Stopped in for lunch yesterday, we ordered some beers but something was going on with the keg so we had to wait a bit while they fixed the issue before we got our beer but that's ok things happen. We ordered the cheese curds as an app and they came out fairly quick and hot. We ordered a salad to share and it took forever to come out. Everyone how was there after us was served and we still sat there waiting for salad. A group of 8 of us stopped in after a long day at Texplex. We were told they would only seat 6 to a table even though one was a baby and we all rode together it was against policy. The manager came over and explained blah blah blah. We eventually had our server come greet us who might I add had attitude from the start. We ordered adult beverages and appetizers that took approximately 10 min. For the beverages. After another few minutes she stopped back asking if we were ready to order my wife told her no give us a few we had been talking. She then got more attitude not returning for another 10 min. By this time we're out of beverages and chips. Only to be told. I'm HERE TO TAKE YOUR ORDER. WE ORDERED. Our food came and she had no clue who ordered what shouting at us what each order was as of it's our job to remind her what we ordered. The service was awful the entire time. The manager seemed very afraid of his staff and especially this Hispanic female very short. We finally received our checks which were all wrong after I pointed out how rude she had been she proceeded to argue back and forth and tell me I'm the rude one. And my only response was we're done here. She then storms off to the kitchen and screams FUCK THAT GUY. The manager no where to be found as we're leaving she then has one last word by yelling at all of us. Y'all have a nice day! Knowing th eyes no recourse for her actions. The manager seemed very young and inexperienced and unable to train his staff. The food here was okay. The service was horrible. My server did not tell us her name, but had short blue hair and I had the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. She was rude, did not check on us, and seemed like she would rather be doing anything else than serving. My husband came home today from his first day at a new job. I had prescriptions to pick up at Target so I decided to eat out to celebrate the first day is done. Chili's is in the parking lot and I had remembered the commercial about 3 for $10. I don't pay attention to commercials, but I like the jingle. Well we figured out what it meant. It is kind of neat. I used to like Chili's years ago but it has definitely gone wrong. We called in an order so I could use a gift card. When my husband went to pick up, they claimed the card had nothing on it. When he got home I checked, it had$25 on it. They forgot part of the order. The food was meh. I cook better burgers at home. The boneless ribs were not good and instead of putting cheese on top they put it on the bottom and then threw the wings on top. The chips were nothing but a bag of grease. The management was lack luster in giving us any help. And the girl who answered the phone when I called to speak to the manager said as she was putting me on hold, yeah I don't want to hear your complaints. I'm not going back even with a gift card. This location is great! Fast service and food! Very accommodating for the kids. I wish I remembered our servers name because he did so well with our table full of six adults and 5 kids. Arrived at this restaurant for late lunch. The place was fairly empty but we were told would be a 45 minute wait. I asked since it was clear there were plenty of open tables to which I was told only one cook which was causing everything to run behind. I know this wasn't the sweet hostess fault (or even the cook that was trying to run the kitchen solo) but management should have been there to assist or call in backup. There was a typed sign that they would be closing early today too (no explanation why). I visited this restaurant on 11/7/18 and 20 minutes after I arrived home I became sick... intense stomach cramps, sweating profusely... sick! For the next 2-3 hours I could do nothing but wait. Fast forward to 11/8/18, I placed a call to the restaurant and requested to speak with a manager. A gentleman by the name of Toby or Soby (sp) answers. I explain to him that I arrived at his restaurant (providing the date and time-per receipt) and how I instantly became sick once I arrived home. He actually laughed! He said well no one else has called, usually we have 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 people call when it's food poisoning but I'll take your name and pass it on. This location is the worst place to go! I will never dine-in or order-to-go from this place again. We went in on a Friday night with 2 kids. We were seated, given menus, but no server came to get our order. We kept waiting and still no one came. Other guests came after us and their orders were taken and received their drinks. We asked another waitress if someone was going to take our orders. She said she will go get our waiter. We waited and still no one came. I came to Chili's with my family of 4. The food was wonderful but my Cousins food was not write so we replaced it with something else. The corn was very nasty. It had TOO MUCH seasoning. Haven't had the time to post a review last couple days but went here a few nights ago after ordering online. Told the person over the phone in detail what my order was. I ordered the 6oz sirloin with grilled avocado and pico and roasted asparagus. For my boyfriend I ordered mango habanero crispers with loaded potatoes and corn. Arrived and his order was right but they had given me a sirloin with plain avocado in a CUP and broccoli. I don't even like broccoli and never ONCE said anything about broccoli. Was told the order would be ready in 15 minutes and got there to pick it up and had to wait an additional 25 minutes. The manager told them to remake my order because by now everything was cold so I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes AGAIN. So here I am on a work night waiting in the chili's parking lot. Those pesky customers! About a third of the way through our meal, the waitress started getting pushy about us paying out; she was obviously ending her shift and wanted us out of her hair. My wife and I wanted to enjoy a couple of drinks, so we paid out and moved to the bar, where I was told by the waitress there that "The Big Man" didn't allow vaping ("The Big Man" was actually standing on the other side of the bar and didn't have the balls to tell me that himself). The thing that struck me was that we were among the very few customers in the place on Valentine's evening, and they were doing their best to run US off. Smdh...I knew it...I have always said chili's is dirty and the food is not great. Well today after years of not going my boyfriend convinced me to go and what a mistake. The first thing my chair was dirty, I switched out the chair and that chair also had food so then the third chair was decent, meaning there was no visible food on it. Our table was dirty looked like it hadn't been wiped from previous guest along with the table to my left. We then ordered chips and queso and when we get to the bottom of the chips a couple of the chips were wet and soggy..gross. We then get our food and my chicken sandwich did not even look like the picture and was not appetizing. My boyfriends plate was hotter then the food and the food looked like a blob of god knows what. When he moved his plate he felt something underneath it and there was a big clump of dried out cheese underneath it and had a crust of cheese on the right size of the plate, basically looked like it had not been washed. Last night my family of four and I dined in at this Chili's location. I must say the few times I've been in the service has been exceptional! As a GM in the restaurant business I was throughly impressed with this location. Kiwi was friendly and kept a friendly demeanor our entire visit. We never needed for anything. For the most part the food and service are decent. If you order curbside it is quick! Nice when it's cold outside and you don't feel like getting out of the car. We were seated immediately, but we were placed next to a party of 20 that was yelling and screaming in the restaurant. They were so busy we got a training waiter to begin with that took 10 minutes to get us our drinks. We eventually got a new waitress that took our order, but didnt show up after that. I chose fried pickles, chicken crispers (honey-chipotle flavored), and half a order of baby back ribs. Fried pickles were a bit too bitter at that time presuming the oil of the batter was old. Baby back ribs were too dry and not tender. The best meal tonight would have to be my chicken crispers! They give you an option between regular or crispy and I chose crispy. They had the perfect texture and crunch. It was a bit too salty but nothing a dip of ranch can't fix. We also finished off with some Oreo molten lava cake and mmmm, that is a must try- the vanilla ice cream + a spoon of warm sponge cake was delicious. Liked Chili's better before menu changed. This review is mostly related to allergen concerns. Food was good but recent menu changes made it really difficult to find gluten free options. Partially because of the way that the menu is presented and partially because no one offered any real help to find options. Waitress didn't offer any help. We asked to speak to the manager and she answered one question and walked away. Almost every item is marked for "possible cross contamination". I also didn't like that my food was presented on a paper on a metal tray. As soon as paper was wetted by the food, the paper ripped as knife was used. This was a fave, but not anymore. read more
