We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and was kindly greeted. There were a few donuts left in the case and I chose the Biscoff, Oatmeal Pie, Classic Chocolate Sprinkle, and what looked like Churro with caramel swirl. I also got a funnel cake and 2 scoops of the Cappucino Crunch ice cream for my wife. The donuts were delicious!!! I had to stop myself from eating them in one sitting. They were not lying when they said they didn't need a fresh donut light! 30 minutes before closing and the donuts tasted so fresh! The Chocolate sprinkles was really good, can't go wrong with a classic. The donut itself (for all of them) was so fluffy and airy and had that delicious donut tatse. The chocolate frosting wasn't overly sweet and it had the perfect amount of sprinkles on it. The Oatmeal Pie donut was also really good. I like that they include an Oatmeal pie piece on there. The Biscoff donut had to me my fave out the bunch. It was packed with different textures and flavors. The white frosting was absolutely devine. I would say I would prefer the crispy pieces to be a bit more fresh to get that crunchy texture. I also thought this one tasted more like oatmeal pie than the actual oatmeal pie donut but they were both still delicious. The churro donut was perfectly seasoned with cinnamon and sugar. I would have loved more caramel sauce on that one but again, still delicious. Overall I truly enjoyed the vibe here. Everyone was so friendly. It very spacious so if you want to sit inside and enjoy your treats you can. They also have a variety of other things like hot foods, coffee, lemonade, and fried oreos. I will definitely be back to try more!

Definitely a spot you want to hang out and snap pics in. Now the donuts... SO good. The hot mini donuts were fresh, soft, and covered in powdered sugar perfection . The loaded funnel cake with cookies, chocolate drizzle, and powdered sugar was over-the-top in the best way -- sweet, crunchy, and totally worth it . Everything tasted fresh and made with care, and the presentation alone had me excited before the first bite. If you're craving something sweet and fun, this is definitely a must-stop spot! This is a great drink for the fall, either warm or cold. It has an apple flavor and it was so refreshing. My husband ordered the Peanut Butter Paradise. It was peanut butter with a chocolate drizzle. It was very moist and rich. Definitely a sweet craving! The customer service was great we were greeted when we walked in. The establishment was clean and well lit. Customer traffic was steady, but the vibe was quiet on this weekday lunchtime. Why not 4 stars? The croissant and brioche bun made a nice change, but a healthier bread option, multi-grain and/or whole wheat, for both would be appreciated. BEST DONUTS IN THE CAROLINAS!!!…read more If that is the only thing you take away from this review - let it be that these donuts are the BEST in NC and SC. Every single donut, fritter, donut hole, long john - you cannot go wrong. My favorite is the chocolate Long John with white buttercream. The owner is precious and so unbelievably friendly! She even threw in a few fee donut holes with our order. The building itself is very cozy and reminds me of a local spot that you can count on for consistent quality and service. So!!! Now for the long story. My brother used to live up in Burlington, NC and would bring donuts from a place called "NC JELLY DONUTS" every time he came to visit. Long story short - we became obsessed. He would bring a dozen donuts and they would be gone before the end of the weekend. Well... the time came for him to move away from Burlington and we all cried because we do not know the next time we would have "NC JELLY DONUTS". Each week we would get in the phone planning our next trip to Burlington - patiently waiting to get our donut fix. We didn't want to branch out because we thought we had found the best. Flash forward to 4/2/2026 - my brother is visiting the CLT area. For the past 6 months have been researching donut shops in the GREATER Charlotte area since we aren't able to get up to Burlington this time. All of my sources have told me - try Momo Donuts - they are incredible. So, that is exactly what we do. From the moment we walked in the door at Momo Donut, we felt at home. Like a warm hug after a long journey. My brother's ears perk up, nose twitches, he looks at me and instantly says "This is NC JELLY DONUTS"!!! I explain to him that... no, this is Momo donuts and is different. When we go to pay for our donuts we mention about our addiction to NC Jelly Donut and ask if they have ever heard of them. That is when the owner bursts into a smile and says "Oh yes, that is my sister!!!" - WHAT A SMALL WORLD! I am happy to share that the addiction has resumed and we are so grateful that Momo donut is now just a short car ride away. A sense of peace and order has returned to the balance of our lives. So, I apologize that there are no photos - the donuts were consumed too quickly to snap a picture. But don't worry - I will visiting again soon! So grateful for this family and their commitment to bringing joy through their baked goods. What a small word that we they have become so vital in our families life.
