They can't seat us do to a lack of servers, told a guy just in front of us that they couldn't seat him, too full in that section already ? But in bar every table full and people sitting back to back. Should have known when we walked in to turn around and leave. The person who I assume was the manager was standing on a table " dusting" light fixtures. At least 3 servers were "helping". We waited at least 10 minutes before our server appeared. Fortunately we weren't in a hurry. Our drinks didn't take long but since there was hardly anyone in the place, at least two people that appeared to be managers and 4-5 servers it seemed a little long for beer. Our order came out quickly but the chicken was cold and tough. Perhaps left over from lunch rush- it was 12:45- and microwaved. Our slider burgers were NOT cooked. In addition to this our server appeared to be high as a kite or on some type of medication that I might want to know about. A typical Chili's vibe but the music was way too loud for time of day and noise in the restaurant. I am not old, would like to have a conversation, or perhaps that is why the music is loud. To get you out the door. When we left all but two servers were standing around a booth talking to a friend. Chili's in Paragould. - I went to Chili's in Paragould recently and to say the least it was beyond awful. The dining side was closed, hostess said (they didn't have enough servers to have it open.). Therefore we were seated in bar area. It took quite some time to be served. When food arrived, it was not the best. Much of which was left on plates. In the mean time, it was as cold in there as it was outside. Cold to the point of having goose bumps and shivers. When we checked out we were not offered a discount or apology. We walked out of there and we could not even tell a difference from temp inside. I can say that we will never be back. I was throughly disappointed. Ordered tonight for delivery. Food was old and cold despite the dasher being there for 15 minutes. The fries were inedible because they were like bricks. Half of the hamburger meat was still raw. They added no condiments to the burgers like it was supposed to have, they added no condiments for my sides like they were supposed to have. Awful service. My wife's burger was good, however I ordered nachos that were served burnt. The reorder took 25 minutes (yes we timed it) for what should have taken less than 10. Only 3 other stations in the entire place so they weren't busy. The employees were rarely to be found. A couple stood at the podium for 7 to 8 minutes with no greeting from anyone...so they left. Have literally been sitting here for 25 minutes waiting on an appetizer. After waiting to have our order taken 15 minutes after being seated. The restaurant is about 1/4 occupied with most tables empty and unbussed tables. Ordered a mango margarita but it was pure mixer, so sweet I think I would have gone into a diabetic coma if I drank it. Food came before appetizer. The ribs were dry and stringy. The wing appetizer was ice cold when it arrived. The waitress never checked on us and seemed far more interested in talking to the guys sitting at the bar. We usually go here on Friday or Saturday nights, and sit at the bar. There is always little to no wait. The same girl is always working the bar, she's the best! She's always super attentive (or to the best of her ability, it's always so busy when we go) she never lets us run out of drinks. I always get steak, medium, with fried pickles and my husband gets something different every time. The food is always delicious. The girl working bar on Friday/sat nights definitely needs a raise. This chili's has the worst customer service. We ordered to go once, it was so cold by the time it was delivered that we had to warm everything up in the microwave. Ok fine, could be the delivery drivers fault, who knows. Go in person another time and it took an hour and a half to get our food. Ordered wings another time from "it's just wings", which is operated out of this chili's, and they were all over the place. Their to go signs indicate that someone will be outside. They do not, in fact, come outside. So unless you've been fooled before, you will sit outside indefinitely waiting. When you try to find out what's going on, they are completely indifferent. My wife, myself, and our two children dined in and left completely satisfied. I had the Cajun chicken pasta. It was cooked perfectly and tasted exactly as it should. My wife ordered a 6oz serloin, cooked medium rare. In our previous visits, they had a difficult time preparing the steak correctly, but this time they were spot on. We have ordered a few times for curb side pickup. Most recently Friday. We had the 2 for 20, house salads, we both had the honey chipotle chicken crispers.
