I really loved the space. When you walk in it definitely makes you forget that one of the busiest streets in San Antonio is right outside. The clothes are a bit pricey so don't expect to go there and find ridiculous thrift store bargains but it is a great place to go if you just got paid and need to treat yourself. Moda Luna carries everything from cute dresses to tops and jeans. Everything I saw is what I like to call the "inbetween" clothes. They're not super dressy but it's not your regular Gap t-shirt and jeans. I would definitely recommend stopping by Moda Luna, but be sure to call ahead because they just changed their hours and now close early on the weekdays.

It's also an incredibly beautiful store - tall ceilings, wood features, incredible rugs... it bears no resemblance to the Stein Mart I used to visit growing up that was in the location previously. It even has a bar area, where you can get a local draft beer, wine, coffee, or espresso. I ended up keeping two out of the four, plus I had an online order I needed to return what didn't fit. During that first in-person visit, the associate who helped me was passive-aggressive and rude. I asked her if she could please hold one pair so I could see the total before deciding, and she seemed annoyed by that request. It was uncomfortable. I'm sorry, but I should be able to look at the total before paying so I can decide how much I want to spend. Today, I had to go back and return what simply didn't fit. The same associate was at the register, and she looked me up and down. (Ironically, I was wearing Loft.) I had two separate bags, which she clearly saw. She opened the first bag and proceeded to smell the pants with an offended expression. I guaranteed you that she did that on purpose. I have NEVER had anyone do something like that. Even if that's a store policy, the way she did it was extremely rude. Then she gave me attitude about doing two separate transactions, even though I had no way of knowing they could be combined. What I like about the place is that they are located in the beautiful Alamo Quarry and they have some really nice sales associates, more so than the one that we went to in Dallas just a few days later. We didn't buy anything from either store, but we like to go in a lot of different stories so we get a good idea of what we want.
