Disclaimer. I hate chain restaurants. They have boring food, most don't really care about their customers, and they are anything but appreciative like Mom and Pop restaurants are. Horrible! This place was just so dirty. I killed 2 ants on the table, there was a spider hanging from there light on it's web. There was a cockroach on the lamp glass. Service was not very good had to ask multiple times to receive my items. Restrooms were decent but not too good. One of the waiters was somewhat rude he had a snobby attitude. When he called us up the first time he told me "Mark? I said no and then my name". He then proceeds to say "No, your table is not ready I never called your name when we call you when it's your turn" so I went to go sit down. The second time he tells us our table is ready again (I got the notification on my phone so me and my party went up again and nope got told the same thing. I'm not a fan of chilis, but our server Ian made this trip to chilis the best we've ever had. He was so attentive, courteous, and welcoming. He went above and beyond unlike any other server at that Chili's has ever done and we greatly appreciate it. Our server was good and very apologetic, however whatever was happening in the prep / cook area was horrible! I don't know if they were short staffed , we were seated upon walk in so it was not busy. We did not get our chips and salsa nor side salad until our food came. Three other tables of customers left before their food also. One of our meals was dry and hard so we did not eat that meal. This place is racists 100% waited hour and half to seat 10 of us. As we get in in they want to separate us into groups and yet they had a group of 11 sitting together in the bat area. Came to celebrate my son's promotion. We ordered two lunch fajitas and a kids chicken tenders. We all enjoyed our food but our server (name unknown) was not what we expected. I believe she had too many tables and wasn't able to keep up. We had the pleasure of meeting Peyton (a runner), who was bringing out drinks, food, etc. and whatever else any customers asked of her. We came during lunch and when we were seated it was empty. Within 30 minutes the lunch crowd came in. I watched the restaurant's occupancy nearly triple and she still continued to greet every one with a smile. Overall she was very polite and worked so fast and efficiently. He was very impatient I wish I got his name. My family and I have been coming here for years now. We really haven't had what you would call a favorite server, that is until we had the pleasure of getting seated in Wyatt's section. We have now known Wyatt for going on 4 years he is by far the best server we have ever had. We refer all our friends and family to ask for him if he is working. I used to go to Chili's a lot when I was younger and I was pretty excited to go back since I hadn't been in awhile. My mistake...this place is a joke. It was me, my wife, our 14 year old son and year and a half old daughter. Check in and the wait were ok but the hostess wasn't being very honest. She told me "a couple minutes" but it was 20-25 at least. The couple next to us in the waiting area were told "just a few minutes" and were getting ready to leave after 20 minutes. So already I was thinking they must be a little disorganized but no big deal. Well after seating (by the to go door, which was cold but would end up being the least of my concerns) we wait about 5-7 minutes before our server comes and we order our drinks, an appetizer and my daughter's food so she doesn't get restless. Drinks took about 10 minutes to get to us and it was only water, iced tea and lemonade....but they didn't have lemonade so the server had to take even more time to get my son's drink. Hey, maybe if they used the lemon from tea that I specifically said I didn't want they could make lemonade. But anyway, 10 minutes for drinks was dumb but whatever. We order meals for myself, my wife and son. Meanwhile, the family next to us has chicken that isn't cooked properly so they tell the server. We wait... And wait....get our appetizer about 20 minutes after we order it and even though we asked for a full order it looks pretty light. And the presentation is awful since they spilled the ranch dressing all over the thing. Also, although we ordered first and asked it brought out sooner, no chicken pasta for my daughter yet so we give her some crackers and french fries to help keep her calm. The family next to us still hasn't gotten a replacement order for that uncooked chicken... Food comes out about 25 minutes after we ordered it. Not too bad except my wife's is cold and mine is both wrong and cold. I usually don't say much but I don't want wrong AND cold especially after what has already happened. We find the server and have him take my food back. For the next 35-40 minutes he proceeds to tell us every so often that it is "almost ready". I finally say I don't want it anymore and take it off the bill and just give me the check. He apologizes and leaves to go do that. Oh hey, remember the uncooked chicken for the family next to us? They got a re-cooked meal but it took so long they wanted it to go. Because they got a meal deal they wanted their desserts to go as well. Then they asked for some drinks to go. So one person takes the meal and goes to box it up, another brings desserts out unboxed and then has to take them back, another person brings out refills in regular cups. So now the family is annoyed and the wife is looking at the bill and it is wrong too. So she gets mad, takes the kid and goes to the car for the husband to figure out. He finally gets all the food to go and is waiting for the drinks but he is standing by the to go desk right next to where they were sitting. So someone comes with to go drinks, doesn't see him and then takes the drinks back and leaves them somewhere because, as the server explains, "she thought you left". Wonderful service here. So finally our guy comes with the check. He had taken my meal off but says it was done and he will have it boxed to go. That was a nice gesture by him but we were charged for lemonade, which they didn't have, so uh...what? But by now I just say I'll pay whatever. I'm annoyed enough with the whole thing I just don't care and even him throwing in the free food wasn't helping the case. I hand a gift card and my credit card to him and he leaves. He comes back and says my gift card wouldn't work so he had to type in the numbers. And? That sounded strangely like a complaint about something I have no control over from a dude working for a place that has done nothing but ruin my family's night out. So I pay and leave. I have a headache from not eating and dealing with this junk so I just want to go home. Oh and when I get to my car I check the to-go order he gave me....it was cold. read more

