Triple Dipper: Sliders, Southwestern Eggrolls, and Nashville Hot Mozz
    Michelle C.

I'm not usually a fan of American food since it tends to be too salty for my taste, but there's something different about Chili's. I've noticed that all my friends love Chili's. I decided to go with my friend for a late night food session and we had to order the Triple Dipper, I didn't even know, but this dish is what's trending on TikTok right now. My friend and I shared the Triple Dipper with Southwestern Egg Rolls, Sliders, and the Nashville Hot Mozzarella Stick. I was honestly surprised--I actually enjoyed it everything. While I don't typically go to American chains, Chili's is definitely an exception. It's probably my favorite American chain restaurant, and honestly, it's the only one I would genuinely suggest and go to without hesitation.

We had such a great experience at this Chili's, and a huge part of that was our server, Chrissy. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Super attentive without being overbearing, checked in on us regularly, and genuinely engaged with our table. Our food came out hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered, and Chrissy made sure everything was perfect the entire time. Her energy, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly 10/10 customer service. This is the kind of service that makes you want to come back. Shoutout to Chrissy for making our visit so enjoyable!

Burgers, Beer and a good time always at chilis. This is such a hotspot for lunch and dinner. The burgers are delicious and outstanding with the bacon added onto any burger.

It's been a while since I've been to chilis and unfortunately it just wasn't the same as before. I used to love their Chipotle honey crispy tenders but it just wasn't that good. The tenders were small dry and sauce just tasted different. The sides were okay I liked the loaded mashed potato's the best. For the price it's quite expensive considering quantity and quality of food but the service was really good. Our server was amazing and very nice and friendly.

Old Faithful is what this Chilis has become. My neighborhood Chilis has never let me down yet. I've always had a great experience with great food. The Restuarant is always clean and the service is always top tier. I honestly do not have any complaints. From the juiciest burgers, best boneless wings & Ultimate pasta. I'm always satisfied when I get food from this Chilis!

Not the most favorable of visits. It had been ages since going to a Chili's so figured I'd give it a try. They had the air conditioner running to the point it was frigid inside. Many patrons had thier coats on as did I as it was extremely cold inside. I ordered hot tea and soup, not because I wanted it but because it was freezing inside. The soup was very good, I would've ordered a larger bowl in fact. I also got an order or quesadillas which were lacking seasoning but OK. The service was questionable to say the least. Our server came by to take our order, someone else brought our food and our server never came by again. We went to the bar to get our drink refills. Nothing would have me return back.

Over $4 for a SIDE of mac&cheese! They didn't even fill the containers! I paid for 4 sides and not a single one was a full order. The upcharge is already insanely high, then you don't even give a full serving! Plus I tipped on a to go order! So ridiculous, ripping people off!

I ordered the ancho salmon through door dash and it came without any sauce and was dry . Awful experience for paying $40.

I chose a great day to visit due to the fact it's opening day for the World Cup. The Colony location provided a great atmosphere and opportunity to cheer on Mexico defeating South Africa 2-0. The crowd definitely heavily favored Mexico. The place was packed a testimony to the quality service you will receive there. My server was Madelynn and she couldn't have been better. I wanted to get in early to get a spot since I'm visiting from Florida. I wasn't sure how quickly it would fill up. Madelynn was exceptional and very attentive. She made great recommendations and told me about their Dos Equis contest. I drank a few to help out her sales. I never had to ask for anything and her menu knowledge was great. She's got a spectacular look and should be a great brand ambassador for the company. I recently purchased a Rowdy Cowboy 2026 calendar on this trip and hope to see her in next years edition. She's going to be a great promotional girl. Thank you Michael J Beal Clearwater, Florida

My Overall Rating - 2 1/2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food); 5 Stars if all you care about is the service. Atmosphere - The design is almost identical to the OG location in Grapevine. There's a large bar in the middle of the restaurant (sit here for the best service). There's even a lit "SADDLE UP" sign on the wall. But The Colony location didn't seem to be as packed as Grapevine, but it was still full of good vibes. 1 Star Service - The service at Rowdy Cowboy is legendary. If you (or a good friend) have chosen to eat here, then you know the service is amazing. If you sit at the bar, your bartender is your server. I've sat at the bar and at a table, and IMO the service at the bar is the best. 1 Star. Food - On this visit, I decided to order the daily special "Medallion Mondays". The description was a steak medallion with sides. Unfortunately, it was a very small portion. Now, it was perfectly grilled and very tender, it was just small. It wasn't enough to satisfy me, so I ordered ice cream for dessert. Thank goodness, this saved my lunch, because the simple vanilla ice cream was served with fried cinnamon chips that would make the State Fair of Texas vendors nervous. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - No. Rowdy Cowboy in The Colony is like 2/3rds of the OG. 2/3 the atmosphere, 2/3 the service, 2/3 the portion sides, etc. I'd rather go back to the Grapevine location.

