Went this time for an emission test for Texas registration. Before I went there, I checked all levels of oil, transmission, PS, antifreeze, cleanliness of engine, hoses tight and clean, and antifreeze. All levels just fine. So went there, and asked about the pulley. They did the emission test, then drove truck around, and played under the hood. No repairs, they were just looking. So I leave, and I think how weird the truck sounds. And figured it was probably something to do with the steering, as it growled when I turned corners. Got home, and checked all levels, and for some reason, the power steering fluid level was WAY overfilled! It was fine before I took it there. Anyway, have driven it a few times, and the engine still sounds real bad, especially when turning corners. So I don't know if they overfilled it for some reason... maybe to get me back to fix the problem that suddenly occurred after I was there. I'm a middle aged woman, but dad taught us kids to change oil and do all minor repairs before he let us buy a car. I brought him a part that I thought could possibly be the issue, just in case. He replaced that part and then added two other parts without letting me know beforehand. I didn't think much of it at the time because I was told the coolant was leaking from each of those parts. In total, I ended up paying around $1,700 in parts and labor. The very next day after picking up my truck, I noticed it was leaking again. I took it back the same day, and he told me what the issue was and replaced another part. Two days later, I noticed coolant was still coming down around my coolant reservoir tank. At that point, I decided to take the truck to another shop to get a second opinion and find the actual source of the leak. The second shop determined that the coolant was leaking from the water pump. Based on their inspection, the parts that were previously replaced were not the source of the leak and did not need to be replaced. My issue is that I paid approximately $1,700 for parts and labor, and the original coolant leak was still there. I understand that diagnosing a leak can sometimes be difficult, but I believe customers should be informed before additional parts are replaced and charged for, especially when those repairs do not resolve the original problem.

He said he did not have a book receipt with him and said we can go to the office tomorrow and ask for one. The next day we go to the office and the front gates are locked during regular business hours so we call the main number and the girl who answered said they do not issue receipts to customers and refused to give out her name. She later said she will call her boss to call us and hung up in the middle of conversation. Later the boss, Ritchie, called back and also stated he does not give customers their receipts for their car insurance claims for reimbursements on towing. It was cash under the table which was not addressed yesterday when the car was towed. So in reality we paid cold cash and never got proof of service needed for car insurance and thus never got reimbursement knowing our car insurance would have glady taken care of it....this place is a scam and should be shut down as they are ripping off the local customers and literally getting away with it. :/
