We had an appointment once and showed up and the whole office was closed. No call to let us know and they they couldn't get us back in for a month. Bad orthodontics and bad customer service. Our regular dentist has even stopped referring people there for orthodontics. Not recommended.

They come here when they can't compete in the cities. I had a horrible experience at the Kern Valley Dental Center. They charged me $2000 for a lower partial that they insisted in jamming into my mouth immediately after pulling 4 front teeth for another $800, it was a terrible fit, I had to take it out in the morning because of the pain, more pain getting it out. They were mad at me for doing so that same morning at the clinic, tried to jam it right back in again, and it hurt like hell. I yelled out in pain and was told I "couldn't behave like that" by the dentist, as if I were some misbehaving child. Had to have the partial fitted after my gums healed, by a professional, who said the thing wasn't made right. Meanwhile, after telling the receptionist that I wouldn't be coming back in, I was sent the snarky letter I took a photo of, below. Would you expect this from professionals?

He does the most when it comes to checking your bite, how your jaw sits, if you have a cross bite, if your jaw clicks, etc. I've had other Orthodontists tell me I should get Jaw surgery for Aesthetic purposes, mind you I can fix my bite with braces. Some paperwork. Short wait. Ashton was still awesome and did a great job on my cleaning. I think she's going to make an awesome dentist someday based on what a great Hygenist she is today.
