Chicken Fajita

After spending our time at Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve we were looking for a place to have dinner and searched near for a place. The Chili's was near us and open till 10:00. So we decided to have dinner at Chili's. The atmosphere was great and it had a very good vibe. We were seated on the table and greeted by the server with menus and water. After seeing the menu we decided to order black coffee, Spicy Shrimp Tacos, Cajun Shrimp Pasta and Chicken Fajita. The service was quite good and we soon got our food. The black coffee was perfectly brewed and loved my coffee. The chicken fajita was delicious and tasty. The chicken was cooked perfectly for the fajitas. The spicy shrimp tacos and cajun shrimp tacos were delicious too. The shrimp was perfectly cooked for both of them and loved the food. The food was delicious and tasty. Loved the food and service at Chili's.

Well done steak! I like my stuff charred haha... broccoli and shrimp. Delicious!

I feel like for this being a chain, the San Luis Valley Chili's has great food that's usually fresh. It stays open late which mostly places close early in the valley so that's the benefit of having this business in our community.

We had a great dinner at this Chili's. The employees were so friendly and helpful. The food was warm, tasted great, and we had plenty leftover. We had soup, salad, chips/salsa, kids pizza, sirloin, a burger, and chicken sandwich. Oh and the Presidente Margarita was perfect!!

The fangtastic rita that I got

food was tasty and good but the drinks were crazy expensive and tasted like ass Coke was shit Fangtastic rita gave me a stomach ache and didn't come with the little teeth And it was my birthday. Don't recommend unless you have a lot of money for shit drinks. The Ribs are delicious though

Food was very good, generous, well priced, but unfortunately, the new hire didn't quite have it together yet. She was unfortunately all on her own for portion of our time there. And was very slow in responding. However, her happy demeanor, smile and apologies. Definitely made up for it. I'm sure what time her expertise will improve. BTW, fred, Cook needs to work on his onion rings, skill, they came out in one big clump.

I shouldn't give 4th Street Grille a 1 star review because we never got to try the food, so my 1…read morestar is because of the of the following: It was a very quiet Saturday at lunch time. There was 3 other tables - it was not busy. Took a minute for menus, ok, waiter was maybe busy? but not with other tables, she was not to be seen. I just really wanted a good burger... it was my 'birthday' lunch with family. We were finally able to ask about the special that FLASHES when you go online. $5 BURGERS, Friday and SATURDAY. Was informed that's only on Friday, she was told last night. Opened APP on phone while sitting right in the restaurant, there it was, $5 burgers, Friday and Saturday. She was going to check. She didn't come back, so we left. I was so curious about their extensive menu, and really wanted a burger that I've read about being fabulous in other reviews. I doubt we'll be back, VIP or not. So disappointed. (btw - there is no ambiance.)

We started off with their Bavarian pretzel with queso and it was one of the best pretzels we've had. Soft and fresh out of the oven! My boyfriend had their beer flight and said that each beer tasted good. He ended up getting the patty melt with onion rings and was very impressed! The sizes of our meals were huge! I got the crispy chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was the star of the show! I sometimes am nervous about getting crispy chicken on a salad because I feel like it can be hard to get right but I found myself wanting more of the chicken on the salad!! If you are stopping by Alamosa we definitely recommend stopping here!!!

We got the pretzel as an appetizer.... The pretzel was greasy and so was the cheese they gave with it. The cheese seemed frozen, then microwaved. It had a really dull/greasy taste and odd texture. The French dip was like rubber. And the au jus sauce was bland. For her the best part was the side salad. She even said her beer had an odd taste to it. My chicken sandwich had no flavor. The red potatoes where severly over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. My drink (the house black cherry cream soda), was really good the first glass! Second glass was flat and very syrupy. The server briefly came by a couple times. He would quickly ask "everything ok?", as he rushed by. He wasn't horrible, but he wasn't great either. Overall we where very unimpressed. Not somewhere we'll be returning to. For the price, I had better expectations.
