I swear, TikTok always has us out here trying new places. When we got there, it was pretty busy. The host told us it would be about a 20-minute wait. About 10 minutes later, she came back and said they had to extend it to 35 minutes because the kitchen was backed up and they couldn't seat us yet. Mind you, there were hella open tables, and a bunch of people still waiting up front. Anyway... when we finally got our food, everything was kind of blah. The Nashville mozzarella sticks? Not worth the hype. TikTok lied. Again. My steak was overcooked and super dry. The loaded mashed potatoes tasted undercooked, and the asparagus was only half done. The restaurant was SO COLD. I was shivering waiting for my food but everything came out quick and the cold made me eat faster. Chips and salsa were good, salsa was runny but it had a lil kick to it. So stopped at this location today, had my fiancé, our two kids and my mom. We were greeting and sat pretty quickly and was told our waiter would be coming by. He did, I should've asked for his name but he didn't really say much threw some menus down and said he would be back. So I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant, while I try to patronize our local restaurant in our area this one need big improvements. Food was extremely salty, everything from the chips n salsa to the fries that came out with my husband burger, so bad we asked for more and it took over 30 mins of course the burger had been devoured by then. The one and thing that was delicious was the trifecta tequila drink and the Hennessy margarita ( this where they get two stars). I ordered their version of a Philly cheesesteak and couldn't have been more disappointed. Not more than two ounces of crumbly and dry beef on a stale bun is, quite frankly, embarrassing. When I transferred all the meat to one half of the bun, it still looked under filled. While I will likely return for their darned good burgers, most of their other offerings will now get a hard pass from me. I miss the Chili's of yesteryear with abundant and flavorful portions. My first time at chili's. I heard good things about the chips & salsa so I walked in with high expectations for it and it did not disappoint. The salsa was good and spicy! Highly recommend. The skillet queso was good as well, not much spinach. I decided to try the big mouth burger. It was honestly too big to bite. It had a lot going on, so maybe less would be better. I had to get dessert here and off course I chose the molten lava cake. It was so good. The cake was moist and quite chocolaty. There was more cake than ice cream but the combination is always a good choice. We did wait more than 5 minutes to be greeted by our server which was a bit surprising. Rob the Gm is a soft pansy boy, the hostesses are never at the door and have an attitude when you want to be seated, the cooks can't sell a ticket under 30 minutes and when it does come out it's either over done or raw, and the restaurant is dirty af and rundown. Chili's on Hwy 78 - They are so slow and disorganized. I placed my order online. The system said it would be ready in 35 minutes. I got a notification at the appointed time telling me to let them know when I arrived. I get to the restaurant, texted that I was there for curbside pickup. I waited 15 minutes and no food. I went inside and no one was at the register and everyone who came out of the kitchen acted like I, and the gentleman standing next to me were invisible. We're 35 minutes beyond the pickup time now and still waiting. WTH!! They finally bring the food and they don't have a complete order! I'm sooooo disgusted. I asked for a refund after waiting for another 10 minutes. Guess what? They would t give me anything indicating that the money was being refunded AND i have to trust that they will process it without 5-7 business days. It was ok for the most part. The first drink i got had a black speck floating around in it, and made me paranoid about drinking it. There were more cloudy mugs and black specks to come, but i just went with it since it wasn't unbearable. I don't think the intent of the mug uncleanliness was completely malicious. The server was weird, she was dry and a slight bit shady with the undertone of her responses to questions, which made her kinda annoying. Like i asked what a dish was and rather than say what it specifically was, she just responded: "soup" in a matter of factly tone. Not cool. And when i asked for additional side sauces in advance she was like "you may have to remind me, because the chef won't add them". Lol. (To me that's not good service, to ask me to remind you of what I just asked you.) Unfortunately, the main chilis website list the city, "Snellville" was above the "Lilburn" store location, I ordered online for pickup at the wrong location because of this. I called the store immediately to cancel the order, no one ever came to the phone via "auto hold". I tried to call 3 times in a row, waiting on hold for at least 5 minutes. Then comes back with a technical error. Then I ordered online at the correct "snellville" location and their promised ready time at :6:37 pm, did not happen till 7:10pm. So I left, didn't get any food from Chilis today. Do you think by now they would have their Covid system set up ?? looks like a complete incompetent disaster.
