My review is solely based on the service I have received here from Josh (glasses and a small pony tail) because the food is all about the same at any Chilis. I always prefer to sit at the bar or high tops and if you see he is working, you may as well just walk out. He always gives an attitude as he doesn't want to be there, especially towards the end of the night.. it gets worse. It can be 9-10 pm and he will complain under his breath about new tables.. sorry? I thought he would like to earn more money. Also, why work the section that closes last if it's always a problem for customers to come in the last hour or two? Go work the normal tables and let a better server make the money. I have also seen him talking to other managers who never seem to care about his attitude. My new hangout. Literally new. This location opened on 1.20.20. Went here to watch the Superbowl. Sat at one of the high tops at the bar. (Captain's Castaway is delicious). Good evenIng guys. Well my earlier suspicions I believe are correct. This new Chili's is entirely to small, at least to serve this area of South Dade. We showed up at almost 10 PM tonight and were told we had 60 minute minimum wait time. Not sure but a 60 minute wait time at 10 PM at a Chili's seems excessive to me. Now we did go on a Saturday night but still seems excessive as we are a party of two (2). So we decided to leave which was a bummer but we really did not want to wait an hour. So If you are in a hurry you can certainly give it a shot but be prepared to wait a little more than usual depending on the day of the week especially Friday's and Saturday's. Leaving my rating at 4 stars (same as before) though as the food and service are good. read more

Stopped in at Chillis tonight with the boys. We had a really great time. Our server Kevin was great, he was very attentive. He made several recommendations that were on point and brought an extremely positive energy to the table. I have never been to a restaurant in my life an hour before they close where they tell me they're no longer taking names on the wait list because it's too long. I call ahead and ask what time does the kitchen close. Im told 1130. I get there at 11:20 and stand at the host stand and NO ONE is there except another party waiting to be seated. Staff walking by and dont acknowledge me at all. I finally ask where can I get some food to either be seated or take out. A staff memeber tells me ohh in the back. I go by this time its 11:34 and promptly told the kitchen is closed. So no dinner for me right? I sit at the bar and order a beer while trying to figure out what nasty fast food I could consume at almost 12am. I went in on 4/15 with my mother and brother we got seated promptly which was good and then ordered drinks/apps/meals/ all in one. We received our meals before the apps. and mind you we all ordered salads, a trio- dipper and trio sampler. Started off with being seated and waited 15 mins before we had to ask someone to please grab our waiter and then waited another 10 mins until I got up and spoke to manager that we still haven't been attended. If I could give a zero star review I would. We came here after leaving the Zoo Miami. The restaurant was dirty And the service has been terrible. When we arrived we where told that it would be a 30 minute wait. We said no problem. We asked the host if we could get a few cups of water for our 5 kids while we waited. We were told 30-45 min and then after 50 min of waiting the host was told by the manager to not seat anyone for the next 30 min due to the kitchen being backed up. The place was not that full. Worked a night shift and had a couple errands to run afterwards so I ordered takeout. It was packaged poorly. One of the containers would not stay closed. So it spilled all over the car and I was driving very carefully. I called to let them know. They asked if I wanted to come back and get a new order. I told them I did not because I was too tired and reiterated that they need to package better. They hung up on me. BEWARE! I contracted a nasty bacterial infection from here! NO JOKE! H PYlori! My family and I went on July 2, at 5 pm for dinner. My kids ordered pizza, my wife ordered a sirloin, i ordered chips and salsa, a baked potato soup, and the chicken fajitas.... My money was on the chicken fajitas getting me sick, or perhaps the soup. We all had chips and salsa and i was the only one who got the bacterial infection. Today is July 11, and Im starting my 2nd round of 10 day antibiotics. Diarrhea, nausea, upset stomach, 10 days of MISERY, thanks to a kitchen staff that could not keep the food and ingredients safe for its customers. This is completely inexcusable and unacceptable. Not only have I been miserable for 9 plus days and counting, I had to spend $200plus dollars of doctors and medication bills ( would have been way more if i would have gone to the hospital, which I probably should have). So thats the worst part, now I will continue with the fact that the waitress would literally drag her feet as she walked to dissappear for extended period of times. I had to get up to ask someone close to the kitchen for a lime for my wifes corona, as said waitress was no where to be found. Than I finally got someone to"bring" me the lime.... but than they forgot. After approximately 5 minutes i was able to find someone else to get me the lime for my (by now) wifes hot beer. Dont get me started on the floor, you better have some great non slip resistant shoes to navigate the floors on your way to the restroom, which is not as disgusting as the floors but a very close 2nd place. The floors are so nasty you can "hear" it as you walk. 1000% positive i contracted the infection here, as this was the last place I ate until my diarrhea started 12 hours later at 6 in the am. I am a grown man, but I would not wish this infection on anyone. i wanna start by saying I'm a server myself and I'm disappointed lol....... first of all our food got there we had no forks or anything what are we supposed to do not only did we not have forks but our server KIM did not even pass by within like ten minutes so we had to ask a random worker for them and not even after we got the forks from the random worker did she pass by. This is the second time that my wife and I have been to this location. The first time was good, however this second time had a couple of bumps. My wife ordered the shrimp fajitas and they were good. I ordered a Swiss cheese hamburger. The restaurant was less than half full. I guess that they were busy with pick up food orders because our food took a while to come. My hamburger was half burnt and the fries were warm instead of hot. When I eat at restaurants I rarely send the food back. I just ate what I could. However the service was very good and attentive. So the cook is going to need a little help getting into the swing of things, because when the state finally opens up the restaurants completely, they will have their share of complaints. The restaurants was also very clean, including the restrooms. I give a restaurant second and third chances , so I will be back in the future. read more

If I could give this business 100 stars I would! We came during Covid-19 and the dinning area was open. We were waiting for 40 mins and then Miami implemented a curfew at 10. One of the managers came out to tell us but once he found out that we were up next he sat us! We were so happy! Pedro and Walter really run this restaurant with so much love and passion! They came up to us and talked to us and they were so nice and funny. I really appreciate the fact that they were so nice and caring. We will definitely be dining here again! This is the best Chili's I've ever been to. The staff is great and the manager is SO kind and truly cares about his customers. Plus, I witnessed multiple interactions between him and his staff and he displayed the upmost respect for his workers. Now to the most important part: The food is delicious -- fresh, good flavor, great variety, hardy portions, excellent value. And the adult beverages are strong, not watered down and overpriced like most chain restaurants! My favorite is their margarita. 100% worth the price. Prior to the coronavirus, my family and I went to this Chili's shortly after it opened and it was pristine and nicely decorated with warm lighting. Can't wait to go back again, but for now, their curbside service is amazing! We picked it up last night for Mother's Day. We both got the 3 for $10 -- you get one non-alcoholic beverage (their strawberry lemonade is to die for!), an appetizer (I went with the baked potato soup, which was sooo good and packed with bacon, and my mom got the Caesar salad, which she said was yummy and fresh), and an entree (I went with the chicken crispers with double loaded mash and mom had the chicken fajitas, served with rice and beans and all the fajitas fixings). We could not believe how much food it was! Without tax, it came to a clean $20 but with tax and tip (we tipped $5) it came to $27 and a little change. SO worth it, and we have leftovers!
