I stopped by here with some friends the other day, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. If you don't wanna smell like smoke when you leave, this is not the place for you. The smoke smell is something serious. The customer service is cool; the staff were really friendly. The food took forever and a day to come out and was just okay. This is not a place you come to for a good meal, obviously. This is strictly a 'let's play pool, sit at the bar, and take shots' type of spot. Would I return? Probably not. The staff was not friendly. A very large Roach ran across me and on to the Bar, killed it and the staff laughed about it. No apologies or concerns, it was by unprofessional amd makes me question the sanitary conditions. read more

Can I absolutely say I love coming to the wishing well but tonight I was disappointed when my favorite bartender was ridiculed for asking her coworker to help her. My favorite bartenders name is Brea. I come in because she's extremely energetic and always fast to serve me. The other girl that's working tonight, I'm not sure of her name, I've seen her once or twice in the day time, but brea asked her to help because she felt weeded and the other girl said you need to calm down is what the f*** you need to do. I heard this and immediately was offended for her. As the night goes on, I felt the tension. It made me feel very uncomfortable as a guest here, so I asked for my tab. As I was signing it I heard the other girl calling brea a c***. By that time, I was ready to leave. This place is always so low key and chill and I love coming here after a long night at work. I will be back but if I see that other girl is behind the bar I will walk out and go somewhere else. At the end of the day, that comment is very unprofessional to say in front of guests. And I know I wasn't the only one who heard it. I wish I had the managers number because I would directly come to you about this but instead I felt like I needed to post what went down. The place smells really gross. Smokers everywhere. Welcome to the cancer bar. At least pool is only $1 and there is no line for either pool or open mic (Saturdays). But that might have to do with the disgusting chemicals in the air from all the indoor smokers. read more

This is a great bar to watch sports, with low ceilings you can actually hear the sound. They also have the NFL package so you can watch other games while watching the home team on the large tv. The wings are the excellent. Friendly wait staff. They have beer specials as well. read more

Used to really like this local watering hole, then moved away. It was relaxed and fun with a somewhat "Cheers-like" feel. Was back in the neighborhood recently and stopped in to find new management and a new crowd, seemingly all pals of the new manager. Was difficult to get a drink in spite of only half a dozen people at the the bar, perhaps in part because the bar tender was busy with her friends and singing karaoke. Spent some time here in March 2012, had a ball, nice local bar w/karaoke. Bartenders are great! Tammy is the BOMB! She makes the best drinks! Ended up going to Cancun w/her & her hubby in August after we met. Love Georgia! read more

New staff and live venues are starting to bring this bar back on my radar. Food is average. They have 6 or 7 beers on tap. There is one guy who drinks here regularly they need to ban permanently. He is a loud obnoxious idiot who tries to piss everyone off. Still miss the original bar that was here before this, Grand Central Station. read more

Great local bar. Can be a 2nd home. Leah is the best bartender ever. Always attentive and very courteous. And beautiful. The manager (jimmy) always does what he can to make any situation better. He has turned this place around since he took over. Also, as they call him "Big Curt" is a great cook and always makes everything you would like fresh with any special instructions. Great place. The people who come in are are very eclectic bunch and the regulars are always welcoming to everyone, no matter what race, gender, or sexual orientation. Not only are the bartenders super friendly, they try their best to make sure everyone is happy and that everyone has a good time! This is a nice little neighborhood bar. They offer a variety of foods from chicken wings to seafood. Great selection of beers too! Their wings are a little pricey, but they surely are worth it. They have big portions so I wasn't disappointed. I also got the oysters. They weren't all that, but they did seem pretty fresh, could work on some of the seasonings. The staff is incredibly nice & overall a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back for the NBA finals. read more

Good place to stop in after work or during the game on Sunday. An older crowd with many regulars. Reminds me of a "cheers" type place where everyone decent is welcome. The U shaped bar facilitates the friendly atmosphere and conversation. They host trivia nights and free texas hold em poker nights. Live bands most saturdays, Karaoke nights too.....
