal time.
