    The Trust Me sandwich.

The vibe of this place was amazing! A dive bar with generous pours. Excellent sandwiches as well. A must stop if you're in Lindsborg!

Ol STUGA! A staple of the LBK community! My fave drink/ shot would have to be a buttery nipple (thank me later). Pool! Music! Sports! Golf game! And the infamous beer garden

A friend tipped me off to the "Trust Me" sandwich. It's not on the menu and I'm not 100% sure what was on it, or if it's the same thing every time you order it, but it was amazing! I believe mine had corned beef, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, jalapenos, etc The cook confirmed that I liked spicy food before he started making mine. The only thing holding me back from rating this five stars is that the bar was smokey from the kitchen, but I would absolutely come back here again if I make my way back to Lindsburg, KS "Little Sweden."

Just you're basic neighborhood bar where everybody knows your name. The staff was great and the locals were very friendly. Also had great sandwiches!

Remember it is a bar not a restaurant. Good service good food. Set in a quaint downtown district.

Love this place and it's been around forever - it's iconic! Make sure you try the Brent Nelson sandwich. A must stop while in Lindsborg.

I love this place. Very hometown feel. Nothing fancy or spectacular, just honest drinking in a small town bar.

Try their Brent Nelson sandwich, or the best Reuben you've ever had from Mark's tiny "kitchen".

Locals recommendation for dinner…read more We have been working in nearby McPherson and have eaten at all the possible restaurants and needed a change. Steak house immediately caught our attention. We had a group of eight and were immediately seated in the back. It's a big restaurant for sure. Tables and booths and a bar in the back. They had a fried chicken buffet but we ended up eating off the menu. I could see a lot of locals immediately went for the buffet and salad bar. We had ribeye dinner. Pretzel bun burger. Chicken fried steak and rye burger. Everything was delicious and made fresh to order with salads and sides. Service was nice and attentive. We had a couple of Swedish type drinks. Too sweet but good flavor.

The food was incredible. The owner is also the chef and we met her mother who helps out in the dinning room from time to time. Amazing people with a passion for food and service. We started with the Smorgas and it was delicious. My wife ordered the Kottbullar (Swedish meatballs) a first for us other than my grandmothers recipe from Sweden. She loved it! Her side was the Artsoppa, Swedish yellow pea soup. Flavorful and hearty, yum! I had the Lamp Chops with a side of Farskpotatis (Swedish dill potatoes). The lamb entree was heavenly as it was accompanied by pistachio crusted goat cheese and blanched spinach in a garlic butter sauce. The lamp chose were perfectly cooked. We learned the lamp comes in fresh from Blazefork Farm from Inman KS. My wife and I will make this one hour trip monthly just to partake in this culinary delight. The service was excellent.

Aghhhhh! It's a lot. I spent a lot of time just staring at the menu, trying to figure out what I wanted. I landed on the Korean Tacos, which is marinated beef bulgogi, red peppers, scallions, peanuts, wontons and gochujang sauce, all in soft flour tortillas. You get two tacos in each order. They were good but very sweet! I wasn't a fan of the flour tortilla. The people at my table ordered a couple of appetizers -- one of which I loved. The fried burrata was a big ball of cheese hanging out in a dish of vodka sauce, topped with cashew pesto, parm and served with crostini. It was lovely, and I wish I would have just ordered this and ate it all myself. We sat outside on the outdoor patio, which I would not recommend during the summer. There were so many flies! The restaurant did have some fan-things they put on the tables to shoo the flies away, but they only did so much. Next time, I think I'll just sit inside.
