Best burrito anywhere with all of my favorite things and I don't have to ask them to hold anything! The Bobbie is stuffed with chicken, perfectly sized chunks of tender steak, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, guacamole AND green Chilies! It is so tender and flavorful it melts in your mouth. I indulge whenever I'm in Douglas for work. Unfortunately I've never strayed from ordering the Bobbie so I can't speak to the other items. However, I am witness to some delicious looking soups which change daily. The chips, RF beans and salsa all top in flavor. Don't miss this restaurant. These ladies do it right! Everything is from scratch in house including the chips, tortillas, salsa and hot sauce. I can't believe I ate the whole thing!!

The carne asada plate was juicy and very tasty, but I realized that carne asada is too tough to eat as a fork-and-knife steak. It's better shredded in a taco or burrito. Next time I'm in town I will definitely be back for delicious Mexican food and to visit with the nice people who work there.

They tasted frostbitten the masa looked old. That ruined the whole shabang. Very disappointed if you are going to sell them frozen rotate the packages. Sad Sad still craving those tamales but who in the hell can you trust.

The machaca that my wife got looked good and I saw another table with a good looking bowl of menudo. Unfortunately, my bacon had a funny smell as though it might have been cooked on a grill with something else or worse a griddle that had not been cleaned in a while. It's funny because when I asked about the 2 item burrito specifically if that included the egg, the waitress told me yes but those were not the right prices. They have gone up. Thought that was kind of odd thing to say. Ever notices those menus that all the prices have stickers because they didn't want to reprint them. I used to think that was tacky but now I see at least they tried.

No idea what it was but it was my fave. I ordered beef flauta plate that came with rice and beans. Then an order of chips and salsa to go! The salsa they gave me with the to go order was soooo big! We came back again for dinner last Thursday. We had the same servers who recognize us from the Sunday before. She wanted to try the beef ribs. I had chicken enchiladas. While she praised the large portion, she also admitted the ribs were fatty. She took the leftover ribs home for a second meal. We both agreed that the homemade salsa is delicious. The chips we got were warm and crispy. My enchiladas were spiced just right. I'd have them again. Service was friendly. My friend noted that the interior of the restaurant is indeed very much like a genuine Mexican restaurant south of the border, with bold bright colors and decorative crosses on the walls.

The chips with the chips and salsa were freshly made and nice and warm. The salsa had no flavor and was just orange liquid. I ordered the carne asada steak and a cheese enchilada with green sauce. The green sauce was very good. The steak was so rubbery I couldn't even cut through it nor barely chew the one piece I actually got in my mouth. Flavorless as well. The whole steak went to waste. The beans were good, the rice way over done. My husband had the chimichanga with enchilada sauce. The chimi was overdone and had the same tough and fatty carne asada. The enchilada sauce was not good. Half of this went to waste as well. Even the margarita's were not good. So for over $50 we enjoyed the chips and green sauce. I really hate to put down a small business. We like to try new places and really help boost the local economy but this was just a money grab. Many older people were coming in as we left. Perhaps the locals can appreciate this place but we can not in good conscience let it go and not warn others. If you truly enjoy mexican food please know you have been warned.

Now I'll start by saying that this is not a traditional Mexican taqueria; is more like a fusion inspired place. Our server was very nice and I'm sad I don't remember her name! She recommended the strawberry basil and the spicy pineapple margaritas. 10/10 for both. Enough alcohol and the flavor was great and not painful spicy just a good hint. We ordered the chips with the salsa sampler (guajillo, red and green) and I could have just eaten those for dinner and would have been set! I order the fish tacos and hubby order the carnitas and immediately yes! Both come w 2 tacos each ( my only complaint is I wish it was 3). Fish tacos had a decent portion of fish and the carnitas were bursting with meat. The pork reminded me of cochinita pibil as it had a hint of sweetness in the best way. Last thing- let's address the bean situation. It says on their menu that they are red beans with a Southerb style and is true and I'm here for it! As a Puerto Rican I prefer my beans to be flavorful on their own and their beans are! So if you are looking for a more refrito type mild flavor beans these are not it... but you are missing out! Will be back for sure!
