In all honesty, I had avoided Chili's for years. The last few times I visited a Chili's (not here in Louisville), the food and service were well below reasonable standards. With that said, I found myself right next door to Chili's at lunchtime while waiting on a tire repair. Since the tire issue had already blown up my schedule, I needed to grab lunch while I waited, and Chili's was the most convenient option. So I thought, why not? It had been a while. I walked in not expecting much, but I was greeted by a very friendly hostess who showed me to a seat at the bar. The bartender came over, took my order for an Adult Beverage, and gave me time to review the menu. Despite all the wing options and other tasty-looking items, I settled on the Santa Fe Salad with extra ranch. My salad came out quickly, and I liked the presentation. My first bite was a pleasant surprise -- it was very tasty. The chicken had great flavor, the guacamole was just right, and everything about the salad was spot on. The portion was larger than I could eat in one sitting, so I asked for a to-go box. By the time I had paid, I noticed my car was outside the shop and ready to go. Perfect timing. I left pleasantly surprised by the food and service Chili's now offers. I'll definitely be back, and I enjoyed the rest of my salad for dinner that night. read more

Another great dinner at Chili's! I had dinner with a friend on Friday night at Chilis. Everything was delicious. The chips, salsa, and skillet queso were perfect!! The burger, chicken sandwich, and fries were delicious!! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant wasn't that busy at the start of dinner but did get busier at the night went on. It's Chili's it is basically the same where ever you go. However in Ky your waitress has a nice southern accent so that's a nice plus. We picked up some drinks at the bar while waiting for table. They called us over after a little bit. Ordered some apps, the southwest egg rolls are the absolute best. Better than the mozzarella sticks too. Well, wow! We quit eating at any Chili's for a long time. The food and service just went downhill. That's just what it was every time we went. Well someone decided to get a job there and we had to go visit cause well you show up for people when you love them. So it's always worth it iykyk. So glad that they not only updated the menu but the food game too. I was pleasantly surprised! The honey chipotle mozzarella sticks were fire! Not too spicy but just enough and the honey's balancing power was on point but the cheese pulling through with the savory tied it together- and yes the pull was extra long! lol iykyk We decided to order a platter to share with an order of chicken crispers (tender af). We got the ribs, brisket quesadillas, and jalapeno cheddar sausages. The bbq sauce was a little too sweet but the ribs were tender and not dry Tysm! The brisket quesadillas were okay just a lot of cheese like a bit too much so we couldn't get a real feel for the brisket- I will try again and ask for less cheese so we can try the brisket but what we did get of it was tender (cheese overwhelming so the flavor didn't come through) so I know for next time! And the sausages were spicy and delicious! I'd order them by themselves... yum-may! The street corn we didn't get to eat while there, but looks tasty and will be getting eaten! The fries were good and fresh - Tysm. Then this fool had the audacity to tell them it's my birthday... omg they all popped out on me. It wasn't a lot of guest in the building or I would have died of embarrassment but- she got me cause I wasn't expecting that at all. But she loooooooves me and even more so loves big displays so why I didn't really think about it cause I was over it and nothing in my brain was like she's going to sneak attack you. Went for the first time ever to a Chili's. The service from Merait ( she told me how it's spelled but I forgot, sorry) was unbelievable. I sat at the bar but she took care of the dining area as well and was spot on. Make a fantastic tequila old fashioned for me. The burger was good. First time I have been to Chilli's in a long time. They have the best chips in town. The cheese sauce is ok. Their fajitas are kind of tasteless. My son enjoyed his chicken combo as well as my wife. Their fajita tortillas were tasteless and stuck together. They tasted like they were frozen and thawed out and microwaved. I like chuy's tortillas way better. So we have come here often and most of the time isn't not this bad. First off I had to use my phone light to see the menus since the lights over me don't work. We order chips and queso and the chips were stale and all broken and the queso was cold. They finally came back and microwave the queso but thrill had to eat it with stale and broken chips. The food can out cold. My pasta was cold and rubbery the only thing hot on the plate was my garlic toast which was the only thing I did eat. My husband's food which was a bbq bacon burger was luke warm and the fries were cold. Talked the manager and she didn't seem to really care. Have to say I am so disappointed and it will be a long time before I come back to this location. In addition when we asked for that manger our waitress stopped talking to us. read more

