The program is a wonderful balance of structured group activities and free learning, with an emphasis on creativity and character development. Concepts like the alphabet, seasons, numbers, and days of the week are introduced in a fun, gradual way. The thing that really sets the Beehive apart is the warmth and caring extended by the teachers, parents, and kids. Ms. Ertz and Ms. Chesser genuinely love their work and absolutely pour themselves into what they do. They truly do an incredible job and "bring it" every single day. I have gotten more than a couple parenting tips from watching the expert way they are able to soothe high emotions and create an environment where the kids are motivated to act with kindness and respect. Finally, I would like to say that my daughter is seriously ecstatic about her teachers, friends, and all the activities she does at school. She constantly pretends to be a teacher at home now, and she has learned so much from the other kids (thanks to a lot of gentle teacher guidance) about sharing, kindness, and the joys of being a good friend. I whole-heartedly recommend the Bee Hive for anyone who celebrates childhood and wants a holistic, intelligent, loving preschool program for their little one.

These were all lies. We walked in on the first day and all the day care providers were walking around outside of the child care room eating donuts and drinking coffee while one lady was holding an infant as the rest of the room was in chaos. From 7AM until 9AM all the children (all ages) are in one room together. We watched as we saw older kids push and be rough with the little kids. We watched as the "adults" text'd away on their phones. Their excuse? "We're short handed this morning." When we picked her up from daycare later that morning (4 hrs later), she had a VERY full diaper. We asked if they changed her. They said "No, we were too busy." So, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to see if was just one bad day... The very next day. Same thing. The same day care providers looked at our daughter the next day and said "Hi little girl. Who are you?" OK, we were here yesterday, we stated. "No, I would have remembered your daughter." This is unacceptable! I cannot believe that they have the legal right to run a business of taking care of children in this manner. This should be illegal. I was ashamed as a human being for even walking out of this establishment. I felt like I was the worst parent in the world for leaving my daughter's well being with these people. DO NOT USE THIS DAYCARE!

We have been going to this daycare for several years now. My daughters have had an overall good…read moreexperience but there are a few things that I think they do wrong. 1. There is not someone who sits up front all day. That door should remain manned NO MATTER WHAT. Sure, there is a code you have to press to get in, but machines fail. Man the front door! 2. My child rides the van to school everyday. She is in kindergarten and rarely gets help with her homework. She then gets frown faces or notes like "follow directions" even when we as parents try to help her correct them. (Part of that is on the school but still) 3. They will randomly close for staff development and leave parents high and dry. 4. Fundraisers. Let me just state for the record that fundraisers for a for profit business seems illegal and down right shady. Like I said, the teachers are good and I haven't had an issue with that. Just know what you are getting in to.

The teacher and director of Foundations Christian Preschool was unable to provide satisfactory explanations for marks and bruises on him. We asked him why he didn't like it there and he said they hit him, we asked him who and he said his friends hit him every day and that his teacher was mean to him all the time. It was brought to my attention that my four year old grandson was isolated from the rest of the children all the time. This has been going on for months, he was not allowed to eat or participate in some activities with any of the other children, or apparently even nap with them. At nap he was put behind a wall in a corner by himself to sleep. When speaking to the director, she admitted to knowing that he was isolated from the other children and that she knew it was wrong and if we would leave him there that she would work on changing it in the next few weeks. We noticed on the centers Facebook a picture of my grandson was posted of him not being able to participate in a classroom party and was sitting at at table by himself facing the wall with his name on it. When doing more research on this facility not only have there been multiple allegations from parents saying their kids were hit there, but this past year a 5 year old climbed over the fence and was not noticed missing until some people at McDonald's noticed a small child walking in the parking lot alone and reported it. This is not a safe environment for any child. I hope no other child has to go through the mental and physical abuse by these monsters like my grandson did.

Not only was this a place where I knew my child was loved and cared for, but she was taught sooooo much and this has helped her excel in school! I never have issues with cleanliness and they have been wonderful working around our 1 year olds food allergies to nearly everything. Cost has gone up on occasion, but they have actually made improvements to the classrooms and purchased a new bus. We don't mind the rate increase when we can see the money being put to good use.
