For me, chilis is always good if you need a lot of food for an ok price. My experience at this location was great. After a week of food on the military base, the ribs and chicken tenders tasted like Gordon Ramsay made them. I also got to try the mozzarella sticks, which were like $12 for 3- so not the best deal but worth it once. We split a skillet cookie at the end, which was fine- very sweet and tasted like blue bunny ice cream and Hershey syrup. But it's a skillet cookie, so I ate it and was happy about it read more

Alright so I don't usually review chain/franchise places but I'm gonna get up on my soapbox: I cannot believe I've lived on this island and not gone here in 5 years. I feel like my prejudice to chains clouded my judgement - I felt like I would get crap service and cardboard corporate food - alas I had confused this establishment with Applebees. What I DID get was an animated and professional bartender on a Tuesday afternoon whom was more than happy to meet every request (Thank you, Brad) and the BOH provided me with a perfectly cooked steak, crisp broccoli and corn on the cob. I went here on Sunday night to grab a bite to eat. I was in the bar area noticed that the bartender was extremely rude to her. Coworkers and disrespectful I thought it was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I feel bad for the coworkers having to deal with that. Ate here for the first time for dinner last evening. Food was good. I had the sirloin with grilled avocado and my husband had the chicken fajitas. There was a good portion on both plates. My steak was slightly over cooked (I asked for medium and it was more medium well) and our server was also the bartender. You really have to get organized. So we had over an hour for lunch and being only 10 mins away with a specialized quick lunch menu meant this was the place. We actually arrived a couple of mins before they open so we scored being the first ones in. The hostess properly welcomed us and with her recommendation I signed up for their rewards card. One guy got the shrimp taco lunch special and the my other buddy got the chunky chicks bleu. Then came the wait. Not joking it took over 20 mins for our meal to come out. We had already "eaten" over 40 mins into our lunchtime. With no drink refills!!!! Finally the meal came and no one and I mean no one was impressed. I feel if my clam chowder came from a can it would taste better because there was no taste. Salt could not help. And speaking of help the sandwich could use some. The chicken was dry, I didn't like the bread, and I wish I asked for some mayo but our server never checked on us. Granted it look like he was the only server and the place started to fill up but it was like one and done when the food showed up. And I should have went to McDonalds for fries. Nice color just everyone's was under cooked and not seasoned. The other guys complained just as much as I did. The shrimp was over cooked and not seasoned very good according to my friend and the other buddy ate his messy falling apart chicken burger because according to him "I just want to eat and get out of here." Actually he used a few adjectives that I can't type here. So our server finally comes with the checks and somehow all the orders were wrong. It's not that he gave us the wrong checks, it's just somehow I got charged for a side order of a bowl of soup and full order of sandwich instead for the lunch combo. The other guy got charged for all our drinks and the last guy got charged for the free chips and salsa. THAT WE NEVER GOT!! Now comes the wait for the correct checks and we had to be back in class in 4 mins. 8 mins later the checks come back. Two of us are good and the other guy had his check wrong still?!?!? He took the time to make sure our order was as gluten free as possible but then he even took the time to make sure my son (age 10) got the right sauce. I visited this restaurant on Veteran's Day and it surprisingly was not crowded. The waitress was very attentive and the service was fast. I ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger with Fries and it was delicious. The burger was fresh and hot and the fries as well. I will be returning to partake in the rest of menu choices. read more

