My friends and I had just arrived in town (Friday January 21, 2022) and were looking for someplace near our hotel to eat. Chilli's was about a minute away so it was perfect, or so we thought. With the exception of the bartender, the whole visit left much to be desired. It got progressively worse from the minute we walked in until the time we left. The floor was even dirty. 1. The restaurant was moderately filled when we arrived, but not enough to excuse the 5 minutes we stood at the front waiting to be greeted and seated. It didn't take long to seat us once we were greeted; however if waiting a little longer would have gotten us a better waitress we would have gladly done so. 2. Our waitress did not introduce herself so I haven't the slightest idea what her name was. She was less than pleasant, rushed us through our order and did not know the menu very well. We were told they didn't have a liquor we requested despite it being visible at the bar. 3. We ordered the egg rolls from the appetizer menu and they were cold when they arrived. We advised the waitress who proceeded to take them to be reheated. We sent back 4 but only 3 were returned to us!!! What happened to the other one??? When we brought it to her attention she assured us a fresh order was being made but it never got it to our table. 4. Myself and one of my friends both requested sour cream, that was supposed to be included with our meal, and neither of us received it. 5. The bartender was the bomb. 2 people from my party walked over to get the drink our waitress advised us was unavailable and they both enjoyed it. Additionally the $5 martini was well made and tasty as were the other drinks we ordered. 6. The food was ok. Not the best but certainly not the worst. My steak fajitas were a little on the tough side but it's not the greatest cut of meat to begin with. Came for my wife's birthday and the I went to check in the restaurant was not busy as it was a Tuesday night. Party of 7, 6 adults and a 5 year old. I was told they are not taking parties over 6. I thought this was a joke but they would not seat us. I even said we could sit at 2 tables with 2 separate checks. No luck. We had to go to another restaurant. The customer service was horrible. I would have asked for the manager if it were any other day. 2 stars because their take out is okay. We used to go here a few times a month before the pandemic. My family, my father, and I decided to celebrate one of my daughters birthday here at the McDonough Chili's last night and I don't believe that I'll be going back. There was no silverware clean for us to eat with but we weren't told that until our salads arrived. We pointed that out to our server and she informed us of the situation. Fine. Bring us some plastic cutlery, maybe? So we sat and stared at our salads... passing time by eating the croutons with our fingers. I started cutting mine up with my pocket knife. We poured our dressing on and continued to make small talk. 5 minutes goes by. 10 minutes go by. Then our waitress shows up with plastic cutlery. As we are opening up the bags to remove the napkins and forks our entrees show up. Did I mention that there six grown ups sitting at a table more suited for four? So there's no room for 8 extra plates. It was stupid. Wife's inedible soup must have had a pound of salt in it. My beans were wretched. Nope. Can't describe that taste. Went to Chillis this past Friday and omg service was horrible. It was crowded which is expected for a Friday night our server seemed like a nice guy but he was extremely slow. I don't know if he was overwhelmed or what but we had to constantly keep reminding him of stuff "hey you never brought us any napkins"... "Hey, can we please put our order in now".. Or "hey can you please bring my nephew a kids menu". He took so long for the kid's menu I ended up walking to the servers desk myself and grabbing the kids menu and the crayons to go along with it. Every time we stopped him and ask for something he would say oh sure give me one second... Dude how many damn seconds do you need? The food was pretty good and the drinks were watered down. I basically paid 12 dollars each for two glasses of water with ice in a margarita glass. If you decide to go here for just drinks don't do it. Just go to a bar afterwards. If you're coming for just the food that's a good idea, the food was delicious. It's a great place for lunchtime. Hopefully, that particular server was just having a bad day. She sat us and then soon returned to take our beverage and appetizer orders. She patiently answered our questions and professionally took care of our every need. She checked on us several times and brought an additional beverage for my fiancé. We requested to share our experience with her manager, Ms. Janiya, who was also lovely to speak with. We recently visited another Chili's in the area and the experience was far from pleasant, so we thank these ladies for renewing our faith in the franchise and we look forward to our next visit. I use to like chili's but I don't think we will be back. My husband and I ordered from the 2/$20 menu. We both got the 6 oz sirloin. I added a half order of seared shrimp for $2.99. I got a side of steamed broccoli and a side salad as my two sides. I'll include a pic, but the shrimp was so small and not exactly seared but just cooked and kind of slimy to be real. The steak was suppose to be medium rare was well done. The broccoli was 100% raw uncooked. Like broccoli you would get on a vegi tray at a baby shower I'm serious. I would come here if I were wanting to go somewhere for fun mixed drinks with friends. Or to watch a game at the bar.... maybe. I would not come here for the food only. read more

