Catfish 2 piece plate
Kiana G.

Price: Affordable, There was only 1 staff member when I walked inside and he was really nice. Prior to leaving as I did a pick up order he showed me everything I ordered which was nice since most places just give your food and you leave. There isn't anyway to sit even if I did want to stay inside. I ordered a catfish plate with 2 pieces however I wish I would have seen a reference picture prior to getting the 2 piece because boy was that piece of fish big. Other than that the calamari was fried nicely, not too crunchy or chewing as well as the oysters. I ordered western fries instead of regular fries... the fries were okay, just needed a little more salt/season salt.

Unfortunately, this is where the fish ended up. Weird taste, not good

Small shop to order takeout Seems family owned and the young lady who takes orders has a good sense of humor Things are made to order The fish is served in a pizza box so the sizing is pretty big. Nice presentation I ordered a two piece trout. I ended up with three pieces. Nice gift, except it was a waste. I threw 90% of it away. The fish had a very weird taste. It had that farm-raised-in-a-fish-tank taste. Not a fresh caught taste. I just couldn't eat it though I was starving.

I have been in search of a good chicken box. And I'm pleased to say that I found one. The food was really good. The Service was good too. The restaurant was nice and clean but for ambiance ... it's a carryout lol. One fish dinner can literally feed 2 people. I like to treat myself once in a while to some good carryout food, this place will definitely be on my list

The food here is awesome. I ordered through door dash and the food was still hot, and came very well packaged. I ordered the lake trout combo, and a 4 piece wing combo . The wings were very well seasoned "just right" with a perfect crisp. The lake trout was pieces were huge , and the flavor was amazing portion size was enough for 2-3 people. The western fries were the best part , don't skip out on them. Overall everything was great, prices very reasonable, I'm planning to order again tomorrow . Lol

I tried this place a few weeks ago because I've seen a bunch of reviews that show these huge pieces of fish and a pizza box with fries scattered all around the box. I was excited about the idea of getting such a huge portion of food for a decent price, it looked really good. So I went to order takeout for my family and I. My sister was visiting from out of town as it was my niece and we made a pretty large order. We needed a larger order because we were feeding six people. So we ordered three chicken boxes. One small one large one kids, and order fried shrimp and a order of fried whiting. To my surprise, the portions weren't as big as they were in the picture, this may be because I ordered whiting and not the lake trout. I'm not a native Baltimorean, so I don't love lake trout as much as many of my peers do. I tend to order whiting when ordering from a takeout establishment. The food I think was just okay. My wife thinks it was just okay as well. It wasn't bad but just regular. Nothing really stood out as particularly good, nothing was bad but nothing was good. I don't live particularly close to the restaurant so I made a specific trip to make it there so I can experience the food and I'm not sure if I would make the same trip in the future. I will say the staff of the restaurant are truly some of the kindest easy to talk to people I have ever met in a take out establishment. They had casual conversation that seemed like they truly cared about the work that they were doing and the people that they were serving. If I needed to find just one reason to return it would be because of the staff at the restaurant. They were truly amazing. Other than that this is a through and through takeout restaurant. There are no tables to sit. There are few chairs to sit while you wait but it's a small waiting area so I would suggest ordering ahead so that you can just walk in and pick up.

Great meal at great restaurant and I look forward to coming back soon to try some other food here…read more A couple reasons for this not being a five-star review, first of all somewhere along the way our server left and another server took her place and we're not sure why but once the other server took over which luckily was right before dessert things slowed down to a snail's pace. It took forever for us to get our desserts and then the same to get our check. Not really sure why our server disappeared halfway through the meal, but she did. Secondly, I ordered a catfish sandwich which was delicious but I ordered it with no tartar sauce and our server said that that's the way she put it down but the kitchen didn't prepare it that way they prepared it with tartar sauce slathered all over the sandwich which I promptly sent back. Not being a big oyster fan, I did get a couple of raw oysters and actually really enjoyed them and will be back to have more in the future. My mom had the snakehead which was very delicious but also a very small portion for the amount that we paid. The website indicated that for those who are gluten-free, like my mom, the menu had stars on them but the menu that we had did not nor was there a menu with stars indicating what is or could be made gluten free. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice. We chose to eat outside because it wasn't too hot and we could sit under cover and enjoy the beautiful June weather. It was nice inside but it didn't look to be a very large area inside and could have been very noisy with the high ceilings. Not sure willl try in the future and report at that time. There are many things on the menu that I want to try so I will definitely be back. If you love oysters come here and they won't disappoint. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Aside from the two issues that I experienced, they were minor in the scheme of things and I will definitely be back.

As soon as we walked in, you are hit with a very potent smell of seafood, not in an appetizing way. After waiting like 15 minutes past our reservation time, we were seated upstairs. They did send out a dessert, on the house, since we did have to wait past our reservation time which was a nice gesture. Overall, I cannot see myself returning, especially since there are so many other options for seafood in the area.

The cute bags they are cooked in made it ideal to take away and eat at home. I think we'd order here regularly if we lived in the area. I am very picky about my seafood. While I love shellfish, my typical response is "meh"...l'm always chasing GREAT seafood. I liked this more than the well known sit down restaurant we tried earlier in the week. While I assume they cook from frozen based on the type of crab served, it tasted very fresh and much better than other "cooked from frozen" other restaurants serve.
