Ignore all the 1 stars! They are miserable people who who hate life and want to make everyone miserable around them. If you are tooooooo lazy to fix your own food and expect someone else to wait on you hand and foot, then learn to either approach a business to get something corrected or don't whine. Simple as that! This is one of the very very very few mom & pop joints we have left in Jonesboro. Support & protect the few we have left for the love of God. Honest truth about this place.... Been several times and never had a bad meal, ever. It's local, and as you know I am die hard local restaurant, anti chain, food extraordinaire. If I ever did have an issue I would def approach them and make sure things got resolved. From the minute you walk in there is a very open area for seating w/a couple tvs to catch a game if you wanted. Restrooms are just down the only hall in the only place & they were clean. The menus are on tv screens above the ordering area and there are some really really good options so take your time and stand back to let others go ahead of you if you aren't ready. As you may know as well, I always test a burger joint out w/a double bacon cheeseburger the first time I visit. Was perfectly cooked, thick & juicy, on a toasted bun w/all the trimmings. Was easily one of the Top 3 burgers I have had in Jonesboro & Top 5 that I have had in NEA. I have had the quesadillas, the tortilla wrapped burger, the tacos, the chips & salsa, their really good queso, the bowls, and a few other things that I'm prob forgetting. All have been pretty solid choices. When there just a few days ago there were 5 employees in the kitchen busy as bees and getting it done. The downfall to being a busy business and not having enough staff(which is the case everywhere) is there are some things that don't get attended to as often as needed. The floors were a little sticky, but I'm not eating on the floor & it seems to be more from the sealant wearing off. Trays were piling up on top of the trash cans, customers were wiping off tables and not once complaining, and it was about time to change out the teas. However, if they had stopped for 2 seconds to worry about any of these things then the customers would have been waiting forever for their orders and would have been more upset about that. Lesser of 2 evils I suppose. All of the staff had a big smile and were very helpful w/any and all questions from customers. Food is def NOT overpriced at all. It's 100% worth every penny. Ignore the miserable crotchety folks and support local. Give em a shot, and if something is wrong just address it while you are there. You fail to correct 100% of the problems you aren't made aware of until way too late. read more

We've eaten at BA many times and the food is good. But this morning when my wife stopped by to pick us up a meal for lunch, they apparently didn't need our business. It was just after 11am which is their posted opening time. She went to the door and it was still locked. The employees inside, casually looked at her, but none made ant effort to come unlock the door. It was around 20* outside, so my wife decided to go elsewhere to get our food. When employees are too lazy to walk across to let a customer in, it's obvious they weren't wanting to go to work. We'll look for another place to get our food. read more

On February 2, 2025 at approximately 1:30 PM I went to get BA burrito, I got two burritos, nachos, and cheese dip. plain and simple. Unfortunately the girl that served me decided that she would verbally shout out, in disgust, that she was ready to close, as I'm walking in. So I tried to be a simple as I could feeling like I was a burden. Each time I would ask for the next item, she would continue to roll her eyes and would make it a scene around the other customers that had come in after me to add cheese dip to the end of my order. B.A. Burrito is a Jonesboro staple. If you haven't been here you really need to go. Today I had the cheeseburger on a jalapeño bun. It had lettuce, tomato, fresh jalapeño, mustard, pepper jack cheese, and ghost pepper bbq sauce. I also got some fries. Even though the place has an amazing burrito, and has burrito in its name... you really need to get the burger. They cook it nice and greasy on a flat grill to medium. It's so good! I'm gonna go ahead and say it. Ready? ....Best Burger in Jonesboro. There you have it. It's official. I've had their nachos and tacos and burritos, all of which are amazing, but the burger is the best. In my opinion, that is. My recommendation is that you get the ghost pepper bbq sauce on the side. That stuff will light you up. It's best to be able to portion it out according to your tolerance rather than trusting the judgement of another. Plus, you can take a little home with you. It's sweet and very spicy, but it tastes amazing. One thing I'd like to mention, which I often do in my reviews, is that they do offer a discount for service members. They have a particularly good discount. It is 10% off plus free drinks. So, if you're in the military and you're like me (ask for discounts everywhere you go (don't judge me I've earned it)) then be sure to get this one - it's pretty good. NO where on the menu does it say it's a kids menu. This to me is false advertising. Come on BA don't advertise a menu then change to say oh wait that's our kid's Menu. Disappointed...not returning for dinner or to go. I want to love this place as we have tried it several times over the years, but have had really inconsistent experiences. My husband and I ordered quesadillas for dinner tonight to go. The tortilla was soggy and there was not enough cheese inside to hold the quesadilla together. The chicken inside tasted dry and was in no way fresh. To add, we each got personal chips and queso and the chips were all tiny crushed up stale pieces. I believe what makes a restaurant great is consistent quality and service- which this place definitely lacks. BA Burrito has become my family's go-to spot for overstuffed burritos, soft tacos, piled-high nachos, and (shhhh!) perhaps Jonesboro's best burger. There are 25-30 Mexican style restaurants in Jonesboro where one can get a Burrito. Competition is stiff. The place is usually clean, but construction seems to occur a lot. Service is prompt, so people, in the asset column, can have lunch and get back to work. They just started offering the Mexican CocaColas. If they do not give you enough chips, you can go back and get more, but I didn't notice this advertised. To me, it's not a date night kinda place, and there are better offerings in this locally saturated market. read more

One of my family's favorites. We go there 2 or 3 times per month. Pro: The food is outstanding every time! Staff is friendly, and knows our orders now by heart. They are generous with portions, and everything is fresh. Con: They could really benefit by having a "front of house" person to take care of cleaning tables, emptying trash, and maintaining the ice/soda fountain. Especially during busy times. I went here trying to scratch my itch for Chipotle and Qdoba...it was adequate. the problem is the ordering/preparation process takes too long. I think the quality of the fish is great, however the quantity is too small. I also feel like they try to make up for the lack of good food by adding chips..and chip shaped baskets. If this was anywhere but Jonesboro I'd give it 2 stars. I think they need to step up their game. read more

Consistently fresh and made-to-order. Food is great, I have always ordered either a chicken or steak quesadilla or burrito, which are both huge and worth the price! I love this place. The only thing that I come to get is the Cheeseburger on their jalapeño bun. You have to get it with the jalapeño bun, it makes all the difference. This bun is not spicy at all. Friendly staff. The burrito really had me wishing I was still out West or in a larger market. Salsa bar was okay, but lacking in definable flavor. As explained by the staff, their visible menu is a bit outdated, so be sure to ask. They will assist you through their process, but it is certainly not as streamlined as a Chipotle or Qdoba. I'm eating my subway sandwich after waiting 20 minutes and watching one person make burritos and nachos and quesadillas for the 4 people in front of me. He was way over whelmed and had not gotten through two of the customers when I decided I should be eating not watching anymore. The 3 staff in the kitchen didn't come help and the lines continued to grow. Must improve service if going to satisfy customers. Lunch hour is not for standing on line. May 2014 I bought a house close to the restaurant and decided I would give it another go, this time is was ok, but didn't know they had hamburgers.
