When I tell my friends and family about the teachers and staff at Children's Choice, I almost tear up at how great they are to my babies. My daughter has been going there since she was 10 months old, and my newborn son also just started. I always feel at ease because I am constantly getting photos and update. Thank you to Ms Liz, Gia, and Kaela and Michelle for being so kind and nice at drop off and pick up. I would recommend this school to any of my friends and family. The teachers and staff there are amazing they teach their students things you can't find at other schools, lessons that are not only academic but also lessons that they will use later in life . After a really bad experience at a neighboring day care, we were reluctant to even try another day care. But I am SO glad that we did. My kids love going every day. The teachers treat my children like they're own and give them so much love and kindness. My children's development and education has also sky rocketed. They're learning something new every day and I'm always in awe with how much they've learned in such a short amount of time. They have an app where you can get updates on your kiddos throughout the day and pictures. I feel 100% confident in the safety and well being of my children at this school/ day care. Children's Choice Academy has been great for our daughter. Especially Ms. Melanie and Ms. Shellee's class. Our daughter blossomed in their class. We saw improvement in the way she socialized with her peers and her speech exploded. I am absolutely appalled by the behavior of the staff regarding one of their team members. First let me point out that any information regarding my children should be private. The owner or vp whatever she is should be absolutely ashamed of herself. I get a call from my X husband stating that one of the employees if accusing me of neglect and abuse of my child. Not because I abuse and neglect him, but because he had lice and she had to go home as well. First off the employee that is accusing me of this I had no idea had a direct relation to my xhusband. If I knew this person was watching my child, I absolutely would of never left my child. 1. I get a call stating "She was on her break." 2. They said there is no proof she said it. 3. We are not going to do anything. 4. The situation has still not been rectified. I'm absolutely mortified that an employee can go around with false accusations with no reprocussions when they were standing on the facility while I did a due diligence to pick my children up immediately and take care of the situation. I will not be threated nor tolerate behavior so outrageous. I am also withholding some information to protect the employee that I have an issue with. On top of that, my 1 year old son had something in his eye. (Literally banana that he just ate and smeared all over himself in the car.) Another employee takes her phone out, turns the flashlight on and shines it directly in his eyes to take a look. I had to put my arm out to stop it. I highly recommend staying away from the baby room. On top of all that, my son is supposed to drink almond milk and I had been providing that for a few months. I get to the day care to pick my child up and he's drinking formula. I am placing a 3 star review because Miranda the director, Angie and everyone in the school age class have been nothing but amazing. I am now left in a situation since it has taken so long to do anything regarding the situation, that I'm removing my children. Especially since they are being threatened by an employee. read more

I have been using children's choice for over 8 years. I currently have one full time child in and my two oldest for the summer care. I've been through a handful of teachers and have had kids as young as 6 weeks enrolled. If there have ever been issues, I've voiced my opinion and have been heard loudly from management and my issues resolved. The current VP of Operations is a true blessing! In the midst of the rapid changes recently, she has stepped up and become such an amazing asset to the team. I absolutely love her and everything she does for my children and the school. There is no doubt in my mind that my children are safe and well taken care of. I truly am so happy with her and the way she's leading the team that watches our babies. My two older children started kindergarten more advanced than more than half their class due to Miss Adriana's teaching and Miss Angie in the Owl Room. My youngest adores his Miss "Nana" and Miss Shelly. I just really am thankful to have this daycare. I even found work 45 mins away from my home to keep my children enrolled here. If you're looking for someone to help raise your babies, this is the spot to go! Communicative, understanding, and just all around amazing!! I have nothing but great things to say about Children's Choice, and my sons' teachers Ms. Shelley & Ms. Melanie. This is my sons first full year at daycare and I felt like he would have a really hard time away from us at home, but his teachers make him feel so comfortable and loved, that he LOVES going to school each day. Ms. Melanie and Ms. Shelley make it a point to reach out to me daily, let me know how he was doing, things he was working on etc and as a mother, that really stands out to me because they take time out of their day to make sure that I am aware of how my child is doing. My son always comes home from school, talking about how Ms. Melanie & Ms. Shelley are his best friends and how he loves them so so much. I could not ask for two better teachers, and they do not get enough credit and recognition for the things that they do! I just want to say that Children's Choice Lakeside has been a second home for my family since I have had to entrust my kids to care when going back to work over 7 yrs ago. They have watched 4 out of 5 of our kids and all of the staff treat them like their own They are having their holiday event this Friday the 20th from 6:30-8:00 They are all about the community and have such an open door policy everyone is welcome to come check them out. Two stars because of flexible hours. My daughter was with another child and she was playing a game where they hold their breath and pass out. The staff mom was consumed with her child disciplining him and it had happened before. Not multitasking well. As I walk in they said that she fell as she was playing. She was very quiet. I asked her and she said they where all bored so the kids started making up their own game. She did pass out. One of her pupils was smaller than other, er dr confirmed a small concussion. Was back in 2016. Maybe staff changed. read more

This school has been really great for my family. I admit, I'm particular about my child but they were very great about taking great care of my child. My irregular hours, cleanliness standards and other particulars werent a good fit for other schools in the area. The office staff and teachers were great. They took good care of my child even with our hectic schedule. Ms. Bianca was my sons teacher and she seemed to genuinely care about him and his well being. My child really liked the pets outside and in the classrooms. I would recommend this school. read more

I can not say enough good things about this daycare/preschool. Both my daughters have excelled in their milestones with the help of the teachers here. They are always on top of communication with me if there is ever an issue. The teachers love my children as if they are their own and as a full time working mom I couldn't ask for more. The piece of mind I have leaving my children there and not having to worry about their well being while I am at work is priceless. Their pre-kinder class is amazing and the teachers exceeded anything I could have asked for. As anywhere children are involved, even with the parents, accidents happen and kids misbehave for one reason or another but the staff has always been great at correcting and communicating any issues. This is a terrific day care, love Ms. Taryn the 2 year old teacher. She is informative and friendly and my son always comes home happy. I love how close it is to my house and that the play yard is hidden away from the street and private. Every week they do fun things for the kids and the price is affordable! I am so impressed with the care in this center. My son attended the preschool and we were so in love with it that when I had my daughter we had no questions were to enroll her. The infant program is first class. The teachers in there treat the children as if it was their own. The care is top notch and the staff is the best I've seen. We are sad to leave such a wonderful place, they treated us like family, but it is time for our daughter to move on to kindergarten. Our daughter loved her teachers, she made lots of friends, and really enjoyed the overall experience. They always had lots of activities going on, field trips, etc. I feel confident that she learned valuable skills that will help her as she transitions into kindergarten.
