Chilis is one of our favorite family restaurants to eat at. Quite upset that I am here with my toddler and he still uses diapers. Be prepared parents out there with small children. The new remodeled Chilis in Kendall does not have changing tables for your babies or young children. My husband had to leave and change my son in the car. Extremely disappointed! For the second time in a row we have had to leave before getting a table. Chili's offers a service called "Nowait". You are supposed to login and it will tell you how long is the wait and how many parties are ahead of you. The app stated I had a 33 - 48 minute wait and 33 parties ahead on my. I left my home and arrived 20 minutes later. Once I checked in the hostess told me I had a 40 minute wait from there. That's an additional wait. So that jumped to a 60 minute wait. The hostess stated that there where already customers that where already waiting in the restaurant before we arrived and it would not be fair to them. Obviously not knowing why you use the app. I then asked for the manager. I told him the issue. While I was explaining to him what was going on I glanced at the app. Now I see that the number that was ahead of me increased by 2. It should have gone down. The manager was no help. I won't be back and I will tell everyone I know. read more

I had lunch today at this Chili (Kendall , 119St Kendall Drive) and I can say after dining at this location for so many years, the service has gone to hell! The server was missing in action, no were to be found...neither was the manager....bathroom were disgusting's and my family including our grandkids just had the worse dining experience!!! read more

Chili's is an awesome place to go for lunch for several reasons. The price is affordable, the employees are friendly and the food is delicious. Moreover, i ordered a soda and watched sports on their televisions. Since i was buying items for friends and family., i thought i vist for a few minutes. Been standing waiting for a table forever. Waiters make no effort to accommodate. Worst chillis I've ever been to. Dirty counters for people to lean on while they wait. Gave this place another shot bc again, it's my mother in law's favorite. This time the apps took long and they forgot my sister in law's water but the waiter was nice and helped us save money by hooking up two ppl in the group with the two for twenty instead of separate entrees. I went to this chillis in kendall with my girlfriend on her birthday got sat and waited 12 mins no one ever came to my table the manager on the floor tiffany cleaned a table next to me looked but kept going 3 diffrent servers walked by without any acknowledgment ended up at texas roadhouse and had an amazing time so thank u for letting me walk out and your manager making me feel like it was my fault no one came to my table . I want to start by saying that I scored this place a 3 because I experienced 4 star service at a 2 star place! Had everyone other than my server not been so illiterate and rude this place could've been amazing, unfortunately it wasnt. I walked in on a Tuesday night around 8pm, the Miami Heat were playing so I called to confirm table availability. The person who answered the phone said tables by the bar were available to sit at right away. I walked in 4min later, not a table in sight. The manager comes and asks if we have been helped! Standing there like little lost puppies it was a surprise he even needed to ask that question. I then proceed to explain that I called and was told there was tables open by the bar but there wasnt. He rudely explained that since it was first come first serve and the Heat game was on there probably wouldn't be any seats available for some time. Obviously I realize this, but why did this person on the phone tell me I would be able to sit? I couldn't deal so I walked away and picked my own table where I can see the tv.... My server then arrived! Thank G-D. What a f'in breath of fresh air. He introduced himself as Rob, gave suggestions and was more than hospitable. Actually he's the only reason I will EVER go back! I would just like to suggest that anyone who dines at this establishment bypasses the host and the manager and asks for Rob to serve them! Went to Chili's today after a long time( last time was beyond bad)... Today however our waitress was Amanda, we ordered the two for one margaritas, beer, chips & salsa... She came back quickly & with water, extra napkins without having to ask for it. Chips were perfect, not stale as they had been last time. The fajitas were excellent, had the chicken, steak & shrimp... I highly recommend if you had a bad experience go back... New servers, new management makes a huge difference!!! read more

