This restaurant's $1.00 Taco Tuesdays are the bomb, especially during lunchtime! The hard taco shells were amazingly fresh and crispy. The chicken inside was juicy, delicious, and satisfying. The iced tea was robust and tasty, but a bit on the pricey side at $3.30 for a cup. Israel was a most excellent waiter; extremely efficient and very proactive! I shall return! read more

Will not go back. I love their taco salads but this is the 3rd time that there is so much water in it that it's uneatable. I took back the first one and they replaced it. The 2nd time I was already home before I opened it. Same with this last time. They do not allow special instructions when you order so you could say, please drain or dry the lettuce first. read more

Stopped by the restaurant while traveling through the area. The restaurant is really nice and has typical decor. The service is good, the only issue we had was the service was a little slow but not too bad. My wife had the carne asada tacos and I had the birria tacos. Both of them were amazing. Food: enchiladas verdes chicken, la Tropicana, comes with free warm chips and fresh salsa. Enchiladas verdes was not on the menu by itself, it was part of a combo but they let me just order that. It came with refried beans and rice. It's a good choice when looking for Mexican food in Jonesboro. Hubby had the La Tropicana which was too sweet and seemed more like an Asian stir fry, but he ordered it. Service: fast and friendly. Or waiter checked on us a few times. I loved to see the are-boo-Dee-boo shout out to persona the sever gave me the perfect amount of ice in my water I love how the chips are warm there was a hobbit village in the top corner of one of the walls there's emo kid in the corner that made us all depressed:( The only thing that disappointed me my whole entire venture to outside of my cave the TV was a 64 inch instead of a 65 inch which is very disappointing I think about probably why the emo kid was emo. they had funky German techno music on, which was very vibeish The were great, especially in corner 36 I brought my PS five in and hooked it up to one of the TVs while I waited and the food didn't take long enough for me to finish my Fortnite game that made me very sad read more

The food here is decent. I love the freshness of everything they serve so far. You receive lots of food for your buck. Every time I've eaten here I was able to eat off my food more than once. I would have given it 5 stars but it's hard to get someone to answer the phones here. I have watched them let the phone ring ring until it stops. I would definitely recommend this spot. Waited 7 minutes at table before anyone said hello. Chips were stale, got chicken, cheese & rice- it came out fast, I'm sure the reason is it was sitting and just thrown on a plate not fresh. Service was poor. Manager came by and ask how my food was, I told him and he just said ..sorry. Didn't even offer to get me fresher chips. The food is okay.The best part of my meal were the grilled vegetables. Their "spicy" mango sauce is more sweet than spice which is pretty gross over fish. The worse part of my experience was the service from Cindy. She never gave us silverware so I actually had to get my own. Their WiFi was down and so no one could pay with a credit card. When I gathered enough cash, which included coins to pay the bill, she rolled her eyes at me and yanked the money from my hands. Another person from my group had to actually go to a bank to get money and she tried to accuse them of doing a "dine-and-dash". That person did return and pay. BTW, other guest of the restaurant were allowed to leave and come back and the staff were thanking them and apologizing to them for the inconvenience. First thing out- appeared to be well visited as Parkkng Lot was well cleared of the recent 10+" Snow. 2nd thing it was after 1:00 so we figured the lunch rush was done and the crowd should be thinned. 3rd due to COVID regs(?) menu was via QR scan at door entering restaurant. Everything should be good for an enjoyable late lunch. Waited 10 minutes after Chips and Salsa were set on table until we inquired about someone to even take our drink order. Another 10 minutes passed- so after 20 minutes invested and NO one inquired about us we now must assume our patronage or dining dollars are not needed here. Suggestion is to go on down the road to Smoke House Bar B Q or Lost Pizza or heck there is a SONIC right next door that I know the customer service is better. Why only three stars for this restaurant?? I would give them more than five if I could!! Looking for a place to eat, we passed Papitos and noticed the full parking lot. So glad we turned around. This place is amazing!! The salsa is very fresh and just the right amount of spices. Our dinners were very generous in portions and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Rancharo and it was oh so good!! Couldn't eat it all. My husband ordered something that had a little of everything. He throughly enjoyed every bit. Papitos, keep doing what you are doing!! It's definitely delicious!! Very clean restaurant and wonderful service. I didn't catch our waiter name, all I know is he was Server 4. I love this restaurant food is great! But... the service is the worst! I always have to wait 20+ mins just to get my order taken. Went at the beginning of the week had to wait 30 mins to get my order, then they brought the food out and we never got silverware. Had to just get a box to go and take it. read more

Mexican food and alcohol, does it get any better? I haven't tried anything yet that I haven't liked. My go to drink is the Walk me Down, it taste like a melted blue popsicle. After ordering, we waited for 35 minutes to get our food. We were told the kitchen skipped our order and they apologized and they asked if we were would like dessert. We ordered dessert and proceeded to wait another 25 minutes to get dessert. We were about to leave when it was delivered to our table. Judging by the melting ice cream, it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while, leading us to believe they forgot about us again. This was my first and last time visiting this establishment. The wait takes forever, the waiters and waitresses do not understand or comprehend anything nor do they work at all. They just stand around talking to eachother, especially at the front desk. Papitos is our new favorite Mexican restaurant in jonesboro!!! The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated. The gentleman who normally works the host stand is very friendly and accommodating. We have only ever had bad service ONCE. The rest of the time, the servers have been wonderful and have taken fantastic care of us. The drinks are strong and fantastic. :) The food is wonderful. I am a huge fan of the grilled chicken and pineapple salad. It sounds simple but it is so very well seasoned and very healthy to boot. We have yet to have anything that wasn't good, but my favorites are the enchiladas (especially with green sauce) and the fajitas. You can't go wrong at Papitos! read more

My server aside form being very rude and hard to understand, took my ID and refused to serve me simply because I had an out of state ID. What they fail to realize is that this is a college town, many students are from out of state. The rude attitude and discrimination from the staff is just unacceptable. read more

Went in for a late lunch , my boyfriend and I sat in the bar area. At least 3 waiter/waitresses walked by us several times without offering any sort of explanation of why we were never offered any service . We kept quiet and waited 15 minutes before leaving thinking that maybe someone will offer service to us , that didn't happen. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. WARNING: WORST FOOD AND SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED!!! My wife and I decided to try this restaurant because of the good reviews online. This was a HUGE mistake. We received our food about 5 minutes after ordering, the waiter said even "hot plate" when putting the plate down. The plate was very hot, but the food on the plate was fairly cold. We were disappointed but didn't think much more about it. After finishing we received our check, the waiter had forgotten to put the guacamole we ordered on the receipt so he decided to write it in at the bottom in pen along with a new total. This usually wouldn't be a problem, but we needed an itemized receipt for business meal reimbursement. I explained to the cashier what we needed and he gave a new receipt without the writing on it, thinking that I wouldn't notice it was exactly the same as before. He then punched in some numbers into the credit card machine and ran our card for a higher total than what was on the reprinted itemized receipt. I once again asked for an itemized receipt reflecting what he charged on our card; the cashier seemed not to understand and went to get his manager. His manager came out and raised his voice telling me they are not able to do that. All I was asking for was a receipt reflecting what they ran my credit card for.I have never received such terrible customer service over a simple receipt. It was a mistake to go here, I hope you don't make the same one. read more

It all seemed pre made. We had the quesadillas. There was no flavor to the chicken or steak. The food was cold. The patron Texas margarita was awful. I couldn't taste the patron and the margarita mix was disgusting. Honestly if we hadn't spent all day at the hospital I would have complained to a manager, but I didn't want to get in that argument.