So, I've been to this Chilli's a few times since being stationed here in Rhode Island. All I wanted was the chicken bacon quesadilla without ranch. I get home and bite into my food to find it load with ranch. When you order online it lists the items that are on or are accompanied with the quesadilla. I clicked off of the ranch ancho dressing. I called and Jay the manager said he would have it fixed and apologized profusely. I come back and a the same women that gave me my order decided to say this to me "next when you order online make sure you click off all the items that come on the quesadilla". I told her that all the items were listed with the side items like sour cream, pico de Gallo, guacamole etc. The ancho ranch dressing wasn't not specified to be on the side and in the quesadilla. Now the manager is a gem and was very nice. But the woman who decided to speak to me like a child when I came back to get my corrected order. Stopped in here on a whim with my boyfriend about two weeks ago and was immediately shocked at how dead the restaurant was for a Saturday night. I frequent the Warwick location a lot as it's one of my 11 year old daughters favorite places to eat, and it's always busy! The server was very pleasant but the restaurant itself was FILTHY which we sadly didn't realize until a trip to the bathroom after our meal and our walk leaving the restaurant!!! The floors were especially gross with stains and built up filth that was clearly accumulated over time!?!? I work in the service industry so I know the standards we have to uphold with Covid to remain open... how this place can get away with those conditions I'll never know. And if the front of the house looks like that I'm terrified to see the back?!? The food was mediocre... we only had chips and guac and a combo platter of apps. The southwest egg rolls were inedible. The typically amazing house margaritas had a weird after taste that I can't even explain. Needless to say we both felt awful the following day and can only attribute it to the food and/or drinks as that was all we both had consumed all day. So this is an interesting story.... let me tell you how I ended up at this chilli's tonight. Me and my GF came to Newport to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We made reservations at the forty one degree grill in Newport right on the water for an early 4:30 res. We had VERY high hopes for this dinner as many people had recommended it and the reviews were great. I consider myself a "foodie" and my favorite part of traveling is the food/drinks. I'm not gonna go into detail but we spent about $300 on dinner and 3 drinks. The food was sub par at best. Food was cold, extremely expensive and the drinks were watered down garbage. I was sooo disappointed, there is nothing worse than dropping big money on a meal only to leave feeling like you just got mugged. As my GF and I grabbed an Uber home, we decided we were still a bit hungry and we're looking for some cheaper drinks to end the night. (My pride and wallet were hurting at this point). So here we are at chilli's lol my GF loves the strawberry margaritas. I gotta say, this experience at chilli's was 10 times better than 41 hahaha. The waitress Monique is AWESOME! So personable and friendly, she was extremely attentive. We got 2 strawberry margs each that were delicious and the equivalent to the cost of 1 maritini. We got an order of queso and boneless buffalo wings. They accidentally brought us BBQ wings, but quickly realized the mistake and brought us buffalo ones also. I would ALSO like to note that we told Monique our story and she added an extra shot to out second Marg haha. Hell yeeee. This entire evening at chilli's was so much better and enjoyable compared to that over priced grille. 10/10 will be back. read more

Better than average Chilis, the stand outs are a friendly staff, clean, plenty of parking, huge bar area with six well positioned tvs and late hours to watch games. Franchises are what they but this place is above average, if you like Chilis you won't be disappointed, the food is good and the full bar is well stocked. There is wifi but we can't connect, the manager doesn't seem to know why. Evidently they've had it looked at but no joy. To his credit; he was very apologetic and seemed genuine and very nice. The lack of wifi is not a big deal, I'm mostly telling the tale of how well he handled a minor issue. Gave them five stars as compared to other Chilis. Pluses all around but the real stand out is the wait staff, very attentive and friendly. Overall a good experience, well deserving of five stars and worthy of the Chilis name. read more

Now..from my past experiences chilis has been pretty good for a chain restaurant...until today. Started with the Platinum Presidente margarita..pretty tasty drink and good deal at 5 bucks. First tried the cornbread and it sucked. Then.. Ate the prime rib bowl. Prime rib,citrus Chile rice,grilled peppers & onions,black bean salsa,fresh avocado..honey Chile sauce & jalapeño aioli. Tortilla chips. Sounds good but....Sucked..they should have called it a soup instead. My friend ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it arrived with no bacon and a tablespoon of something that was supposed to be mac&cheese. It's chilis what did I really expect. Then the salad lettuce was old and brown, and there was a severe lack of presentation. The appetizer was brought to us on a huge metal tray lined with brown paper and only including a few food items. The cheddar bites were drenched in salt and the southwest egg rolls were bizarre and inedible. Lastly, the server was rushed and, for the most part, could not be found for assistance. We like this place! The food is good and reasonably priced. The beer draft specials are great and cheap...even if there is no regular lager offered. We ate the Guacamole Burger which was delicious and the full rack of baby back ribs in the "mix & match combo" - but we would recommend the classic BBQ version. Both variants were very tasty, but the classic version is more juicy and tasteful. Our waiter Jimmy was awesome! Friendly and very helpful! Hopefully he is serving us the next time, too! Yes, I feel a bit lame reviewing a chain restaurant. But, I think this Chili's deserves it. My boyfriend and I have frequented this place waaaaaay too often. They're reliably tasty in various "genres" of food. Fajitas and quesadillas are usually pretty good. But what's FANTASTIC are the southwestern egg rolls. Ever since that first night we got them (and after I got over my irrational loathing of egg rolls of any sort), it's been a must order. Even when we've been strapped for the bucks, we've always gotten them. The chocolate molten cake is also reaaally good too -- perfect to split. What really sets this place about is the service. The people here are friendly (lol, recognize a few of them too). Like, when a friend and I ordered the Awesome Blossom (yes, it is that awesome), they tooook a REAAALLY long time. BUT -- when they brought it out, it was the AWESOMEST BLOSSOM IN THE WORLD. Seriously, the span of this awesome blossom is the span of TWO girls' hands from wrist to fingertips. Think about it. An awesome blossom of gianormous proportions. And why? Because they ended up dropping our previous awesome blossom earlier. Thus the long wait. Therefore, Chili's is awesome.
