The service was top notch, being that we were the only patrons lol We started with the Thai wings. They were small wings and so delicious. We had the Pomegranate Agave margaritas with a shot in the side. It was deliciously good! We both had the angus burger medium well with fries. I had pepper jack cheese w/mushrooms and she had Gouda and bacon. The fries were hot and crispy just how I love them. Joe the manager was super sweet and nice. Crystal was a good server. Mikal is a sweetheart. It was so good seeing him. Go check out the nicest team in the industry at one of the cleanest places in town!

My friend and I spent the afternoon by the pool and decided to treat ourselves by DoorDashing lunch from Ditto's -- and let me just say, it was absolutely DELICIOUS! The food arrived quickly, still hot and beautifully packaged, and the flavors were so fresh that it honestly felt like we were dining in the restaurant. It was the perfect poolside lunch -- light enough to enjoy while lounging in the sun but full of flavor that really stood out. Everything tasted like it was made with care, and it paired perfectly with a relaxed afternoon catching up with a sweet friend. We both kept saying how impressed we were with the quality for delivery, which can be hit or miss, but Ditto's nailed it. This experience just reminded me why Ditto's is such a gem in Louisville. Fresh food, reliable service, and consistently great flavor every single time. Definitely a 10/10 -- whether you're dining in, picking up, or DoorDashing by the pool like we did, Ditto's never disappoints!

    Stacked Meatloaf

My first time at Ditto's! Every time I have tried in the past, it was packed and didn't have time or energy to wait. This time, we went early and got in no problem. Hostess was so pleasant! My friend joined within minutes of sitting down and the server came over immediately. We started with some mozzarella sticks. I had a split of Prosecco and my friend had a margarita. The Prosecco was light and cold, which is how I expected it to be my friend's margarita was exactly how she asked for it and the mozzarella sticks were delicious. Immediately, I thought there wouldn't be enough marinara dipping sauce, but there was plenty and the sticks were hot and crunchy outside and soft and gooey inside. I ordered the lasagna after having asked the server what would be better lasagna or meatloaf and she said the lasagna was seasonal so I got that. It was delicious. I actually brought half of it home which is not my style. I usually finish the whole thing. My friend had the stacked meatloaf and what a sight that was when it came out. It was covered in brown gravy with mashed potatoes and a giant knife stuck in the top and it looked really impressive. She said it was delicious and took hers mostly home too. Very pleased with the service, professional, efficient, very pleasant and nice place to have a meal.

    House Salad

I was in need of a sit down meal and not just a fast food stop. I walked and drove around the city for a while and just finally parked and got out Yelp to search nearby places to eat. This was nearby and the menu didn't look too bad. With that, I made my way here and decided to give it a try. When I entered this place appeared huge to me. There was more than enough seating in here to serve all the people on the street that walked/drove by. But, with it being between meals, the place was nearly empty. When I walked in I was asked how many, and as I was dining alone they asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, perfect choice. When I got to the bar the stools were not in the best condition and I chose the one that looked the least likely to fall apart when I sat in it. I was greeted by the bartender on shift and given a menu and asked what I would like to drink. I stuck with water since it was a rather warm day and I had been out all day. While the bartender was busy getting my drink and serving the two other customers at the bar, I looked over the menu. After browsing the menu for a bit I had decided that I already saw what I knew I was going to eat. When the bartender came back I was ready, I told her that I would start with the House Salad and my main course would be Stacked Woodland Farm Meatloaf. The description on the menu makes it sound delicious, plus it's meatloaf, one of the things I enjoy. I sat there and just enjoyed the air conditioning and water. I played on my phone until the House Salad appeared. This salad was hearty. Lettuce combined with a hefty helping of each of the following: avocado, almonds, bacon, eggs, tomato, Monterey Jack cheese, and gouda, dressing of your choice. This salad could have been a meal unto itself. I was about halfway through this salad when my main course appeared. The meatloaf was definitely stacked. It is a mix of pork and bison and was perfectly portioned. The slice of meatloaf sits on top of a piece of thick Texas toast and then has a big helping of smashed potatoes on top of it. But the thing that I think missed on this was the brown gravy. I didn't even notice the tobacco onions, I just noticed the brown gravy. The gravy is supposed to accompany and highlight the meatloaf, but it didn't. I'm not sure what happened to it, but it felt like the gravy may have sat a little too long in the warning area and it started to separate. Or maybe there was too much grease in it. It was piping hot, but it wasn't a homerun. The one thing that was noticeable here too were the other employees. They all looked a little miserable and it showed with how they interacted with each other. That left a little bit of a bad taste in your mouth that didn't come from the food.

