We had really great service from a server named Jeremiah. We had our 10 week old daughter and a stroller. He helped us get settled in. The food was good but nothing spectacular. It is a bit too crowded for my taste. When you need to let the table behind you know that you will be standing up, it is too crowded. They could get rid of a table or two to make everyone more comfortable. read more

It has been a while since I ate at Chili's. I stopped going because food was so bad. I saw that they had a new menu so I gave them another try. The restaurant was clean and wait staff was friendly. I ordered their Guacamole Burger. The burger was terrible. The bun was stale. It was obvious that the patty had been a frozen puck. To make matters worse it was terribly overcooked. I have had better burgers from McDonald's. It was served with cold under cooked fries. Someone that came in with me ordered a bacon chicken sandwich that came with only one piece of bacon that was burnt. read more

Chili's is our favorite to sit at the bar on a Saturday after shopping and have an appetizer and couple of Margaritas. Bartender was fantastic and the loaded chicken quesadilla fantastic . HOWEVER. Pretty disappointed with this one. Every meal I've had here has been hit and miss and very average. Portions are misleading and overpriced... And my rice was hard. I think there are some good items on the menu, but I haven't had very good experiences here like everyone claims. read more

Ate lunch there today and a wife had sliders and they were very good. The french fries were abundant and greet. I went with the full rack of ribs combo and I swear they were the best ribs I've ever eaten. We also had onion rings appetizer and although they tasted good, they were not homemade. Two friends and I went to Chili's on Monday night. The Cubs were set to play, so we grabbed a seat at the bar. It was the best choice we made. The bartender, Tish, was AMAZING. She made us feel like we were at home watching. She definitely had a southern vibe calling all of us love and sweetie. She made sure to keep our glasses full, and she was quick to ask if we needed anything else. She was very kind, and she knew several of the other patrons by names. Always great service!!! Food is ok - standard American type food. But chips & salsa so good

We were at chili's with a big family group of 7, our issue was not with service even though our service was not great given the orders were all mixed up and drinks were constantly empty. What was horrible was my 2 year old niece began to choke and I jumped into action and thankfully she was fine but not even a single staff member look in our direction even though we were all in panic mode! Then, a server moved the to go boxes to the side of a shelf to place her dirty shoe on the shelf to tie it and proceeded to place the to go boxes back on top of where her dirty shoe was! If they are doing things like that out in front of customers I don't want to know what's going on behind the scenes. I am still shocked no one even checked on my niece afterwards or during her scare! And you can bet we did not take any to go boxes home! read more

Chili's here is always reliably good. We order carryout more often than eat-in, and they always have everything ready to go, exactly as ordered. When we eat at the restaurant, the service is always good, everyone's friendly, and while there is often a brief wait, they keep things moving. I would definitely recommend the Normal, IL Chili's to anyone who likes great tex-mex food, good service, good drinks and desserts, and a great atmosphere. Absolutely loved my visit. Tish was seriously the best waitress ever! I saw how she interacted with all her tables and she was amazing! You can tell she really works hard and has a wonderful heart. She had several tables and was helping some other servers, all while being very patient, pleasant, and attentive to everyone. Manager decided to be rude to me after a server flipped a tray and an entire meal spilled on my clothes. When I told her I thought she was being inappropriate with what she said to me after, she became more rude and defensive. Just left here on a Friday afternoon, sat in the bar and our waiter was really busy but gave me the best service I've ever received. This was my first visit at this chilis, as to being in town for a concert, we decided to stop on our way out of town. Christian was absolutely phenomenal and extremely attentive. Unfortunately the kiosk terminal stopped working so I could not leave the review with the restaurant but I hoping they see it here. I read some of the other reviews posted about this specific chilis but I want to say that I couldn't disagree more with them. I got the Chicken fajitas and my boyfriend got a burger. Food was good, but Christians service is what took the cake. Even under pressure and having 6 other tables to take care of during a Friday lunch hour, he gave me the service you'd expect in a big city, he was polite and knowledgeable. On top of everything! Unfortunately I can't say I would recommend Chili's even with the 2 for $22. Typically I enjoy Chili's during my frequent visits.....Not my last two visits last Saturday and today. Last week I ordered the sirloin steak medium well and it was tough as ever as if it had been microwaved. Also the queso wasn't even warm...they should have been using the microwave to warm the queso. I remained silent last week because I was with a friend and didn't want him feeling uncomfortable. Today I decided to treat my daughters to lunch, silly me thought Chili's would be a great place...so very WRONG !!!! My steak was not medium well, queso wasn't warm, raspberry tea wasn't stirred. My daughter ordered black beans which were cold. Overall my visit was a waste of money and time. I definitely will NOT return to Chili's anytime soon. I wouldn't return anytime soon even if the 2 for $22 became 2 for $2.00. There are way too many restaurants in the area to play will my food be eatable today or not...I know the answer to that question when it comes to Chili's. Save your time and money !!! read more

Horrible dining experience. Worst Chili's ever!!! Menu was dirty, table was sticky, and burger was severely overcooked and black. Onion strings were over fried and very, very very greasy to the point of being a very dark color. That also proves that the fryer grease was old and hadn't been replaced anytime soon. read more

Let's just say the entire restaurant was flooded with toilet water. Oh and also the fish tacos were cold, waitress forgot the salad, and there was food all over the floor. When the staff is soaked to the shins with water from the bathroom then that's a hint that this place is absolutely terrible. read more