I love their new no wait app. So convenient specially knowing how busy they get on the weekends. I just log in and it tells me how many people are waiting in front of me. Horrendous, the second time were back since their renovation and it continues to get worse . First off the renovation takes away from the fun Chili's it used to be. I'm all for change if it's for in upgrade, instead we have a drab, boring, dirty diner. The server's were all over each other,sloppy and unprofessional. The ribs were overcooked and dry. I asked for butter for my corn and the waitress said they had no butter? Really?? Sad. Maybe its just this location but its ashame that Chili's has lost its finesse. Might as well have gone to the restaurant next door. They keep there windows clean and not full of greasy smeared fingerprints to look through. Won't be going back, obviously. After a year since the last time I was here there's been an overhaul on the outside and inside. This place deserved a makeover and it was long overdue. The tile tables are gone! No more grime and leftover food getting stuck between tiles! The outside has a huge bright sign that's visible from far away. Much better than before. Went in with a group of 4 friends. Sat down by the bar and our server was very nice, friendly and even though my friends can be outspoken the server was cool. Ordered a rum and coke with Captain Morgan. Was informed they no longer carry Captain Morgan. What...? Okay, so I order a cranberry vodka with Ketel One. So the server suggests I settle with the well vodka as its two for one and cheaper than just one Ketel One drink. Against my better judgement I do it. Both drinks arrive. As I expected, I didn't like the vodka. The shocker was the amount of liquor the bartender poured. You'd think I'd asked for a splash of grenadine if you saw it. Two drinks and both were too strong. It's not that it didn't taste well but its just plain irresponsible! Sent it back and stuck with the just one cranberry and Ketel One. Server comes back, tells me they don't have Ketel One... Uhh, what? Okay, so I asked for Smirnoff. No Smirnoff. I give up. I'm not going to get a decent drink I like so I settle for a mango margarita on the rocks and one frozen. The frozen one tastes better but its a sweet drink and I didn't expect anything great. For food I order the appetizer sampler that comes with 3 smaller portions of different appetizers. I get the boneless buffalo chicken double and egg rolls. The food was good. Buffalo didn't seem to have much meat but it wasn't bad. Buffalo was hot but not too spicy either. The egg rolls were also good. A good choice if you're not sure what to eat. Overall, the bar really let me down and its just irresponsible what they're doing. Server was the highlight of the night. Again appetizer was really good, definitely try those if you're indecisive. Would not come back for drinks and really, that's what people go to Chilli's for at night. Worst service ever! They did not clean our table before we sat down. I found a cold piece of chicken in my guacamole and it took almost an hour to get our food. We had to ask three different times before we finally got our food. The waitress offered a free dessert for the bad guacamole but we did not want dessert so we asked for them to comp our kids meal instead. (The kids meal was actually less expensive than the dessert) They refused to comp the kids meal and instead just offered to take the guacamole off..... so basically they were still going to charge us for it read more

My problem with Chili's is never knowing what I'm in the mood for or what to get. Pretty much everything is great and the price is decent enough to justify eating there.The only thing that I know for a fact that I would eat, if I would even have room left for it, is their lava cake. If you've never had a Chili's lave cake, you're probably one of the less fortunate people I pray for every night. And if you've never been able to try their white chocolate lava before they stopped serving it, I weep for you. Great service by Jill, she was nice and quick. The food is normally great, I get salmon or steak fajita twice per week. We ordered the tilapia, and it was fishy, if I was not running late, I would have sent it back so I poured salsa all over it so I can eat it. No more tilapia at Chilli's!!! read more

Chilis biggest selling point is the happy hour which I greatly enjoy. That being said, their selection is dwindling in variety. The food is reasonably priced for its quality. What chilis lacks in quality of food and liquor, they make up in flawless, exceptional, fast paced service. One sever that comes to mind is kelly that made an impression on me. If you want to go to chillis I suggest you go to the one by Dadeland mall. Our table ordered the guacamole and chips. The guacamole was FROZEN. I asked our waiter to please give us another bowl and it was more frozen then the first one she brought. The spinach and artichoke dip was good but unfortunately, cold as well. Chili's will always be Chili's - a chain restaurant where what you pay for is what you get. If you want to have a good/informal time with friends, go here. If you want to spend quality time with your family, kids, etc. simply don't. There's a place for everything, Chili's is more to drink, eat cheap food and be loud, VERY loud. I really have no complaints about this one location, either dine-in or take-out are okay and have always been okay with me. Kudos! So I haven't eaten here in years. But we decided to give it a try to avoid Kendall traffic. We came in and were seated in an empty section. Some waitress came around basically complaining to the host that no one was serving this section and to move us. She approached us in a agitated tone and said, "ummm I might have to move you guys because there's one in this section and I'm over there, I'm not serving here, hold on , wait" and takes off leaving us there awkwardly standing by the table.I was turned off by her attitude and became agitated with her. After a minute or two we say down anyways, and they assigned us a different waitress. Come to find she's the waitress for the. Only other party in our section. Anyways I couldn't open my menu as it was stuck and sealed together by some unknown sticky liquid substance, so damn gross, they obviously don't wipe down their menus. I was over this place already. Food is mediocre. They dropped things like mozzarella sticks , for a "Tex- mex" menu. Ehh the rib tacos were nothing special. Not high quality kinda like a bump up from Denny's. What a waste of 70$. We hadn't been to Chilis in awhile and decided to go last night . We were seated promptly and the server came right away . We ordered nachos which we're perfect . My husband ordered the dry rub full rack,I ordered the trio fajitas. Everything looked great even it was delivered . But it was not up to the standards we thought it should be. His rib were dried out and 1/3 he couldn't eat because of it . The chicken in the in the fajitas was fine . The steak was way to chewy and I couldn't eat it . The shrimp (4) were so tiny . The server never returned to check on us . Our bill with tip was $60. We only drank water . It was not worth the money !!!! So disappointed!!! I now remember why we haven't been back .
