Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and we had the chips, guac, queso, tacos and sticky ribs, generally food was hit or miss (more below). Service was attentive and friendly and the space was cozy inside of an old house. The guac came as a comically large portion, I kid you not there was at least 5-6 heaping icecream scoops worth of guac. It was pretty good and we didn't want to waste it since it doesn't keep well as a leftover, and this unfortunately impacted our appetite for the other food. For the queso, I asked for the bacon on the side because my friend is a vegetarian. It came on the side but they also -still- put bacon in the queso, which we discovered about halfway through because it was on the bottom. The queso was delicious but I docked a star for the bacon mixup. Sticky ribs were a huge portion and the meat fell off the bones, but had some charred bits that were a bit too hard for me. They were tasty but very sweet. We also tried some drinks, I tried a carrot ginger tequila drink and my friend had a tequila mocktail. They weren't bad, but they weren't good either. Unfortunately, an otherwise good experience was ruined by a couple front of house employees talking about the 1% kitchen service fee. Apparently the restaurant cannot pay its kitchen staff and the customer is charged 1% for wage disparity, but 1% really doesn't make a difference for the staff. It was uncomfortable to hear the conversation happening in front of customers and I don't think we'll be back. read more

We stopped in here to grab dinner and were pleasantly surprised at how awesome the place was! They have lots of vegetarian options and our server was really great about asking questions if certain things were ok with the dishes we ordered. The ribs were marinated in coca cola for hours and it was definitely noticed as the meat was very tender and succulent.
