I live in Salina so I've been to Chili's my fair share and it's always good service, but today was exceptional... My daughter and I went for lunch and were eating the delicious chips and salsa when she discovered something very unappetizing in her water. I notified our waitress and she immediately brought a new one with apologies. Later, the manager comes over and tells us she took my daughter's meal and the chips off of our ticket. Then she brings out to my daughter a balloon, 2 decks of playing cards, and a coupon for a free kids meal. I've seen places go to extreme measures to satisfy very rude customers because they can just be plain mean to the staff. But I wasn't mad at all and they still went to extreme measures to make sure we weren't deterred by this one situation. It was the best service we've had from Chili's. read more

I am a huge Chili's fan usually (great variety of yummy options for family dining) but we were so disappointed at this particular Chili's! Kid's pizza was burned, and two adult entrees (chicken crispers and fajitas) were undercooked. Our server, Michelle, was AMAZING throughout it all and apologized profusely. The manager comped our meals, got us replacement meals, and gave us several coupons. When we got our replacement meals, the Southwestern egg rolls were *still* undercooked and not even completely filled. I guess we just assumed that they would give us their highest quality "replacement" meals but this one was still poorly done. We travel through Salina several times a year but will unfortunately never return to this Chili's, but the other Chili's in north Texas will still have our business. ***Chili's corporate*** Based on reviews, it might be time to do some intervention at this site. read more

I would give our sever a 4,. Food was mediocre and the prices were ridiculous. Mac and cheese out of a box with broccoli, $6? A soda $2.50! My salad had so much dressing on it, I needed a spoon to eat it. Food coming out of the kitchen very slow. read more

I dined by myself and I always go at odd times because I hate crowds. I walked in and sat at the bar. I was the only one there at the bar. Waited 10 minutes for anybody to acknowledge me. Ordered a margarita and food, never saw bartender again until my food came which was 25 minutes later. Another two minutes and I would've just put money down for my cocktail and left. This restaurant wasn't busy at all, less than half full and no reason to get service this bad. I left two stars because the food was actually pretty good but portion size was very small for the price I paid. Was 1:30 on Sunday afternoon and now know why they weren't busy if this was the norm. This Chili's used to be good many years ago (like when they first opened and up to around 2005) I don't know what happened, but they went downhill & never recuperated. I used to like their salads, now they are tiny with less toppings. The to go container is huge, but the lettuce barely covered the bottom. There could have been 3x the salad in there. The chips were way, way over salted. I have given them a third chance (cause I was also disappointed with the second chance I gave them last year,) but won't be going back. read more

We sat for 45 minutes before they even took our order then it took them another 30 minutes before they brought our food out my steak was burnt when I asked for medium rear our waitress was very aggressive I would not go here!!! read more

LOVE this place. I always get the Cajun chicken pasta and it's yummy! Kid friendly kids menu's that aren't cheap but not insanely overpriced considering the amount of food they get. Our kiddos love the Grilled Cheese or the Chicken Crispers with corn on the cob or fries! If going through on a weekend, definitely call for reservations or expect to wait a bit for a table. We called when we are about 30 minutes away from Salina and they had our table ready when we arrived! Took a large group there once for a Girl Scout troop trip and they were amazing. A group of 25 and they got everyone's food correct, the wait wasn't long, and no complaints from the girls or moms. I was really impressed! The chocolate lava cake is really good too! read more

Worst Chili 's experience ever! One entree took so long that the other diner had already finished by the time it came. Shrimp looked undercooked and we gave up and just ate the pasta it was served with. Steak was very tough. Manager apologized and comped one meal. We will avoid this location in the future. read more

I placed a phone in/carry out order at the Salina, Ks Chili's and when I got to the restaurant after 30 min to get my food they had not even submitted my order! They then placed my order, told me it would be 15 minutes; they did not offer to compensate or discount my meal for my trouble and the extra wait time. Very disappointed in my experience, will NOT be returning anytime soon. read more

Came here for a quick meal in the bar area and watched the bartender run around like a chicken with its head cut off with no value to the customers. She kept say I only have 1 pen so for her take the order we had to wait till other customers used the pen to pay their bill. Buy some pens you would have saved me 20 minutes in my life that was lost over a pen. Better yet here's a pen. read more

Was excited about eating there because they say online that they have a gluten free menu and are allergy friendly. I knew I was in trouble when I asked for a gluten free menu and the server looked like a deer caught in the headlights. Finally returned with GF menu after asking a manager or someone. Ordered very specifically as I always do...food came and absolutely nothing like what I ordered, had 3 ingredients I specifically did not want. I made a tiny bit of a scene and a manager was back in five minutes with what I actually ordered. Asked for avocado which was happy to pay extra for, 3 tiny slices of avocado on the plate. Food allergies are very serious and if Chili's is going to advertise as allergy friendly, the least they could do is educate and train the staff. Another aside...when we were finished eating a very rude and loud manager came and grabbed our dishes and loudly said 'thanks for coming, see you later" I guess at that point we knew our table time was up, no worries we won't be back. read more

We arrived around 9pm after a long day of driving. The restaurant didn't have a lot of patrons. The hostess spoke in a low voice and wasn't overly friendly. She sat us at a high top in the bar and, dropped the menus and didn't say another word. I said thank you and not a peep. Waitress came by and wasn't overly friendly. Took our beer order. It took almost 10 minutes for our beers to arrive. We watched them sitting at the bar. We watched our server talking and laughing at another table that didn't appear to be hers. friends maybe or regulars. In the meantime, another server brought our beers over. She finally came by and took our order. We got the dinner for 2 deal. Food was ok. Nothing to brag about. Our chips and salsa app wasn't that great. Chips were a little stale and the salsa,which I think was supposed to chipotle tasted more like just a medium hot sauce. We didn't finish it. The first few bites of my sirloin were good them it wasn't. My husband got the chipotle tilapia and it was tasty. We ate most of our food before asked how everything was. Didn't bother saying anything at that point. Server became a little friendlier after we asked about dessert and she made a good recommendation. Wouldn't recommend this store. read more