Our tour was led by Jamie, who shared his extensive knowledge as he guided us through the Prohibition Era alongside our concierge, Landon. The speakeasy features stunning floors made of 120-year-old Italian wood, beautifully decorated with art, books, and a selection of premium entertainment and spirits. We sat on the patio, which is very well situated for the heat. We caught a beautiful sunset and the temps were pleasant. We started out with the buffalo cauliflower and it was perfect. I was afraid it was going to be too spicy for me and it wasn't! Great flavor and very well done. I had the chicken fried chicken with the jalapeño gravy on the side. The chicken was pounded thin, which was surprising. It still managed to be moist and had good spices. I ended up using more of the gravy due to the good taste. It came with mashed potatoes and I subbed out for mixed veggies. The veggies were crisp and fresh; better than I expected. We had the bread pudding and carrot cake for dessert. The bread pudding had buffalo trace whiskey instead of rum sauce. Everyone at our table agreed it was one of the best we'd had. The carrot cake was good but unremarkable. There was a musician playing, which contributed to the great atmosphere. This was a hit and we'll definitely be back!

We…read moreneeded a place that could satisfy a diner with a more "meat and potatoes" kind of palate, but that wouldn't break the bank. The two of these together really limit your options, but after finding The Rackhouse on a Yelp search, it seemed to tick all of the boxes. Traditional steakhouses were just too expensive, and "New American" places just didn't have enough of the familiar home cooked fare. Anyone who's spent much time in the Dallas/Ft Worth area recently knows how stiflingly hot it's been. But amazingly, our dinner here was on the first day with measurable rainfall in, well, forever or so it felt. And with it, the temperature came down, and then the hostess asked "would you like to sit on the patio?" We opted for that, and wow, what a treat! The space is expansive, with great seating and tables, misting fans (which weren't needed on this one day!) and "shade sails" (I had to look that up) to provide stylish cover from the overhead sun, but the best part of all, was a westerly facing view that brought us an absolutely stunning sunset (see my picture). Live music was provided by a really talented crooner with a guitar, belting out his versions of some great hits with feeling, and at a volume that still allowed conversation. A truly special setting. But what of the food? Once again, The Rackhouse delivered for everyone in our party. My wife and I opted for the buffalo cauliflower appetizer, little bite sized nuggets of battered joy that still had texture and firmness, but was well cooked and tasted great with the accompanying sauce. My entree was the grilled meatloaf, served with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. I asked for the gravy on the side, and honestly, I preferred ketchup on the meat loaf (I am from south of the Mason Dixon line, after all), but the gravy was great with the potatoes. The meat loaf itself was well cooked yet still tender, and well seasoned. Two other diners chose the chicken fried chicken, and its presentation was a little polarizing. It's pounded VERY thin, offering a crispy bite that's easy to cut with a fork, and easy to dip into the creamy gravy. I personally loved it, but one diner was wishing for it to be a little thicker. Finally, the server was able to talk us into dessert, which for me and another of our party was the Buffalo Trace Bread Pudding, and - wow. Featuring a whisky based sauce in lieu of the usual rum based sauce, it had a fantastic, rich flavor that elevated the tender yet substantial breading - it was fantastic. If you're sweet on sweets, this one is a winner. This was truly a wonderful experience in every way, and we'll be going back when the weather gets a little cooler for more time on that knockout patio. You should try it, too!

This was an extremely empty neighborhood bar on a Tuesday night, and they actually ended their Bingo/Singo activity early because there weren't enough people. I decided to stay for one more drink, a double mezcal pineapple (my first drink had been free with the game), and later ordered their $10 microwaved mozzarella sticks. When I got my check, I was pretty confused to see a $44 charge for one drink and the mozzarella sticks. I politely asked, "Hey, can I see the itemized check?" The bartender laughed in my face and told me no because he had actually given me a discount. He then started proclaiming, both to me and the gentleman sitting next to me, how generous he had been to give me the free drink at the beginning of the night (which was part of the advertised game promotion and something I had specifically asked about) and how expensive doubles are. While he was yelling, I decided to just pay the tab and leave. Given the way he was speaking to me, I did not leave a tip. Apparently, that made things worse. He started yelling to the other patron about how I wasn't tipping, trying to embarrass me in front of him, and saying, "Looked like she loved it though, 'cause it's empty." I calmly told him that this entire situation could have been avoided if he had simply given me the itemized receipt I asked for. I wasn't refusing to pay. I just wanted to understand what I was being charged for, especially since it was my first time at the bar. Instead of simply showing me the bill, he chose to argue with me and publicly embarrass me in front of his only other patron. He finally printed the itemized check, at which point I told him it was too late. He then explained that he had poured Casamigos Mezcal, which I never asked for, and that was why the double was a $30 drink. Again, this is an empty neighborhood bar, not an upscale cocktail bar. I was expecting something in the $18 to $24 range and never asked for a high end pour. If you're going to serve a premium spirit without the customer requesting it, especially in a simple mixed drink, it would be reasonable to mention that before charging $30 for it. I have the money and paying the bill wasn't the issue. The issue was the way the situation was handled. When a customer politely asks to see an itemized check, especially at an empty neighborhood bar, the appropriate response is to simply hand them the check. There was absolutely no reason for the bartender to laugh at me, yell at me, or try to embarrass me in front of another customer. I would have happily paid and probably would have come back. Instead, I left wondering why a simple request for a receipt turned into such an unnecessary confrontation. And the owner, the hosts of the game, the nice old folks who live down the street who all asked to see me next week - absolutely not.
