When Dr. Quinlan opened his own office in 1986 we followed him and continued under his expert dental care and our young daughter also became one of his patients. Dr. Quinlan lives to practice dentistry and he truly enjoys his profession. His high level of professionalism and very thorough treatment along with his genuinely friendly, personable attitude make him an outstanding dentist. If you experience a dental emergency the staff at Willowood Family Dental will bend over backwards to accommodate your treatment. No matter how serious your dental problems may be, Dr. Quinlan and the other dentists will patiently, calmly explain what the problem is, what must be done to deal with it, and how and why they will do the procedure(s). Their treatment is meticulous and pain free. I cannot praise the people working at Willowood Family Dental enough. The dentists, the front desk office staff, the dental assistants and the dental hygienists are all welcoming, friendly and caring. They collectively make going to the dentist's office a positive experience because you will be treated compassionately and professionally. Describing a dentist visit as a "pleasure" may sound strange to most, but coming to Dr. Quinlan's office always feels that way. From Pat and Nancy's friendly dispositions when scheduling dental appointments and arriving for my checkups and fillings to Dr. Quinlan's patient and comforting nature as I sit in the chair, this practice is a place where patients are treated like family in a warm and sincere manner. I could take a cheaper dental plan from my work, but I intentionally pay for PPO and drive from Doylestown to Levittown because it's well worth it to go to someone I trust. Dr. Quinlan would never tell me I need an unnecessary filling or procedure and he is always fully transparent with every move he makes when I come to see him. I'm a very nervous person when it comes to the dentist, and rather than being annoyed by me (I would be!), Dr. Quinlan takes his time and always checks to see if I'm doing okay. She is very thorough. Before she would start her procedure, she will explain to you what she's going to do. She is very accommodating. When my temporary tooth came off, she gave me her personal number and when I called her she gave me instructions on what I needed to do. The second time that I was in pain I called her again and she was not in the office that day but she contacted the office to call my pharmacy for my medicines. All the staff that works in this office are very friendly and accommodating too, especially Colleen. She helped me to contact the specialist one time when I had issues on what type of procedure that was done for me because I was in pain for a week. She always checked with my two insurances first if any major procedure is needed to check if it's covered so there is no surprises on my bills. When I asked if she could fax the cardiac clearance request to me, Colleen proceeded to say, "that's funny when we just did that yesterday and your office stated it was received." As I began to tell her, this is a different location for the provider and it was possible the form was sent to that office she cut me off and began to speak over me- her tone of voice was not professional or courteous and not that of someone who should be answering the phone. Instead of using her words, she began to say umm hmm. I normally would not write a review, but this conversation did not go as planned. I'm still waiting for the fax.

No explanation of coverages/benefits before checkout and the big bill that shows up, especially when insurance changes (Which they take very few plans). Little to no regard for patient feedback and concerns, only scheduling the next procedure/appointment. Be careful with billing department too as they pre-billed for $700+ for services that were not started for my daughter despite notifying them multiple times that we were not ready to move forward. No notification, no receipt, no outreach. I had to call to ask for help and then had to call again the next week to get it resolved as nobody bothered to call back. Just unprofessional all-around.