Fabulous experience for our first time at Ditto's! Our waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious! Our favorites were the French onion soup, Mama Mia plate, Fettuccini Alfredo, Cuban sliders, and sweet potato fries. Happy Hour brings half price bar drinks (perfect old fashion) and a half price appetizer. They even honor it on Sat.! The restaurant has lovely woodwork and decor. It's an interesting setting with a sandwich shop in back. We had one little issue with our app not arriving on time but overall it was a wonderful experience!

    Pasta Carbonara with Crispy Chicken

The food is delicious. My husband had the pork chop dinner and I had the pasta carbonara with crispy chicken. Both were hot & delicious. Our server Madison was amazing! She knows the menu and was very helpful! The ambiance is casual. It's nice, clean, soft music playing that's not over powering. So you can enjoy it, and still have a great conversation while eating your meal with friends and family.

A very fun casual place. They play 80-90's music which I love. Beer was cold and service was great! I had a loaded potato and salad. Both were very good! Even cloth napkins! A must try when in the Highlands area

    Woodford Lemon Drop
    Aaron H.

Born and raised in Louisville over 30 years and this week I tried Ditto's for the first time! A staple in the Highlands, I've passed Ditto's countless times as I went to JCTMS & Highland. Not to mention the nights in my early 20s roaming Bardstown Rd and never once tried Ditto's. However, the verdict after years of waiting is it didn't met the hype but it wasn't bad. I started off with the Brisket Sliders, for entree I went with the New England Style Stuffed Shrimp and my drink of choice was the Woodford Lemon Drop. The sliders were a hit with the chipotle aioli! Although the shrimp were small, the flavor was on point. The prize of the evening though were the Woodford Lemon Drops! A unique style given KY is the home of Bourbon, the drinks were stiff and because of happy hour they were only $6. Atmosphere wise, Ditto's gives off a chill vibe. It's to be noted on given weekend or evening expect this place to be buzzing!

I come to dittos for special occasions. While it may not be the most fancy place, the food, the place and the staff are all amazing. Dittos has so many menu options available. On our visit today we ordered the meatloaf, the chicken carbonara and the chicken salad. Our waitress was kind and got us a kids meal ordered before leaving with our drink order. We were given refills on bread and drinks without even asking. Our food was delivered quickly and very fresh. We will continue to visit dittos as it is one of our favorites places in Louisville!

Moody lighting, thoughtful design, and a playlist that makes you want to stay all night. It's the kind of place that feels like a secret you're lucky to be in on. We started with a Paloma recommended by Ethan (bartender and apparently low-key rockstar). It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and an excellent recommendation.. We chatted mezcal, music, and more--Ethan's the kind of bartender who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. Got to talk mezcal with the owner, John, who's clearly passionate and seriously knowledgeable. He shared stories about sourcing, traveling, and working directly with producers. Learned more in 10 minutes from him than I have from any spirit tasting I've done. Super generous with his time and samples, which led to me walking out with a bottle of Espadín, an agave spirit, I'm now obsessed with. You don't find places like this often. I walked in around 5:15pm on a monday night, with plans for a friend to join me around 5:30. The sign at the host station said to wait to be seated. So I waited. And waited. and waited... Folks walked in after me, waited for a bit and then sat themselves at the bar. But I did not want to sit at the bar, we wanted to sit at a table. The server seemed to be willfully ignoring me and avoiding my attempts at eye contact. The bartender was taking care of everyone at the bar as well as making drinks for the rest of the patrons too, he saw me eventually and was looking around for the server or (nonexistent?) host to help me out. The bartender ultimately told me that I could just seat myself wherever I wanted, so I did. There were maybe 3 table seated at this point, it was not that busy. Then it took yet another chunk of time (6 pages read in my book I never leave home without) before I got water and menus. I was frustrated but was looking forward to seeing my friend and was ready to make the most of it. All that said, I like the vibe of the space. The dark, cozy vibes. We came because we wanted cocktails and something to nosh on. And eventually we got that. We shared a flatebread and an Asian-inspired hushpuppy sort of situation. They were pretty tasty and nice to have with our cocktails. The cocktail list is longer than expected and with a lot of intriguing sounding offerings. The two I had were very tasty and delicious! I would maybe come back again and sit at the bar so a solo visit if I had a stretch of time and no rush. My overall memory of the visit is still about the over-long wait/being ignored for such a long time after entering.