The service is never great. One time there wasn't even a hostess with a line out the door. Other times there hasn't been a soul in the place but my water couldn't get refilled. However, the place is clean and has plenty of tvs. The food is also great! I highly recommend signing up for rewards and getting free chips and salsa (they are bottomless!). Haven't been to Chili's in a while, as Louisville has so many fantastic non-chain restaurants that we rarely visit. Decided to give it another shot. Atmosphere--we were there around 7pm on a Sunday. Place was maybe 30% capacity. Waited at the host stand for a few but didn't see anyone so just opted for the bar. Restaurant temp was close to 20 below zero, so take a jacket. Good thing is the ice won't melt in your drinks. Food--She had mango chicken, I had chicken fajitas. Both chickens were very bland. Fajita chicken had some mild seasoning / sauce that didn't enhance the chicken, just gave it a slight color. Basic. mango chicken didn't appear to be seasoned at all, and was pressed thinner than a burger at White Castle. Basic X 2. Broccoli was steamed. Period. Again--zero seasoning so either there was a shortage of seasoning in the house or they prefer their patrons be devoid of taste buds as you don't need them here. Rice that each of us had was the most flavorful item, and even we couldn't figure out what that flavor actually was. Good? The chips and salsa/guacamole. Very little light.flaky chips w a decent amount of salt. Salsa was flavorful, but so thin it literally looked like soup. A few less cups of water would have made it really good. Service---so-so. Bartender was working the tables around the bar area that got sat around the same time we sat down, so he was a little behind. My h20 was empty for almost 10 minutes before he noticed, but thankfully the snowfall inside the restaurant kept me from being overheated. He was friendly and responsive when he was there, so wasn't a yuge deal. Not amazing, not horrific. Overall I'd say this may be our last visit to a Chili's, as there are just too many other options out there with better tasting food. I'm sure if we took our shuttle bus from the retirement home we would have found it to be a flavorful experience, but as we didn't it was just a vacation from flavor. read more

Chili's at one time was a place I've visited several times before but had fallen off my radar & it's been a couple years since. On a whim we dropped in for a bite. The dinning room was more than half full and the bar had a good size crowd watching the ball games many tv's. To see a good size crowd is always a good sign. We were seated quickly, ordered two Blue- moon drafts. There are 8 taps to chose from. Both severed in frosted glasses. Our server was prompt and pleasant. We ordered app of boneless chicken and the Hawaiian shrimp salads. The chicken was pre-sauced with a side ranch. The Hawaiian salad was large, variety of fresh crisp mixed greens, many flavorful shrimp served with pineapple, Mandarin oranges, pecans, cranberries and a lite vinaigrette. Stopped in here last week during March Madness to have dinner with our friends and watch some basketball. We were able to be seated right away and our server did a great job of making sure that our glasses were filled all the time. I believe our server's name was Sydney. We started with an appetizer as well as the chips and salsa before our meal. The chips and salsa were great and there is nothing more better than a warm tortilla chip. For the main course, ordered the Black Bean Fajitas and shared that with my better half and it was the perfect amount for 2. Highly recommend this dish as the flavors are great and a great price as well. Our daughter ordered a cheese quesadilla and she finished most all of it. I wanted to give a huge thanks to the lunch manager, Jeremy, and our server at Chili's today. I had an issue that was immediately, fairly dealt with. It's REALLY DIFFICULT for most restaurants these days. So many places are extremely short handed and it's very sad. This restaurant had to close early their indoor dining and provide only carry out the other night because of a lack of staff. Many times, the individuals that do show up have to wear so many different hats that they are not able to dedicate the needed time to be successful at any task. The Fajitas have changed quite a bit over the years. Today I ordered to-go for my entire family. We ordered a dinner for two (two orders of fajitas both with extra tortillas and chips and salsa), a Caribbean Salad with Grilled Chicken, and Chili's 1975 Tacos with French Fries instead of chips. Order was ready when I got there to pick it up. The lady said she'd put another order or tortillas in the bag even though she said she was "pretty sure" they already put them in. Boy, it's a good thing she did. Apart from that extra roll of tortillas she put in, there weren't any others. No tortillas at all besides 4. And we paid for extra. Chicken was absolutely drowned in cilantro. Looked like the chicken was the side. The tacos didn't come with the fries, or any side for that matter. Just the tacos, which left us wanting more. A very disappointing to-go order from Chili's that failed on multiple fronts. Not sure we'll be back to this location. read more

Both entries were very tender grilled to perfection and delicious! The corn on the cob was very good as well. The black beans were also very good and the fries were you guessed it delicious lol. When it was brought to the table the server said "I didn't know if you wanted your salad or everything at once so I brought it all at once." Well, he didn't know because he never asked!!! He also never came back to give us drink refills or to tell us we had to pay on the device sitting on the table. He didn't offer ketchup for my husbands fries either.
