After much searching and debating back and forth the style of artist that I am looking for, I chose Jing and was definitely not let down at all! Her level of detail work is just amazing and the tattoo that I was interested in getting relied heavily on being able to draw straight and clean lines. She was absolutely fantastic- I truly appreciated her perfectionism and she made sure that everything was perfect before even picking up her needle. She did a thorough job and I loved how everything came out. Definitely felt like I made the right choice to come here for Jing to do my first tattoo! Prior to leaving, the guy in the front made sure to go over the instructions on how to take care of the tattoo- how long to keep the tegaderm tape on, what to do if it starts to peel off earlier and any other general maintenance I needed to know since this was my first time! If you're looking to get a very detailed tattoo done or you want to get your first tattoo done 'perfectly'- highly recommend coming to Jing! :)

If you're looking for a whimsical hyper realistic tattoo, he is your guy. He can literally tattoo a Da Vinci on you if you want. As always with tattoos it helps if you have a clear vision and can communicate it well. My husband has a sleeve with an earth/antiquity/outer space theme and I have a couple flowers done by Phil. All of it looks amazing. As with all good art, it is an investment. Phil is pricey but worth every penny. He is also so very kind. He has a vast library of tv shows and movies and offers snacks and drinks to ensure your comfort during your session. Numbing cream is also available for longer sessions. I can't recommend Phil enough.

Everyone at the shop was super nice, they have a bar area that you can get food/drinks at for all the waiting people wait at to fill out forms and before the tattoo. They are EXTREMELY hygienic, Chu spent like 10 minutes wiping down and sanitizing her equipment and area before tattooing me and everyone (staff and guests) was required to wear masks. Glad they were being as safe as possible especially with COVID and monkeypox going around. The shop itself is super cool. Huge windows and it really has a nice open and modern concept to it. Great view of the city and very relaxing to get tattooed there. The tattoo turned out great for me! Was super fast, only lasted about 1-1.5 hours and Chu was super talkative and talked to me the whole time. She was very good about aftercare directions too and even didn't give me the second skin wrap since it itched for me on a previous tattoo. That definitely has helped as this tattoo is significantly less itchy that my previous one. Definitely would come back to get another tattoo from her. Bonus: I am vegan and they use vegan products and a vegan process! Super cool and that helped put my mind at ease about that stuff. This shop is amazing and absolutely worth your time!

I received angry, profanity-filled messages accusing me of disrespect, when all i did was speak up about how i was being talked too. it was clear the issue wasn't about the tattoo, but about control, & wounded pride. the part that bothered me most was the uncalled-for insults. i met with curse words, aggression, & belittling behavior.. calling me childish, etc. all because i expected the bare minimum.. professionalism. he claimed i was trying to WRECK his business, because i mentioned leaving a review about my experience.. no one deserves to feel disrespected, or emotionally drained over a simple tattoo inquiry.

However, before I decided to stop by I checked the online site and saw all of the artwork and information/advice that was provided. This helped me out a lot before going into the studio. I particularly admire TJ's Japanese style vibes. So when I got to the studio I met with the one and only TJ, and wow as an artist/owner my first impression of TJ was that he seemed very humble and open. He helped me figure out what I wanted and where I wanted my tattoo which took a couple of minutes. After my deposit he began the sketch and when it finished I got even more excited since it looked so nice. I went in for a total of 10 hours or so and there was never a second that I felt uncomfortable. The store manager Lucious was there and gave me lots of advice, he was also hella lit. TJ also makes sure you're ready and comfortable before he begins his amazing artwork and while he's doing it. The place is also very clean and organized, love the new renovations. In the end I am super happy and stoked about this first tattoo. TJ is an amazing artist and deserves more recognition for sure. If you're ever in need of unbelievable tattoo artwork and fun experiences I really recommend this place.