This chilis has lost its way, customer service ain't the way it used to be since after the pandemic, let alone the 2 to 5 dollar price increases on favorite dishes ... chips and salsa had 2 price changes from what I remember now sitting at 6 and some change with a small little tub of salsa for a huge bag of chips(NOW THEY CHARGE EXTRA FOR SALSA) their burgers were 15 and some chnage now damn near almost 20 and some change.. this used to be a quick little spot to go to with family when looking for something reasonable but just like other greedy businesses out there this one has fallen to it as well. Won't be surprised if this franchise starts falling off the map. Thank you but no thank you if I'm gonna pay high prices for burgers rather just go to a quality burger joint. We sat at the tables in the bar area and service was extremely slow. My husband asked for more water and she didn't come back for at least 20 mins without water so he had to go up to the bar to get his own water refilled. We also like to get extra sauce on the side so we made it a point to ask for them when she took our order but of course they didn't bring any of them so we had to ask every time they come by for extra sauce/dressing and they would take so long that our food was cold by then. If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would! Went here cause Applebees was packed. No wait (for a good reason) and it took almost 30 minutes for a server to even ask us if we want waters. My wife ordered a margarita and had hairs stuck in the sugar rim dip around the damn glass! We ordered the honey chipotle chicken crispers and literally only received breading and didn't get any chicken. The only thing they got right was the skillet cookie. My order was cold! Condensation in the container meant the steam had long subsided. I wouldn't have been disappointed at the time had my food been warm, shoot even lukewarm. The decision to come to Chilli's today was solely based on the fact that they have mini touch pads at the tables. My wife and I figured if the kids had something to keep them busy, her and I could enjoy our dinner, w/o too many distractions from the kids. The last time we came I didn't write a review and we had a great server named "Michael." I should have written a great review on his service that day, but didn't. I get a second chance on this visit because we were lucky enough to have Michael as our server again. He was very attentive to our needs and was fast and accurate with our orders. My wife ordered the chicken fajitas and I ordered their new Honey-Chipotle Shrimp & Sirloin. It comes with asparagus (tasty) and crispy fries. The steak was cooked to my perfection and was very easy to cut. The sauce they used had a nice sweet/spicy balance. The shrimp was also pretty good, my only complaint is I wish I would have gotten more shrimp. I believe it came with about six. For an $18.95 meal I might go with a different option next time I visit Chilli's. They have better food to offer at lower prices. read more

My mom and I went out to eat and I try to always surprise her with a new eating place each time. So, off I go to take her to this place called On The Border. I pull up and walk in and wondered why the place had changed so much since the last time I was here. Then I look at the sign and it says Chili's. Hmmmm, I must be getting old. Our chili was good, coulda been hotter and the ribs for my mom were superb. My mom actually ate all of them. She never eats everything...she always gets some for takeout. One of the reviews below mentions this place being racist and I believe that is true to some extent. A family member and myself went in during lunch time around 1pm on a Saturday post covid restrictions. Upon our arrival, we were greeted kindly and chose to sit at the bar area since we were told it would be a longer wait for a booth in the regular dining area. The server we got was also polite and took our drink orders. We then noticed that the food server (different than the regular server) had a bad attitude when she brought out our drinks. I didn't pay much attention to it at first since they seemed short staffed but also weren't very busy. I then noticed an older Caucasian couple was sat shortly after us in the same bar area. After we put in our food order we were hoping to get our appetizer (chips and guacamole) before our food versus all together. That same food server (woman with a dark haired ponytail) brought us our guacamole and said she forgot our chips and would bring them right out. Once again, she seemed to have attitude towards us and it didn't surprise me that the chips were never brought to us until I mentioned it to our server who walked past us. Our guacamole had been sitting out for at least a few minutes and I noticed that same food server had brought out chips to the older Caucasian couple who was sat after us. It was clear as day that we weren't receiving the same treatment as other guests who were there. We still left a tip since the server in the bar area as well as the male food server who brought out or entrees treated us well overall. However, that form of treatment from the woman with the dark haired ponytail serving food was unacceptable and shouldn't be tolerated anywhere. I regret not walking away, taking my money elsewhere and letting the manager know as soon as we noticed our chips were never brought out to us. My family and I have lived in Rancho for the past 18 years and I've never felt such form of discrimination at any other restaurant for no apparent reason. We will never come back to this particular Chili's. I would say be aware of how other guests are being treated in comparison to you if you decide to come here and go elsewhere once something doesn't seem right. read more