Came here for dinner with the family for my birthday and was so disappointed. The chips from the chips and salsa were stale/overly greasy, we didn't get plates for our appetizer, the fries were old/cold, we didn't get refills on water or lemol nade after waiting 40 mins, and I wasn't told until after I received my fajita order that there was no pico, tomatoes or lettuce. And to make the fajita dish even more disappointing, even though seasoned well, the steak was seariously overcooked. Then there was the dessert, we ordered a Chocolate molten cake and the center was still frozen and the cake was Luke warm. Definitely was a wasted trip and a waste of money. read more

The visit started out okay. Got our initial drinks pretty quickly and she took the orders. Very sweet attitude. She either had too many tables or something because we went a long time without drinks refills and could not get her attention. After a long time I went to the bar and asked him for refills. He told her and she came back a few minutes later with drinks in hand. We ate a whole meal without drinks just about. At the end her service got better. I think she had too many tables but it was later in the night. The food was pretty good. I've been to many Chili's , from California to Georgia ... I've always received good service. I've never submitted a comment About Chili's because the service has always been good. Tonight the service was much better than good... we recently moved to the area, both my husband and I are from different states. We both have multi state multi location comparisons , this makes them all pale in comparison. I really am not sure where to start.. Food- amazing 5 of 5 season flavor texture presentation all perfect Location- hidden gem - glad it's hard to find :) Experience- 10/10 we are one day away from a major election. Neither the host or the bartender spoke to me. I waited about 15 minutes for a triple dipper. All items were cold meaning they had sat for a while. Also I asked for no bacon no ranch on the burger bites. They messed this up and took another 10 minutes to get it fixed. Also had to ask for silverware. I had to wait 20 minutes for a table, which was fine. Sat in the car and listened to Octane. When I went inside, they sat me at a table in the bar. I did not want to sit at the bar but I thought that a table would be ok. I sat there about 5 minutes when the bartender came and took the kiosk and said "I will bring it right back" of course he did not. Then a couple sat at the bar after me and he immediately went to them to take their drink order. I still waited, nothing. A person that I presumed was a manger walked by and looked right at me I stared at her. I could have flagged her done but I should not have had to. So, after waiting another 20 minutes inside, I got up Andy and went Longhorn. Got in immediately. Was seated immediately. Got my drink order placed within 5 minutes of sitting down. Thought long and hard before writing this review, but felt my visit on July 4th needed to be addressed. My husband and I stopped in for lunch and I am sorry to say it was not a very good experience. There were quite a few patrons on hand, so I wasn't too surprised when it took some time before our waiter appeared. I will admit that I am a picky eater, but I try very hard to make clear exactly what I would like to order. On past occasions I have ordered the grilled chicken bacon avocado sandwich with the request to strip it of everything but the chicken and the bread. (Don't judge me. I know what I like.) On this occasion I also asked that the butter be left off of the bread. Well - after quite a long wait, when our food finally arrived, it was two pieces of cheesy, buttery grilled chicken minus any type of bread at all! I am sure I had a distressed look on my face, so the waiter asks "Oh - did you want a bun?" This was after we had the discussion about my request to have the butter left off of the bun. Then I questioned the cheese all over it. The waiter was quick to say he could get another sandwich out to me right away. Well - when the plain grilled chicken sandwich arrived, it was half the size of the one I ordered, and by then my French fries were stone cold. I understand that sometimes orders get messed up, but this was pretty bad. The first photo below is the sandwich I ordered but requested to be served PLAIN, the second photo is what was presented to me. I used to have a great time with my family at Chilis- definitely not here. When we first walked in we sat down and they took someone else to their seat knowing we were here first having been told by the person being seated and by us. We were finally seated and the food took forever to come, and although the food was pretty good, the service was absolutely TERRIBLE. We ordered a molten lava cake (which we have ordered multiple times there)- and the cake came out cold. We asked them to take it back to the kitchen and it took about 20 minutes for them to bring us a new one. We had let our server know that we no longer wanted it (before it came out) and she said she'd take it off. She had still not taken it off by the time it came out and we were ready to leave. She repeated told us that she took off the lava cake even though every time we went to pay, it was still on there. We another staff to get the manager- she came back and told us she couldn't find him. About 5 minutes later, we asked our server and he came out in another ten- just as we were leaving the restaurant. The service was awful. read more

My Husband's burger was delicious according to him, our service was ok however my fajita meal was disappointing. My food wasn't prepared fresh and hot. When it was returned to the kitchen it was thrown together and sent back to the table. It was obvious that no care was put into the remake. I felt punished for complaining. I received a differently prepared meal than what I returned. I order fajitas and it appeared to be microwaved food placed on a warm skillet. There was no sizzle and the bell pepper and onions seemed to be from a can not fresh.The flour tortillas are served cold and wrapped in aluminum foil. I know realize when I want Mexican food I need to go to a (true) real Mexican restaurant such as 7 Tequilas. This meal taught me that you get what you pay for. If something sounds too good to be true it is. ie- the commercials advertising the fajita specials. read more