So, everyone pretty much knows this is just your neighborhood restaurant found on almost any restaurant row or heavy populated outdoor mall, but nevertheless I think it was worthy of a review. We went into this restaurant on Tuesday in hopes of getting the all-you-can-eat enchiladas. We had seen the commercial advertisement the previous week and finally got a chance to drop in. Unfortunately by the time we made it in the advertisements had stopped and there was no mention of it when the server laid out the specials. We decided to take a chance and ask about it anyway. The server said he did not know if it was still available but he would check. When he returned we were told that although it it was no longer being advertised, his manager said they were still honoring the special until further notice. (Rancho Cucamonga location) We of course were extremely happy and ordered right away. I was glad we did. It was 3 enchiladas of your choice served with rice and black beans. The next round was 2 enchiladas minus the rice and beans. The taste was pretty good, not super special but definitely well worth the price of $9.99. While we waited for our main course we were served botomless hot crispy chips and salsa which were very good! I personally love the chips because they are super thin. If you get a chance stop in, ask for the special and if the server is not sure if it's still available, have him check with the manager. Enjoy! read more

This place has consistently went downhill. I will never spend another dollar in this establishment. I waited 20-25 minutes in the car and no one came out. I finally go inside and I'm told they're just bagging up my order. I take the order back to the car to check it and it's ice cold. I asked for a refund and that takes 48-72 hours. I came to this location with my husband the day after Xmas. The restaurant was full and busy, with a wait time of 30 to 45 minutes. We waited but then managed to snag 2 seats right at the bar. What a great choice we made. Both of the bartenders working at the bar were very attentive. We ordered a few drinks since it was happy hour and some appetizers. Our drinks came out promptly and our appetizers were awesome. Their boneless buffalo wings and fried pickles are so good! Afterwards, we decided to order a sandwich and the bartender offered to have it split for my hubby and I. The California turkey club sandwich was delicious and so were the fries it came with. We couldn't finish all of it but overall we encountered excellent service. I would rather go to this Chilis location than another local location because service has always been great here. read more

First off the hostess didn't say a word when we came in last night . Not a hi or for how many nothing. First red flag. Waiter was so nice on the other hand . But the cooks don't know how to do they're job. Ordered Cajun shrimp pasta the shrimp was raw. Sent it back took a whole 15 mins just to bring me the same plate in disguise didn't eat it since by that time my table was done and just took a few bites of the pasta since I noticed the shrimp looked the same and took it to go. (Kayla) The server that was working with her was INCREDIBLY rude. We had a drink that we took a sip of and couldn't drink due to the taste of it. We tried doing what we could to fix the drink and pay the 9 dollars they charge you. This drink ended up making my cousin sick and couldn't finish her meal. I asked the man if he could please take it off since it was CLEARLY not drank. He then gave me the RUDEST attitude that the poor new server apologized at least 3 times. If you're trying to be a manager sir. you're so so far from being one. I would talk to your servers about the way they speak to people when they are dining in. I have been going to this Chili's for years, but I don't think I'll be returning. I have been hearing around town that the service here has gone down hill, and last night I saw this for myself. I ordered a to-go order and went in, it was a very long wait, but that wasn't the issue I had. The issue was that I was rudely treated and ignored by the gentlemen that was supposed to be helping me out. I don't think he was a manager, he was younger and dressed in all black. When I say ignored, I mean I asked him the same question two times point blank, and he refused to look at me, or acknowledge me. He ended up acknowledging me, then turning back to help out another customer who came in after me. I wanted to throw the food on the floor and walk out. Never anticipated leaving a review for Chilis let alone a 5 star review. Truly I was amazed, within 12 minutes of entering the building we had been sat, ordered, and had our food brought to our table. The food was all hot, all of our edits were right and it was the best tasting we've had at Chilis in a long time. The staff were all helpful and attentive, I can't remember the name of our server but he handled not just our table but all the tables in his section wonderfully. Burger and chicken. surprised that to-go is as good as eating in. There is not much to say about Chili's that will be profound. This used to be my favorite place to eat when I was in college. As I got older and paid closer attention to what I ate, the food became less appealing. We came here after a Sunday family bowl day and it was just fine. The place wasn't crowded at all and despite our party of 8, our service was fast and friendly. She stayed on top of everything and there was never an issue with empty cups. The only issue they kept having was something with one of the soda machines. I believe some folks from other tables complained as well but outside of that, everything was fine.
